Chapter 83 - Chapter 79 : Angry Flanders, Seeking Justice

The morning sun slowly rose over the horizon, casting warm golden light over the land.

The sky shifted from pale blue to a deep orange, like a painting come to life.

The air smelled fresh, a mixture of earth and grass, carrying the promise of a new day.

Outside Notting City, Yu Xiaogang lay on the ground, battered and bleeding. His clothes were torn, his body covered in bruises and cuts.

Anyone seeing him could easily imagine the terrible ordeal he had endured the previous night.

Halfway between Notting City and Soto City, Tang Chuan stood among the bodies of six men he had just killed.

He gripped his silent sleeve arrow tightly, feeling a mix of exhaustion and triumph.

His thighs shook from the effort, but he raised his voice in victory.

"Hahaha! You scum deserve death! I, Tang Chuan, will take back what is mine!"

His roar carried across the fields, reaching a group of gorilla-like men five hundred meters away. They froze, anger and fear rising in their chests.

Hidden in Tang Chuan's shadow, a level ninety-nine black-armored puppet watched silently, holding a handful of medicinal powder, ready to act at a moment's notice.

Meanwhile, in Shrek Academy, south of Soto City, Dai Mubai slowly opened his eyes.

The small academy looked plain and worn, with only a few simple buildings and a tiny playground.

It seemed almost forgotten by the world, yet today, it was filled with tension.

"Water… I need water," Dai Mubai whispered, his voice weak.

His once-bright eyes were dull, his energy gone. Shao Xin, a level 73 Food-School Soul Sage, quickly gave him a sip.

At that moment, Flanders entered the room. Hearing the sound of movement, he pushed the door open and walked in.

"Dean…"

Dai Mubai burst into tears, his body in pain, every movement sending a sting through his muscles.

"Who did this?" Flanders demanded, his eyes cold. Whoever had harmed his student would pay, no matter what. If Ma Hongjun and Oscar hadn't intervened the night before, Dai Mubai might already be dead.

"One man… two women… Rose… Rose Hotel," Dai Mubai said with great effort, nearly whispering the last two words through gritted teeth.

Flanders' expression hardened. The name of the hotel did not matter; justice would be served. He activated his spirit immediately. His Cat-Owl spirit granted him incredible speed. At full power, he could reach Soto City in just five or six minutes.

---

In Soto City, at the Rose Hotel, Yuan Longxuan was already awake, watching the sunrise. He had given up on taking another nap. After all, without anyone in his arms, it was impossible to sleep comfortably.

He blamed Dai Mubai for this. All because of him, his little "rabbit" had refused to stay close the previous night. Yuan Longxuan felt annoyed, but also a little sad.

In Xiao Wu and Wu Ling's room, the morning was quiet. Wu Ling had snuggled into the spot that should have been Yuan Longxuan's, and Xiao Wu stirred awake as the small girl moved.

"Master is awake," Wu Ling said happily.

"Yes, dear disciple. Master is here," Xiao Wu murmured, her ruby-red eyes blinking open. Seeing Wu Ling in her arms, a faint smile crossed her face.

"Hmm… you smell good, as always," she said softly, though Wu Ling quickly protested.

The morning was peaceful for now, but time was pressing. Xiao Wu, now a level 95 Super Douluo, and Wu Ling, a ten-year-old level 27 Great Spirit Master, were still growing stronger. With the Yin-Yang Twin Flower and the beast's soul bone yet to be fused, their potential was limitless.

Outside, the Rose Hotel was already alive with activity. Young women in long white dresses and elegant gowns stepped out of their rooms, filling the hallways. The hotel thrived on its reputation, and it was no surprise that Dai Mubai, known for his wealth, stayed here often.

Yuan Longxuan walked calmly through the hotel corridors, feeling the gazes of several women upon him. Six or seven pairs of eyes followed his movements, curious and admiring, yet he ignored them all. He was not here for distractions.

At the reception hall, the waiter from the previous night bowed politely. "Sir, did you sleep well?"

Yuan Longxuan smiled faintly. "The environment is good, but you should be more careful about the troublemakers who come here. Last night, I spared someone's life, yet my plans were ruined because of Dai Mubai."

The waiter nodded, though he didn't fully understand the events. To ordinary people, even a soul master was a mystery.

Suddenly, a dark figure appeared behind Yuan Longxuan. The glass doors trembled as if announcing the arrival of someone important.

"Your student? The yellow-haired one who caused trouble yesterday?" a burly middle-aged man asked, stepping forward. He appeared to be around fifty, with a slightly hooked nose, broad cheeks, and orange-yellow eyes with sharp pupils. Even with his eyes closed, his presence was intimidating.

Yuan Longxuan turned to him, assessing the man carefully. He could sense that this was no ordinary person. Justice would soon be delivered, and the one responsible for Dai Mubai's injuries would not escape.

With the morning light streaming in, the stage was set. Soto City and the Rose Hotel had become the center of an inevitable confrontation. The air was tense, charged with anticipation. Yuan Longxuan felt his spirit surge, ready to act. No matter what challenges lay ahead, he would protect those under his care and make sure justice was done.

And in that moment, everyone knew: the calm of dawn was only the beginning.

By the time the sun rose fully, the city would witness the storm that Yuan Longxuan would unleash.
