Chapter 56 - TWD ch56: Filthy rich.

{~zzz~They settled alright. Dale and Adam seem to know each other, not close but familiar, so Sasuke, what do you think about what I'd told you ?~zzz~} Daryl's voice sounded from the CB while Sasuke was reading a medical scroll.

"~zzz~Hmm, for now I've got two options for us, both have their pros and cons. ~zzz~"

{~zzz~Go on~zzz~}

"~zzz~You guys did an amazing job at clearing the side building; that saved us time, and thanks for having her stay back. ~zzz~"

{~zzz~Don't worry about it man, she too knows that you wouldn't have liked it hearing how we progressed with her...and she is the best to stay back and keep others safe. ~zzz~}

"~zzz~Yeah so, I knew about the destroyed outer wall of the administrative building. You took the wires off?. ~zzz~"

{~zzz~Nah, we found no reason to do so; it is working as a dangerous siege there. And way better than fences, actually; no normal blade can cut them.~zzz~~zzz~}

"~zzz~ Good, the prison has many entries and many blind spots to guard with only so few people we've got, but it also has the space, like the gyms and all; we can use all those. The issue of the wall and surroundings can be solved with some work, but a prison will be a prison no matter how clean it gets. Those cages and all...

The first option is that we work on it, make it better; in short, upgrade that place into a fortified castle, expand into the forest and build real houses and all instead of those cellblocks. We have Adam now, and me...he can plan, and in a month, I can transform that place.~zzz~"

{~zzz~Seems like a lot of work and noise.~zzz~}

"~zzz~The second option is...relocation, but the downside is obvious: too much moving will make them tired, and the morale will plummet, especially since we are at the doors of winter now. There are better places and lands around Atlanta; I found more and recorded it. With what we have, we can work on them rather than the prison.~zzz~"

{~zzz~How about this then? First, we make this place safe, for us, for now... After the cold of winter is gone, we move to a better place and truly invest in it.~zzz~}

"~zzz~ Sounds good; I will be having the right amount of resources for that soon enough. Atlanta had many places I found that are still untouched, but people are already progressing through here. Any more later and most of it would be looted.~zzz~"

{~zzz~You met other people? ~zzz~}

"~zzz~Five men, hostile, who go for the kill with no debate~zzz~"

{~zzz~Unfortunate bastards~zzz~} Daryl already figured their fate.

"~zzz~ Well, you guys can discuss what we talked about further; I have to go. Stay safe. ~zzz~"

{~zzz~Later, stay safe.~zzz~}

Sasuke put the CB aside and sealed the scroll, taking another bite from his sandwich.

He spotted the animal he will need a few hours ago, but it flew away before he was close enough. After some trouble and mapping the area, he finally found its nest on the top of a skyscraper.

A peregrine falcon he spotted from a distance taking off from the place he is in right now, the roof of a hotel named Four Seasons.

It wasn't a hawk like his Garuda, but in terms of speed and diving attacks? This type of falcon was a monster, and Sasuke decided to make it his contracted summoning animal.

He now has an impressive 72 threads of chakra.

Impressive because after the 50 threads, the chakra he started getting became a little...thicker with each thread.

Which made him aware that by the 100th, his first tomoe sharingan should be available to use.

As in the end, it wasn't about the chakra like he first thought, but the milestone—whatever was blocking his jutsu and techniques was unlocked totally after he acquired them back.

Thus, it won't matter if he has only a pitiful 100 chakra thread, which equals a basic earth jutsu, which raises a 4x4 meters wall.

He wasn't sure about the chakra needed to keep it activated but a first tomoe shouldn't siphon much, usually, now with those pitiful threads...he really didn't have much hope.

As for the two-tomoe which needs more chakra? ,That would depend on when whatever the fuck is messing with his system is unlocked.

Sasuke then closed his eyes to rest a little; it was evening now, and he had already cleared the hotel below room by room.

He honestly missed the shadow clones...they were the best slav—labor men. Yep.

'If only one of them was available...I would put his ass to work 7/24'

Sasuke sighed; he would need at least 150 threads to have enough chakra for that.

Till now, he was extremely satisfied with the wealth he has now.

His resources were enough to run a city now with all the necessary needs to live.

Atlanta has provided him an abundance of resources and supplies, even potential shelters.

He found a big market; it didn't have many things, but its storage rooms held enough resources and food. And even a much larger amount of food was found in The Versity, a big restaurant.

Add to it the grocery shops, supermarket malls, and few facilities that used to do food processing; one of them belonging to Coca-Cola.

Thanks to his storage seal, which was now a huge inventory, he placed every useful piece of cloth, textile, and furniture found alongside food, medical supplies, tools, and hardware.

He looted every retail store specializing in electronics found on the way, like Best Buy and RadioShack, which provided him essential devices for surveillance, lighting, and communication.

Then there were the emergency services, medical supply stores, and hospitals. Some weren't looted, some were overrun, which took him some time to sweep through, but it all resulted in a plethora of medical gear, including stretchers, oxygen tanks, and surgical equipment.

He swept over three big libraries, which were untouched...as no one seemed to care about them now.

That left the construction sites, lumber yards, and home improvement centers, which needed to be looted for materials like wood, nails, pipes, and roofing for shelter construction and repair.

Then came the heavy locations, which made him grin ear to ear while he usurped everything.

The first being the Warehouse & Distribution Centers in Fairburn and Union City. Those massive buildings held a huge amount of resources.

The amount of ready-to-ship goods he found inside the secured buildings was staggering, to say the least.

Food: Pallets upon pallets of canned goods, rice, flour, sugar, salt, cooking oil, MREs, bottled water, sports drinks, and long-life milk.

Medical: Bulk medical supplies for distribution to pharmacies, like over-the-counter meds, first aid, and hygiene products.

General Goods: Toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, batteries, lightbulbs, clothing, etc.

Equipment: Forklifts and pallet jacks, which were what he needed to move things, and heavy-duty shelving.

The 4 big warehouses in that area covered a big part of his needs.

And another trip not far from there made him stumble upon the CSX Intermodal Terminal in Fairburn. Unlike the previous troublesome warehouses.

The hub there was touched, but considering the huge amount of containers that were ready to be either shipped or unloaded, whoever was here didn't have the means to transport all of them, nor the numbers and ammo to protect them.

As like every other place...it was overrun, most workers here were walkers when he came.

And Sasuke took his time checking the containers before sealing them in his storage seal.

He focused on the ones that held electronics from overseas and raw materials, including metals, plastics, and textiles. Then the new cars, military equipment, foreign foods, machinery, and finally the bulk chemicals.

And his last stop before coming to this hotel was obviously the highlight of this trip.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and its surroundings.

That place was the definition of a meat grinder when Sasuke reached the place.

Like many places in Atlanta, parts of it were napalmed.

Which invited a huge horde of walkers.

Sasuke couldn't even recall how many times he flashed his sword in that place.

It all became crowded, stinky, bloody, and suffocating.

But nonetheless, he took what he went there for.

As Billy told him. That airport is a self-contained city with unique, high-value resources.

The airport terminals & concourses were stacked with high-end stores and useful supplies.

Medical: First aid stations and paramedic carts with trauma supplies including tourniquets, defibrillators, and oxygen tanks.

Food: Vending machines (non-perishables), duty-free shops which has abundance of liquor, tobacco, chocolates. Restaurants that were stacked with spices and high-quality cooking equipment.

Electronics: Stores full of new-in-box laptops, tablets, headphones, and portable power banks.

Comfort: Thousands of neck pillows, blankets, and abandoned luggage containing clothing and personal items.

Then came the Airport Ground Operations & Maintenance Hangars.

He found heavy machinery, tools, and vehicles you can't find anywhere else usually.

Vehicles: Aircraft tugs that were high torque and great for moving heavy objects, fuel trucks, de-icing trucks containing useful chemicals like propylene glycol, baggage carts, and maintenance vans.

Tools: Aircraft mechanic toolsets of extremely high quality, welders, plasma cutters, and large-scale diagnostic equipment.

Power: Backup generators powerful enough to run a small town.

Materials: Scrapped aluminum from planes, high-grade wiring, spare parts.

Unfortunately, even with all that kill, which pushed him to the 91 thread. As in 910 walkers...his storage became full once he finished with the last location.

Something he never expected to happen considering that every thread adds a whole apartment (size-wise) of space.

That location was the Fuel Depots and Tank Farms near the airport.

Which held gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel: thousands upon thousands of gallons. Sasuke just stored the whole tank's contents. Not leaving even the jet fuel (kerosene) that can be used in some diesel engines or for high-powered heaters/lamps.

Additives & Lubricants: Barrels of motor oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, etc.

In conclusion, Sasuke was sure he was the wealthiest person on this new earth.

Farm? If he wasn't grounded, Sasuke might have swept in there, unsealing a part of his resources just to flex to that old man there.

Author here:

I myself won't be mad if someone shouts "word counts" on this.

Because honestly, it was heavy with things you guys don't care about.

But unfortunately, I had to do it this way for multiple reasons; one is to have a clear list of what Sasuke has and from where he got them. When the rebuilding started. I will only need to check this chapter.

And obviously, I used AI for help to categorize them and add things I myself didn't know.

So yep, it is what it is lol. Hope you are doing well and have a good day.

The next one won't be an info dump like this one.

Hopefully...
