Lena's heart was racing as the woman approached her. She didn't know what to expect, but she felt a sense of trepidation. The woman's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and Lena felt like she was being sized up.
"Walk with me," the woman said, her voice low and husky.
Lena hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But something about the woman's tone put her at ease. She nodded, and the two of them started walking through the park.
As they walked, the woman didn't say a word. Lena tried to break the silence, but her voice caught in her throat. She felt like she was in a trance, following the woman's lead.
They walked for several minutes, the only sound being the crunch of gravel beneath their feet. Finally, the woman stopped and turned to face Lena.
"My name is Sophia," she said, her eyes locked on Lena's. "And I'm here to tell you something important."
Lena's curiosity was piqued. She leaned forward, her heart pounding in her chest.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sophia smiled, and Lena saw a glimmer of sadness in her eyes. "You're not who you think you are, Lena," she said. "Your whole life has been a lie."
Lena felt like she'd been punched in the gut. She stumbled backward, her mind reeling. What did Sophia mean? How could her whole life be a lie?
Sophia's eyes seemed to bore into her soul, and Lena felt like she was being stripped bare. She didn't know what to believe, but she knew that her life was about to change forever.
"What do you mean?" Lena asked, her voice shaking.
Sophia's expression softened, and she reached out to touch Lena's arm. "Come with me," she said. "I'll show you the truth."
Lena hesitated, unsure of what to do. But something about Sophia's words resonated deep within her. She nodded, and Sophia led her out of the park, into a world of secrets and revelations.
