Chapter 83 - 83: The Overbearing Winged Dragon of Ra; Noelle’s Decision “A God Card? And it can summon the real Winged Dragon of Ra?!”

A flicker of surprise flashed in Han Feng's eyes.

Previously, he had seen Venti and Eula receive rewards like duel disks and card decks. He thought those were the only kinds of prizes customers could get, and had even sighed to himself that it would be nice if there were more variety.

But he hadn't expected this.

This time the reward was a God Card—and not just any God Card, but one capable of summoning a real monster. And of the three Egyptian God Cards, it was the mightiest: The Winged Dragon of Ra!

As expected of little Klee! Her luck was absurd!

For such a card to appear at this critical moment… who knew what kind of ripple it would cause? Han Feng's anticipation only grew.

Buzz——

At that tense instant, a radiant column of light suddenly descended from the sky, enveloping Klee.

The sight immediately drew everyone's attention.

"What's that light? Another monster appearing?"

"No, wait—it looks like the light that appears when someone gets a reward from the boss."

"I see it—it's Klee! She's the one who got the prize."

"I remember she was just reading Yu-Gi-Oh! too. Did she also get a duel disk?"

"Is this turning into a three-way battle?"

The crowd murmured among themselves as the light wrapped around Klee.

Moments later, the glow faded.

In Klee's small hands was now a card. Its backing was an unusual golden-yellow, and in the center was the illustration of a majestic golden dragon radiating unparalleled dominance.

"Han Feng-gege, what's this?" Klee ran over, holding the card up with a puzzled expression.

Because the God Cards had appeared so rarely in the manga, she hadn't recognized it right away.

"This is the God Card, The Winged Dragon of Ra," Han Feng explained with a smile. "And yes—you can summon it."

It amused him that Klee was nicknamed the "Little Fleeing Sun." Somehow, fate had paired her with this very card of the sun.

"Like how Singing Big Brother and Eula-jiejie summoned their monsters?" Klee's eyes sparkled with excitement.

If she could summon such a cool monster—and then ride it to go fish-blasting—wouldn't that be the best thing ever?

"Even stronger than theirs. You should try it," Han Feng chuckled, ruffling her hair.

The Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon on the field looked impressive, but they were ultimately nothing more than virtual projections. At best, they could scare people.

Klee's card was different.

This was a God Card capable of summoning the real Winged Dragon of Ra.

Any monster that bore the title of "God" wouldn't be weak. Even if limited by Klee's own strength, it would still far outclass those two fake monsters.

"Okay, Klee will try!"

She nodded firmly, but soon her little face twisted in frustration.

How was she supposed to summon it? She didn't have a duel disk like Eula.

Then, inspiration struck. Remembering the flashy summoning poses from the manga, Klee lifted the card high above her head, striking a chuuni pose, and shouted:

"Winged Dragon of Ra! Hear Klee's call! Descend now! Help Klee defeat Eula-jiejie and Singing Big Brother's monsters!"

(⊙_⊙)

At that, Eula and Venti's lips twitched.

Good grief!

What did I do to deserve being targeted too?!

As soon as the words left her mouth, the card in Klee's hand pulsed in response.

A crushing aura erupted outward, blasting from Klee as the epicenter.

The pressure was so immense that the onlookers involuntarily stepped back, faces paling in shock.

Before anyone could speak—

Swoooosh!

A massive green-gold light burst forth from the card, shooting skyward.

Rumble! Rumble!

The clear sky above darkened in an instant. Thick black clouds churned overhead, flashing with bolts of golden lightning and booming with thunder.

Under the horrified gazes of the crowd, two colossal golden claws tore through the storm clouds.

Then, enormous wings shimmering with blinding radiance unfurled.

Finally, a pair of golden eyes ignited in the darkness, exuding a suffocating pressure.

"W-What monster is that? It's terrifying!"

"They said it was the Winged Dragon of Ra… could it really be a god?"

"Boss Han's card is insane. This monster's aura is even more overwhelming than the other two combined."

Everyone swallowed hard as they stared up at the golden dragon blazing in the heavens.

"No… this isn't virtual. It's real."

Venti's expression grew solemn. He could clearly sense the genuine power radiating from the creature. Though it seemed somewhat restrained, it was still vastly beyond the fake monsters they had summoned. Perhaps it was even stronger than Dvalin.

"So the manga doesn't just grant toys… it might give out the real thing?"

La Signora's eyes flickered with realization.

She had assumed the monsters were just flashy illusions with no combat value, which was why she had dismissed that particular manga earlier.

But this… this changed everything.

If the Fatui could acquire such creatures, their power would soar to unimaginable heights.

Boss Han truly never ceased to surprise.

Of course, if Han Feng knew what she was thinking, he would laugh himself silly.

To summon a real monster was already absurdly lucky—summoning a God Card even more so. Only someone like Klee, whose Luck stat was maxed out by nature, could pull it off.

As it stood, even this Ra was limited by Klee's own abilities. Its true might was suppressed. But its entrance—majestic, godlike—was suitably dramatic for the first appearance of the chief of the three Egyptian Gods.

"Wow! Such a cool dragon!"

Klee bounced in place, her eyes wide with joy. Not a trace of fear crossed her face.

In truth, there was nothing she feared in the world—except being locked up by Acting Grand Master Jean.

Since the dragon had been summoned by her, the Winged Dragon of Ra bore no malice. It simply obeyed its master's will, fixing its burning gaze on the Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

Sensing the threat, the two virtual monsters bristled instinctively.

But it was pointless.

Crack! Crack!

With just a glance, Ra's divine aura shattered both into fragments.

Han Feng wasn't surprised.

Even if the Dark Magician was an "instant-win" card in the game, this wasn't a game anymore. Ra was not a projection but a real entity. Its superiority was absolute.

The others, however, were completely shaken.

Kaeya and Diluc, who had no idea what was going on, could only stare dumbfounded.

"Klee's dragon is way too strong! Those two monsters didn't even resist before getting obliterated!"

"Maybe it's because Klee's card has 'God' in the name. Of course it's not normal."

"If only I could have a card like that…"

Noelle's small face had gone pale from the overwhelming display.

The sheer majesty of the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon…

The awe-inspiring Dark Magician…

And now, the domineering Winged Dragon of Ra…

Each had left an indelible impression on her heart.

And in that moment, her resolve crystallized.

She would ask Boss Han to let her stay here as a maid.

If such miraculous cards existed here, surely there were countless other wonders as well.

If she worked diligently, read manga, and sought guidance from the boss, she was certain she could grow stronger—strong enough to pass the Knights of Favonius exam and become a true Knight of Favonius!

"Yes," Noelle whispered to herself, eyes firm. "That's my decision. No matter what it takes!"
