Chapter 95 - Chapter 97 : The First Battle!!

Robin was reading through the history of Fish-Man Island. Some of the information matched exactly with the news spread by Ren, which made Robin wonder if Ren really knew all the history.

"Big Brother Ren, are we going up?" Arlong asked, licking his lips. He didn't look as fierce as in the original story when facing Ren.

"We won't go up. Fighting in the deep sea works in our favor," Ren said after thinking for a moment.

"But what if the World Government soldiers don't come down?" a mermaid warrior asked nervously. Did they really have to stay underwater forever?

"Don't worry. They will definitely come down. Just get ready for battle," Ren said confidently.

If they didn't come, he would keep spreading the news. The World Government couldn't just sit still forever.

At this time, the situation in the ocean was getting more tense. Even if the waves in the Four Blues were strong, few people noticed. Most of the Navy's forces were gathering at headquarters.

The World Government's strategy was to lure Ren out of Fish-Man Island and not fight him in the deep sea. Especially since there were many powerful fighters among them, it would be very disadvantageous for the World Government.

But unfortunately for them, Ren could survive in the ocean. And the news was being reported every day.

After waiting a day, another news report came out. This one mentioned the origins of the world nobles.

Even though it was just a brief mention, it immediately unsettled the Five Elders, who ordered a war.

Some of the Navy and CP ships started heading toward the deep sea, while the Knights of God remained still. The terrain here was too unfriendly for them to fully deploy.

The Navy's movements quickly spread through the world, marking the beginning of the war.

Mermaids who were already monitoring the ocean received the news and swam quickly toward Fish-Man Island.

A laser shot toward the mermaids, but the current mermaid warriors were no longer the same.

Their Observation Haki had been trained by Ren, and combined with their incredible speed, they easily dodged the laser.

"So scary. Mermaids really are the fastest creatures in the sea," Kizaru said, grinning and pointing.

"Stop firing. Since Ren dares to spread the news, he will have warned about this. It's pointless," Sengoku said, stopping Kizaru.

"Yes," Kizaru replied.

Sengoku turned to the gloomy man in the red suit. "Akainu, we'll be counting on you later."

"Mm," Akainu nodded. Since this was in the ocean, he needed to neutralize their advantage.

The mermaids' movements quickly reached Ren's ears. Finishing playing with Shirahoshi, he arrived at the entrance of Fish-Man Island and used Observation Haki to sense his surroundings.

Ren didn't have to wait long. He sensed five ships, and with them came countless fists. The moment these fists touched the ocean, they heated the water around them.

"Submarine Meteor Volcano." Akainu stretched out his fist, continuously releasing magma toward the seabed. There was no need to attack Fish-Man Island directly; this was enough to destroy the Fish-Men's advantage.

The Fish-Man standing with Ren couldn't help but swallow. This was a natural disaster. The dense magma fists were like the end of the world.

Ren drew Muramasa and began his attack. "One-Sword Style Secret, Ten Thousand Atomic Slash."

A huge net spread from the seabed. Even in the deep sea, it was cut apart. The water quickly returned to normal, but it created a severe undercurrent.

When the magma fists met the Atomic Slash, they instantly shattered into tiny particles. The attack wasn't over. The residual energy continued toward the Navy and the CP ships.

"Everyone, defend." Sengoku didn't hesitate and transformed into his Great Buddha form.

The attack was overwhelming. From a distance, it looked like a piece of cloth with tiny holes, but in reality, each hole was a slash.

"Ice Age." Aokiji immediately used maximum power to freeze the seabed, but the ice shattered into small pieces when it hit the slashes.

The CP forces transformed and activated their abilities, determined to stop this attack.

"Buddha's Impact." Sengoku unleashed palm strikes one after another. The Navy and CP alternated blocking, eventually stopping the slash, but the aftermath was massive.

A huge tsunami hit the Sabaody Archipelago, towering over ten meters, capable of swallowing islands instantly.

The reporters watching couldn't help but swallow. What kind of attack could cause such an impact?

On the battlefield, the massive current scattered the Navy and CP ships. Luckily, Vegapunk had developed an emergency membrane. Otherwise, they couldn't have withstood this attack.

"A monster." A Rear Admiral at the scene couldn't help but speak.

The others went silent. The enemy's attack required their entire force to defend. This wasn't an exaggeration; calling the opponent the world's strongest was justified.

"What will you do for the next strike?" Ren unleashed the same attack again. His previous strike had been blocked, but now the enemy ships were scattered. This hit would surely cause serious damage.

"Haa, after defending this attack, retreat." Sengoku shouted, releasing shockwaves frantically.

Kizaru no longer teased and fought with all his strength. Sweat streamed down his face.

At this level, any attack hitting the ship would surely destroy it and kill everyone on board. The ship carried many powerful fighters.

During the second attack, Ren's strike sank one Navy ship and one CP ship. Both sides hadn't even gotten close, yet their losses were severe.

Sengoku realized that Ren was too strong for non-ability users at sea. He immediately ordered everyone to retreat. Continuing the fight would only lead to unnecessary sacrifices.

Gion stared fixedly at the lone source of light. That person had grown far too strong. She gripped her sword, and now, facing Ren, she barely had the courage to lift it.

Ren, of course, intended to press his advantage. There was no reason to just repel an intruder; he had to chase them. He entered a small circular barrier and pursued the Navy and CP forces.

"He's coming. His speed is incredible." The Navy looked terrified.

After witnessing Ren's slashes, no one wanted to fight him. It wasn't fear of battle—they simply weren't on the same level.

"Yasakani no Magatama." Kizaru unleashed his ultimate attack without hesitation.

Countless beams of light shot toward Fish-Man Island. He didn't attack Ren directly, assuming Ren could dodge. Instead, he targeted the island to distract him.

Akainu moved alongside Kizaru. His Submarine Meteor Volcano tilted toward Fish-Man Island. If Ren ignored the island, he could surely catch them—but that was impossible.

"Ittoryu Ougi, Senkan Sousou." Ren's figure vanished instantly. A massive sword attack erupted, destroying the lasers and the volcano. A brief vacuum formed deep in the ocean.

This scene shocked both the Navy and CP. Not even Whitebeard could achieve this level of power. They had to reassess Ren's strength and abandon fighting at sea entirely.

The disaster above the ocean was equally terrifying. The Sabaody Archipelago was swallowed by waves, countless lives lost. The Navy headquarters was also battered by the tsunamis.

Newsbirds in the sky recorded this scene, calling it the "Death Tsunami."

"I can't catch up." Ren furrowed his brow. The ocean gave him an advantage, but it had limits. That had been the situation just now.
