Chapter 398 - Chapter 397: Tidal Finale

Although Saint Saturn's expression remained relatively composed, he was becoming increasingly agitated by Jerry's relentless commentary and progressively more arrogant attacks.

As someone who stood at the absolute pinnacle of world power, he certainly hadn't descended to this battlefield to serve as anyone's punching bag.

While Saint Saturn typically oversaw science-related governmental affairs, his combat abilities were absolutely not to be underestimated under normal circumstances.

However, many of his most devastating techniques seemed to have little to no effect on Jerry whatsoever. Having been knocked down immediately upon his arrival, the Elder found himself constantly wavering between passive defense and rapid regeneration, seemingly unable to mount any meaningful counterattack.

After being launched backward yet again—contributing involuntarily to the island's ongoing soil excavation project—Saint Saturn disregarded his numerous injuries and planted himself firmly in the newly created crater.

In that instant, tremendous pressure suddenly erupted from his massive spider form, surging outward like a raging tsunami of pure authority that swept across the battlefield in all directions.

"Insolent insect! This is absolutely unforgivable!" Saint Saturn roared with the fury of someone unaccustomed to being defied.

Seeing this display of power, Jerry—who had been flying forward to continue his pursuit—paused slightly in mid-air, then casually waved his hand to effortlessly deflect another vicious "evil eye" attack from the Elder.

"Haha, combining Conqueror's Haki with some kind of supernatural suppression technique?" Jerry observed with obvious amusement. Feeling an invisible restraining force attempting to bind him, he allowed a hint of disdain to curl the corner of his mouth. "How adorably predictable."

Multiple crackling bolts of black lightning suddenly erupted from Jerry's body, coiling around him like divine dragons made of pure Haki.

Just as Jerry was preparing to shatter his opponent's Conqueror's Haki and resume his enthusiastic "ball-kicking" exercise, he noticed several mysterious summoning circles suddenly materializing around Saint Saturn's position.

Jerry blinked with obvious interest and called out cheerfully: "Oh, I thought we agreed you'd come one at a time for fair fights. Are you planning to gang up on me directly now?"

At the same moment, he suddenly sensed something significant approaching and turned his head to glance toward the ocean.

Then Jerry raised his right hand, clenched it into a determined fist, and offered Saint Saturn a meaningful smile that promised imminent chaos.

"It seems this entertaining show should come to its dramatic conclusion. For the finale, please enjoy a refreshing bath in seawater courtesy of your friendly neighborhood pirate!"

The moment he finished speaking, a series of tremendous rushing sounds echoed from the distant ocean, growing louder by the second.

Saint Saturn's composed expression changed dramatically as he observed several massive dark shadows covering the sky and sun as they approached his position with unstoppable momentum.

He quickly glanced at the partially materialized figures within the summoning circles beside him, then looked upward with genuine alarm at five colossal water dragons swooping down from the heavens above.

Seeing that the Elder was preparing to launch some kind of counterattack, Jerry made no move to interfere. Instead, he simply waved his hand with a cheerful smile, as if bidding farewell to a dear friend.

In an instant, the ground cracked even more extensively while steam began rising from multiple fissures. The restless magma hidden beneath the surface had encountered tremendous volumes of rushing water. The water dragons in the sky dove downward like an aquatic vanguard, followed immediately by terrifying tsunami waves that resembled moving mountains of ocean.

Jerry had not only condensed the seawater surrounding the entire island into several water dragons—each measuring over a kilometer in length—to launch his devastating assault, but had also manipulated ocean currents to penetrate through underground gaps and erupt from below. This created a comprehensive encirclement attack combining land, sea, and air approaches with perfect coordination.

This sudden assault from all possible directions made every one of Saint Saturn's defensive preparations seem utterly insignificant.

Amidst violent roars and earth-shaking tremors, an unstoppable oceanic torrent rushed onto the island like a force of nature beyond human comprehension.

At this critical moment, not only the Five Elders and the remaining pirates who had been summoned to the battlefield, but even the warships stationed in the open ocean found themselves caught up in Jerry's unexpected aquatic rampage.

"What the hell is happening?!" came panicked shouts from multiple directions.

In the deep crater, the other Four Elders had barely finished materializing through their summoning circles when they witnessed an overwhelming wall of water rushing toward their position. The sight made them seriously question whether their spider-form colleague had chosen an appropriate teleportation location.

In the waters surrounding the island, countless ships were tossed up and down by the surging waves like pieces of driftwood, their ultimate fate completely uncertain.

Aboard the Marine warships, numerous sailors screamed as they were unexpectedly thrown into the churning ocean.

Far from shore on the southern side of the island, many pirate vessels led by the legendary Moby Dick were sailing away at maximum speed.

Noticing the tremendous tidal surge behind them that seemed intent on swallowing the entire island whole, Marco scratched his head and looked toward Ace with obvious disbelief.

"Hey, is this incredible display Jerry's handiwork?"

Ace observed the amazing spectacle from their safe distance and nodded with solemn respect for his friend's abilities.

"Definitely. It looks like several incredibly powerful opponents suddenly appeared on the island to challenge him."

Aboard the Black Nova, Deuce and the other crew members watched the gradually receding island with obvious concern for their captain's safety.

At that moment, as they continued observing the scene, the massive volume of seawater that had been rushing toward the island suddenly froze solid, transforming into crystal-clear ice that sparkled in the sunlight.

From their distant vantage point, the entire Treasure Island appeared to be surrounded by thick ice formations, resembling a budding ice lotus about to bloom in spectacular fashion.

This was obviously the masterwork of Admiral Aokiji, who was still present on the battlefield.

Before Deuce and the others could fully process this development, Carrot suddenly leaped high into the air with joyful cheers, waving her hands enthusiastically above her head.

"Brother Jerry! That's Brother Jerry—he's perfectly fine!"

In front of the massive "Ice Lotus" formation, a single water dragon burst forth from the frozen sea. Looking closely, everyone could make out a familiar figure standing steadily on the dragon's head with a fishing rod casually slung over his shoulder.

Witnessing this triumphant scene, not only did Deuce and the others cheer loudly along with Carrot, but many pirates from the Whitebeard Pirates also began howling with excitement.

If for no other reason than what Marco had reminded everyone: Jerry still owed the Whitebeard Pirates a magnificent victory banquet.

At that moment, the weather above the distant island suddenly underwent dramatic changes. The spectacular "Ice Lotus" formation trembled violently before collapsing entirely. Along with this destruction came billowing clouds of steam rising high into the sky, accompanied by volcanic eruptions in several areas—creating a scene that truly resembled the end of the world.

Jerry naturally sensed these dramatic developments behind him, but as a man of principle, he didn't turn around to pay excessive attention to the destruction he'd left in his wake.

"Hahaha! Everyone's welcoming me so warmly," Jerry's voice carried clearly across the water as his figure approached rapidly on his water dragon. "Is it because you can see that I caught another big fish?"

Perhaps concerned that his audience might not notice his prize, he raised the fishing rod in his right hand and shook a large sea bream that was tied to the line, displaying his catch as if it were a trophy representing his complete victory.

Under the watchful eyes of the assembled crews, the unfortunate fish rolled its eyes with obvious exasperation at being used as a prop.

A moment later, Jerry executed a perfect leap from his water dragon and landed steadily on the deck of the Black Nova with practiced grace.

"Brother Jerry, are you hurt at all?" Carrot flashed forward and reached Jerry first, her voice filled with obvious concern.

Deuce and the other crew members quickly gathered around their captain, examining him with the same worried expressions.

However, apart from his slightly torn clothing, Jerry didn't have a single visible scratch anywhere on his body.

"I'm completely fine—don't worry about me at all!" Jerry replied, looking around at his cherished friends with a brilliant smile spreading across his face.

Then he turned toward the Whitebeard Pirates' ships sailing nearby and began waving his arms enthusiastically while shouting across the water:

"Let's go, everyone! Time for the victory party!"

The sound of his voice carried across the waves, filled with the infectious joy of someone who had just achieved the impossible against overwhelming odds. Behind them, Treasure Island continued its dramatic transformation into a volcanic wasteland, but Jerry and his allies were already focused on their next adventure.

The legend of the man who had defeated an Admiral, fought the Five Elders to a standstill, and escaped with the authentic Laugh Tale pointer would spread across the world in the days to come. But for now, it was time to celebrate with the family he had chosen and the allies who had stood beside him through this incredible trial.
