The Nine-Tailed Fox's eyes burned, twin pools of crimson fury, as a deafening roar ripped through the air, the sheer force of it shuddering through the trees and shaking the leaves to the ground.
"You insolent brat," it bellowed, "I will kill you today!"
Its nine tails, each a torrent of world-breaking power, drew magnificent, deadly arcs through the air as they converged on Kagami.
Yet, just as the titanic appendages were about to crush him, Kagami's form blurred, the furious assault striking nothing but empty air. The shockwaves from the missed attacks tore through the landscape, but Kagami remained untouched. Enraged, the Nine-Tails thrashed wildly, its tails a chaotic storm trying to catch the phantom-like Uchiha who seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at once.
Kagami, however, moved with an almost insulting grace, his hands casually tucked in his pockets. He weaved between the destructive tails with the effortless elegance of a dancer, a calm smile playing on his lips as if he were merely toying with a petulant child. The very air around them warped and distorted from the sheer force of the battle, dust and debris choking the sky. Each swing of a tail was a thunderous roar, but Kagami danced through the storm unscathed.
Though no direct blow had landed, the Nine-Tails felt a crushing, suffocating pressure. Its rage was met with nothing but casual contempt, and its power felt utterly insignificant.
After a few moments of this one-sided display, Kagami's patience wore thin. He twisted his neck, a faint cracking sound cutting through the din. "Your strength is a profound disappointment," he said, his voice laced with boredom. "I can't even be bothered to take you seriously."
Before the Nine-Tails could even process the insult, a single, impossibly fast slash cut through the air. In front of the beast's horrified eyes, all nine of its tails were severed in an instant.
A pained shriek tore from the Nine-Tails' throat as its power was drastically diminished. Its massive form began to shrink, the raw chakra that composed it bleeding away.
"Wait, stop!" it screamed in pure terror. "I'll go back! I'm going back now!" Without a moment's hesitation, the ancient beast frantically funneled its remaining chakra back into Naruto's body. The Uchiha before it was a monster far colder and more cruel than Madara had ever been. A primal terror seized the beast. Compared to facing this pervert, the seal inside Naruto felt like a welcome sanctuary. This new world was too terrifying; it never wanted to come out again.
Seeing the beast retreat, Kagami lowered his hand. A moment later, the crimson chakra vanished completely, receding back into the unconscious Naruto.
The watching Konoha villagers, who had been frozen in terror, erupted into cheers. The shinobi from the major clans, however, stared at Kagami with a new, deeper level of fear. Any lingering thoughts of resistance or defiance they might have harbored were instantly obliterated. They had just witnessed this man effortlessly humiliate the Nine-Tails, a creature of legend. They did not want him to one day turn that same casual, cruel power on them.
Kagami, of course, was aware of their fear, though he didn't particularly care. His attention was on the pulsating chunks of flesh and solidified chakra left behind where the Nine-Tails' tails had been severed. It seemed a waste to let such pure power dissipate. An idea took root in his mind: could he, like the Gold and Silver Brothers of old, devour the beast's flesh and claim its chakra for himself? If he could, his own chakra reserves would skyrocket, allowing him to bypass the tedious process of training and begin learning advanced ninjutsu immediately. If he could master the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique... the possibilities were endless.
A flicker of excitement lit his eyes. He picked up the unconscious Naruto and turned to Hiashi and Shikaku. "Collect every last piece of the Nine-Tails' flesh and blood. Bring it to my residence."
With that, he vanished.
Back at his temporary home, Kagami used his reversal technique to heal Naruto's minor injuries before tossing him onto the bed next to Sasuke. Soon after, a shinobi delivered the gruesome remains of the Nine-Tails.
He picked up a pulsating fragment of the beast's flesh, its raw chakra making the air hum. He hesitated for a moment how he should eat it but this is a mass of chakra it can't be cooked and made into a delicious meal.
After some contemplation, he consumed it. A violent torrent of energy erupted within him, a raging river of power that would have torn any normal shinobi apart. But thanks to the resilience granted by his cursed energy, his body held firm. To better manage the influx, he circulated the energy as if he were refining chakra, and in a matter of moments, he had absorbed it completely.
A quick assessment revealed that his chakra reserves were now comparable to that of a top-tier Jonin. A single, small piece had granted him such a massive boost. If he consumed all the remains, he calculated his chakra would be second only to the Nine-Tails itself, surpassing even the other eight Tailed Beasts.
Finding no adverse effects, he continued to devour the flesh. He did not keep it all for himself, however. He shared a portion of the raw chakra with Rinne and Kurenai, allowing them to increase their own power.
Yes kurenai as well because she can't possibly betray him because of the side effects of Yang body.
As his women, they would rarely need to fight, but it was always better to be prepared. Their bodies had different tolerances; even with Kagami's help, they could only consume about half a tail's worth before risking overload. Rinne, with her awakened Mangekyo Sharingan, managed to absorb the most. The influx of power elevated them both to a new level, granting them reserves deep enough to utilize powerful ninjutsu at will. After all, even a fraction of the Nine-Tails' concentrated power was thousands of times greater than that of an ordinary ninja—with the sole exception of a monster like Hashirama Senju.
