Episode 6 – The Flame Awakens: First Clash
Night had fallen. The moon was absent, and the sky was drowned in shadows. Yet on the scorched land of the Faizi Syed Ancient Sect, one light still burned — the fire within a young soul.
Faizi Tian was no longer the same broken child. His cultivation had awakened, and his first breakthrough into the Ember Root Realm was now fully stabilized. His blood had changed, his aura had shifted, and his purpose had deepened.
But this was only the beginning.
Moments before sunrise, the ground trembled again. From the heart of the ruined sect, an ancient temple door creaked open for the first time in centuries. From within, a spiritual voice echoed.
Faizi Tian… you are the successor.
A figure of flame emerged. It was the soul of the first guardian of the Faizi Syed Ancient Sect. His body was gone, but his will had remained, waiting for someone worthy to appear.
You carry the divine bloodline of the Flame God. You were born not just to survive — but to conquer. Your pain, your loss, and your fire… are your destiny.
The spirit raised its hand. A glowing orb of flame appeared, spinning slowly in the air. It floated toward Faizi and merged into his chest.
As the divine flame entered his body, Faizi roared in agony. Every vein in his body lit up with glowing red fire. His bones groaned. His soul expanded.
And then, a new cultivation pattern ignited within him.
It was the second phase of Flame Soul Breathing — called Blazing Heart Circulation.
Each breath now pulled twice the energy. His spiritual meridians widened, and a glowing flame ring spun around his waist. This was the formation of his first inner core — the foundation of his true path.
Suddenly, the sky darkened again. A demonic aura appeared in the distance. A shadow burst through the clouds. It was a scout from the Eastern Demon Legion.
He landed just outside the broken sect wall and laughed.
So, a little flame user thinks he's special? Let me burn you first.
Faizi Tian stepped forward. His eyes were calm but sharp as blades.
You'll be my first kill.
The demon shot flame arrows toward him. Faizi raised his hand, and the arrows melted mid-air. His body flickered — his flame mark activated.
With a quick motion, Faizi countered with a powerful flame punch. Lava-like energy burst forward and knocked the demon backward.
The demon gritted his teeth and released a toxic fog, trying to surround Faizi. But Faizi spun his flame core — a burning shield appeared around him, burning away the poison.
In a flash, Faizi used a move that appeared in his soul through the divine flame mark — a technique called Inferno Step.
He leaped into the sky and smashed his heel down on the demon's head. The demon crashed into the earth, roaring in pain.
You humans… You will all die. The demon growled.
Faizi noticed a plate on his arm. It read:
Eastern Demon Legion – Shadow Unit Scout Number 13
That meant only one thing — this was not the real attack. It was just the beginning.
Faizi ignited the corpse with his flame and whispered to the ashes:
This is my home. My mother died here. My father was burned here. I will never let another demon walk this land again.
Suddenly, his flame mark glowed brightly. A message appeared in his mind like a divine notification.
