Chapter 18 - Chapter 15: BNHA (2)

Be sure to show some love if you're enjoying the book, thank you and enjoy!

...

Standing in front of the door of his temporary classroom for the coming weeks, Damian had to agree with Midoriya, the door was damn big, it made Damian wonder what type of quirk a previous student must have had for them to make the doors this size as he opened the door.

Sadly for him, he didn't have much time to ponder useless thoughts as his peace was interrupted by a voice he found no words to describe as to how much it gets under his skin.

"Huh?" Muttered a spiky haired brat.

"Don't you think that's rude to the U.A…."

[I suppose that's the "annoying boyfriend of Midoriya" you have talked about.] Tuning out the unskippable dialogue, he made his towards the back of the class as Eva made another of her sarcastic comments.

'The one and fucking only.' Nodded Damian mentally as he walked, ignoring the gaze of Iida that was practically burning his nape as he passed them by.

Thankfully, his gaze didn't linger as he turned to see Midoriya standing in the doorway all shy. As Iida walked up to him, something unexpected for Damian happened for the first time since coming here, aside from all the other unexpected stuff that involved others interacting with him of course.

"Good morning! I'm from Somei Private Academy. My name is-"

Interrupting the frigid regulation-book-turned-teenager, Midoriya spoke. "I heard. Nice to meet you, Iida-kun."

"Midoriya-kun, I want to apologize to you!"

"Eh?" Stammered Midoriya, caught off guard.

"I have reflected upon my words after the boy that came with you spoke to me before the test. It was presumptuous of me to judge you before I even saw you perform," accommodating his glasses, the boy spoke even more fervently. "Especially after seeing how you realized the hidden part of the exam. I misjudged you. I hate to admit it, but you are better than me. Again, I apologize." And he finished his speech by doing a full 90° bow.

As the boys made friends with one another, Damian got to his seat in the second-to-last row on the left and put his bag down before he spoke while smiling to the girl sitting behind him, keeping in mind the usual japanese customs. "Hello there. Name's Damian Rossi," he said with an easygoing and approachable tone. "Nice to meet you. We'll be sitting next to each other from now on so let's get along."

After speaking, his eyes met those of Yaoyorozu. She blinked, startled at suddenly being addressed so directly. Damian extended his hand across the narrow gap between desks.

Yaoyorozu hesitated for a breath, then returned the smile, warm and composed despite her initial surprise. She gently shook his hand with both of hers in her usual proper lady etiquette.

"Yaoyorozu Momo," she replied, voice refined but friendly. "It's a pleasure, Rossi-san. I… look forward to studying alongside you."

"You can just call me Damian," he said in a relaxed manner, still not used at all at the japanese honorifics, though it didn't show on his face. "Formality has its place, but it feels more natural this way, don't you think?"

A quiet laugh escaped her, small but genuine. "Then–Damian-kun. I'll remember that."

Damian's smile widened before he turned to his right. Sitting there was Tokoyami Fumikage, his avian head bowed slightly as if already enveloped in a thoughtful silence.

Damian extended his hand again, meeting the sharp gleam of Tokoyami's eyes. "Rossi Damian. I hope we can get along." He said, correcting the order of his first and last name after hearing Momo.

Tokoyami regarded the hand for a moment before grasping it firmly, his tone deep and solemn. "Tokoyami Fumikage. May the shadows of hardship sharpen our resolve."

Damian tilted his head, holding a laugh while Eva bursted laughing, not having to worry about first impressions. Smirking faintly at the theatrical cadence, he spoke. "That's quite the greeting. I'll take it as a vow, then."

Tokoyami inclined his head ever so slightly. "A vow, then."

Finally, Damian turned forward. In the seat ahead sat Todoroki Shoto, the half crimson, half white haired boy, posture upright but his expression cool and detached.

Damian leaned forward slightly, offering his hand. "Rossi Damian. I'll be counting on you, Todoroki."

Todoroki's eyes flicked to the hand, then back to Damian's face. A beat passed before he accepted it, his grip firm but brief.

"…Todoroki Shoto." His voice was calm, flat, yet carried a faint undertone of curiosity. "I'll remember your name."

"That's all I ask," Damian said, releasing the handshake with an easy grin.

For a moment, the three introductions lingered in the air; Momo's polite warmth, Tokoyami's chuuni solemnity, Todoroki's quiet reservation. Damian, ever adaptable, carried each exchange with the same balance of confidence and sincerity, weaving himself naturally into the rhythm of Class 1-A.

Then, with all introductions made, he finally sat down, resting his arms casually across the desk. And right on cue, a crusty looking emo made his way inside the classroom.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota. Nice to meet you."

And followed by those words were the gasps of the class.

[They're reacting like they've never seen someone that looks homeless before.] Joked Eva.

'That's teenagers for you, they like to react loudly at anything,' said Damian while looking at the unkept hero. 'Though the fact that he does look like a homeless man doesn't help.'

After the quick introduction, Aizawa asked everybody to change uniforms and go to a test field outside.

 …

Once all tests were done, Damian was taking notes of the examination circuit and how to apply that for his future hero training course as he was painfully aware how unprepared for the job some heroes back home were.

It is to note that things did go differently as how they originally were intended to. Damian topped all tests except the hand grip one as he still didn't have super strength, coming in 2nd place after the boy with six arms. This plus being 1st place in the practical exam did attract the attention–therefore the ire of that annoying brat Bakugo, much to his chagrin.

Also, Midoriya performed much better this time around as he was able to use the 5% full cowling for short bursts of time thanks to their training, coming in a 3rd place overall in a tie with Todoroki still there were no students who were forced to drop out. Which was a relief as he didn't want to intentionally fuck things up for these hero students, even if he had a vague, borderline next-to-no impression of most of them.

After classes were over, Damian spent the rest of his day training both body with the HM (I'll refer to the Hercules Method as HM from now on, just a head's up), mind with his mystical arts and powers by marking more areas of Japan while scavenging more scandalous information about corrupt wealthy and powerful people all over the world or by breaking in the data bases of support companies and copying their data, for 'reference material only', of course. All with the intent of accelerating his assimilation with Inuyashiki's data set, which was working as his assimilation skyrocketed, almost hitting the 50% mark, though it has slowed down lately.

'Probably I will need to diversify my actions in order to keep the increase steady.' Assumed Damian as he also started to work on bringing incredible games of his past life that haven't been made in his new universe to life. This was also a good kickstarter for his future economic endeavors and for 'Rossi Industries'.

Eva also hadn't been idle as she was learning how to use all of Damian's mutant-given powers independent of him, with much more ease than Damian himself as that was quite literally 'her thing'.

As this was happening on his end, in a non-descript part of the Kansai region during the afternoon, the sounds of the city inundated the streets as a pissed off rabbit hero was kicking some criminal ass with more viciousness than usual.

She has been trying to track down the foreign boy who had made a fool out of her more than a week ago, but apart from some obscure rumors of a new vigilante/new hero who didn't like being in the spotlight, nothing has come out of her search. Even when she asked the boy who turned himself in after being taken away by him, he refused to give away the name of who he called 'his saviour' and a 'great hero', a bunch of bullshit if you asked her.

'Tsk, don't let me catch you, brat.' She thought while hopping away before leaving the villain caught in the crossfire of her oddly persistent fixation beaten and bruised in a police station.

The low hum of chatter filled Class 1-A's room as sunlight spilled through the tall windows. Some students gossiped, others reviewed notes, while a few nervously tapped their feet under their desks.

Damian sat slouched in his chair, gaze fixed lazily on the window. His eyelids fluttered as though he were half-asleep, but beneath that calm exterior, the subtle lines of digital code streamed through his mind. His technokinesis reached outward invisibly to his desktop back in his apartment as he worked on coding his own "Obscure Souls".

Then a gentle pat on his shoulder pulled him back. "Damian-kun, are you alright?"

He blinked, turning slightly to find Yaoyorozu leaning toward him, her expression soft but edged with worry.

"Mh? Yeah, why?" He asked, voice carrying the lazy tone of someone who'd just been shaken from a daydream.

"You looked… absent minded," she said carefully, tilting her head. "Just staring out the window. I was a bit worried."

'What a thoughtful child.' Damian thought.

[Yeah, yeah. I've seen this a million times already.] Commented Eva in rebuke, though her voice was more amusement than anything else.

'Slow down there, partner. There's nothing happening between me and a child.' Said Damian while holding back the need to outwardly roll his eyes.

[This one right here, officer.] Said Eva while she figuratively pointed her finger towards him.

Ignoring her childish jokes, he also caught Todoroki's curious gaze–though he refrained from asking anything.

Putting back his characteristic smile, he spoke. "Oh. Don't worry. I'm just thinking about a little project I'm working on."

Yaoyorozu straightened, curiosity sparking immediately in her eyes. "A project? What kind of project, if I may ask?"

Before Damian could answer, the door slammed open with theatrical force.

"I AM… COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

The booming voice shook the classroom. Every head snapped toward the door as All Might, towering and radiant in his Silver Age costume, filled the threshold with dazzling presence. The room erupted in gasps and exclamations—half the class practically fell out of their seats in excitement.

"All Might?!"

"No way!"

"It's really him!"

Even Damian arched a brow, the corner of his mouth twitching as he held back a laugh at the dramatic entrance. Though he had to admit, the #1 hero did have a magnetic charm, making people pay attention to his every move.

All Might's laugh boomed, his teeth flashing like the sun. "Welcome, young ones! I will be teaching you all about Hero Basic Training!" He struck a gleaming pose, both fists on his hips.

Gasps turned to cheers, whispers of awe bouncing between the students.

"It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll learn a lot about this subject!"

While momentarily striking what can only be called a bodybuilder pose, he spoke"Let's get right into it! This is what we'll be doing today–" then he suddenly straightened up again. "Combat training!"

Then he started to speak about the accompanying costumes that were especially made for 1-A students with the help of an exclusive contractor support company, eliciting more gasps from the crowd as the students grabbed their respective suitcases before making a run for the changing rooms.

As everybody made their way out of a tunnel leading to another fake urban area, All Might stood there to receive them in his silver age costume, his voice booming as always.

"They say the clothes make the man, young men and ladies… Be fully aware… From now on."

"YOU ARE HEROES!"

'The speech don't really hit the same without the hype music.' And as the teenagers couldn't help but be excited by All Might's words, Damian could only think out of place thoughts.

Turning to his right, Damian saw Yaoyorozu looking at him with sparkling eyes, though she still retained her lady-like property, making for an amusing contrast.

Damian adjusted his white hood casually, letting it rest against the back of his neck. His suit, a pristine white, skin-tight fabric of his own unstable particle weave flowed seamlessly into a hooded cape that stirred slightly by his movement. Gold-colored armor marked his chest, shoulders, arm guards, boots, and belt, giving the impression of clean, understated regality. Not too flashy but not too shabby, at least he thought. (Image in the comments)

"Your costume… it's remarkable," Yaoyorozu said softly from beside him, her eyes lingering on the sleek lines of the suit before flicking to the golden accents. "It balances elegance and practicality. Did you design it yourself?"

Damian smiled, tilting his head toward her. "Mostly. The armor pieces I commissioned through the school, but the suit and cape… I made them myself," he lifted a bit of the cape between his fingers, the fabric catching the light oddly, like it wanted to ripple against the air. "Nothing too crazy, but it does the job."

Yaoyorozu's lips curved into a thoughtful smile, but before she could reply, Damian glanced over with an appraising look. His smile softened. "You look great too, Yaoyorozu."

The unexpected compliment drew a faint blush across her cheeks. She adjusted the strap of her red sash, eyes darting away for a moment. "Th-thank you, Damian-kun."

Ignoring the mocking voice of Eva parroting Yaoyorozu's shy words, he raised his eyebrow, a wry grin tugging at his mouth as he spoke again. "Though, don't you think it's a bit… revealing?"

The question caught her off guard. She blinked rapidly before drawing herself up with a composed nod. "Ah–yes, well. My Quirk requires me to generate objects from my skin. The more skin exposed, the more efficiently I can manifest larger items. That is the reasoning behind my design choice."

Damian hummed thoughtfully, crossing his arms as his cape shifted slightly. "Makes sense. But even then… I could help you make a design that isn't quite so revealing while still letting your Quirk function at full potential. There are ways to get clever with fabrics and structure."

Yaoyorozu blinked at him, caught between surprise and curiosity. "You could…?"

He gave a casual shrug, his gold arm guards catching the light. "Yeah. Materials, adaptive layering, maybe integrating microchannels into fabric. Wouldn't take away from your efficiency, just… give you more options."

Her expression softened, touched by his consideration. "…That's very thoughtful of you, Damian-kun. I'd like that."

To their right, Todoroki listened silently, his heterochromatic eyes flicking between the two with an almost imperceptible narrowing, though he said nothing. Beside him, Tokoyami inclined his avian head slightly, as though approving of the practical-minded exchange.

Then their conversation was cut short by Iida practically screaming a question before All Might proceeded to explain the exercise for the day.

Basically it was a 2v2 indoor battle scenario, where 2 were heroes while the other 2 were terrorists with a nuclear bomb. The mission is to secure the nuke before the time is over or catch the villains and vice-versa.

Surprisingly, or maybe not, the team allocations followed the original work to a tee, and as Damian had replaced Mineta he became Yaoyorozu's duo for "Team C".

Yaoyorozu blinked after hearing All Might, her posture straightening slightly. Her lips parted in surprise before curving into a small smile. She cast a glance at Damian, who was looking straight ahead with his usual calm indifference, as though nothing could faze him.

Clasping her hands behind her back, she said softly, "It seems we'll be working together, Damian-kun. I… I'm glad."

Damian tilted his head toward her, lips lifting in amusement. "Oh? Already happy with your luck?"

Her cheeks colored faintly, but she held his gaze, speaking with quiet conviction. "You're very capable. From what I've seen, you're calm under pressure and decisive. I think we'll make a strong team."

He chuckled under his breath, crossing his arms on his chest. "Guess I'll just have to make sure I live up to expectations then."

Momo smiled faintly, then turned her attention back to All Might, though her thoughts lingering on unknown topics.

The final pairings finished, and All Might clapped his massive hands together. "FIRST MATCH! TEAM A VERSUS TEAM D!"

Midoriya stiffened immediately as Bakugo's eyes burned into him like twin firecrackers ready to explode. The tension was palpable–Bakugo's lips already curled into a sneer, his shoulders trembling with barely restrained fury.

Midoriya, by contrast, seemed to shrink into himself, his shoulders hunching slightly as though trying to escape the weight of Bakugo's glare.

Damian noticed instantly. With a sigh, he strode over, his cape swaying faintly behind him. Without hesitation, he slapped Midoriya firmly on the back.

"Gah!" Midoriya jumped, wincing at the sting as he whipped around. His eyes widened when he saw Damian standing there, a relaxed smile playing at his lips.

"Why the long face? Don't tell me you're scared of a little sparring match. Is that as far as your ambitions go?"

Midoriya opened his mouth to protest, but Damian didn't give him the chance.

"Calm down," Damian said smoothly, his tone dipping just enough to ground him. "Just remember what we trained. You think that bad-mouthed midget is harder to beat than me? Trust my training, Midoriya. You got this."

Midoriya's breath caught. For a second, the panic in his chest eased, replaced by the faint flicker of determination.

Behind them, Bakugo bristled, hands sparking with violent pops. "Tch! Who the hell are you calling a midget, bastard?!"

Damian didn't even glance his way. He simply turned on his heel, waving casually over his shoulder as he walked off toward Yaoyorozu, the picture of composure.

Bakugo's growl followed him like a storm, but Damian ignored it, only thinking about how the scenario will play out now that Midoriya can put up a semblance of a fight, unlike the one from the original timeline.

Then his enhanced hearing picked up a last murmur from Midoriya that almost made him lose his footing. "But Kacchan is the same height as me."

And though he had the decency to contain it, Eva laughed her ass off at the comment.

Now standing in the control room next to his team partner, Damian watched as things more or less started the same way as he remembered them, Bakugo ditched Iida and went straight to find his little boyfriend.

They started to have a lover's quarrel like it was intended as Uraraka made her way towards the bomb, but this time Midoriya could put up more of a fight. Using full cowling at 5%, he could dodge, weave attacks and go in and out with more confidence. Though he was still on the back foot, unlike what Damian assumed, Bakugo's overall physique was tougher than what he gave him credit for, it wasn't just his hands that were unusually sturdy due to his quirk.

What's more, after being initially overwhelmed by Midoriya's speed and strength, he adapted a bit and became able to respond to his attacks from time to time, though the environment was against him as Midoriya cleverly made use of the walls to get another advantage for the fight. As the fight went on, everybody was surprised by how strong both the kids were, some chiming in to add their piece like Todoroki or Yaoyorozu, and Damian could've sworn even All Might looked surprised by Midoriya's enhanced control over OFA after just a week of training.

Still, at some point Bakugo lost his shit in rage at not being able to beat Deku and blew up a whole wall off of the building like in the original, making everybody gasp. Damian also realized even with his control over 5% full cowling, Midoriya wouldn't be able to win a 1-on-1 against the current Bakugo, the gap in experience handling their quirks was too much for now, and all things aside, Bakugo was a decently talented fighter, his instincts were no worse than Midoriya's.

'A shame he's so fucking detestable, otherwise I'd almost feel bad for what I'll do.' Sighed Damian while thinking.

[Yeah, almost.] Added Eva, making him chuckle.

Then, both fought for a while longer before full cowling ran out of time, forcing Midoriya to end up using a Detroit Smash towards the ceiling while Uraraka used the resulting debris as a distraction to secure the Nuke, giving them the win. It is worthwhile to add that, while Midoriya ended up using the same desperate move to win, he was able to put up a fight instead of getting bitched around. This also resulted in Bakugo looking like he just saw reality crumble after having lost the match, making Damian laugh at his fragile ego.

After the fight was over and Midoriya was brought to the infirmary, All Might announced Iida as the MVP and asked if anybody knew why, to which Yaoyorozu explained her thoughts in depth as to why, leaving All Might speechless for a second before he awkwardly agreed with her.

Clearing his throat, All Might spoke, now standing in front of the "villain" and "hero" boxes again. "All right everyone, let's change locations and start the second match."

As All Might moved on, announcing the next pair of matches, Damian tapped Momo gently on the shoulder. She turned, startled, and found him smiling faintly.

"You know," Damian said, his tone casual but steady, "I agree with a lot of what you said. But you're wrong about Uraraka's last move."

Momo blinked, caught off guard by both his directness and his choice of words. "…What do you mean, Damian-kun?" she asked, her voice a little more timid than usual.

"For the exercise, it was said the villains had to defend a nuclear bomb, right?"

She nodded slowly, brows drawing together.

Damian continued, his eyes narrowing slightly as if retracing the scenario in his head. "You see, nuclear bombs aren't fragile enough to explode or be damaged by rocks being thrown at practically harmless speeds. Uraraka's attack was reckless because she gambled on Iida not reacting fast enough to intercept her mid-flight–even if he had to take some damage. Also…" he tilted his head, smirking faintly, "if we talk about taking advantage of this being a test, Iida did the same. If that bomb had been a real nuke, there's no way he could've just grabbed it and dashed around with it so easily."

Yaoyorozu stared at him for a moment, lips parting slightly. Then she exhaled softly, her expression shifting into something between curiosity and mild frustration. "I… suppose you're correct. I hadn't considered the technical aspect of the exercise's 'weapon.' I focused only on the rules of the scenario, not the realism of the object itself."

Her gaze softened as she looked at him again, tilting her head. "You think very differently than the rest of us, Damian-kun. Analytical, but from a broader perspective… almost as though you're evaluating more than just the exercise."

Damian shrugged, his golden arm guard catching the monitor room's light. "It's not that deep, really. This might be training, but if we're supposed to be heroes, shouldn't we think beyond the rules of a classroom test?"

Momo lowered her eyes for a second, thoughtful. When she looked back up, there was the faintest smile tugging at her lips. "You're… frustratingly insightful."

Damian grinned at that, clearly taking it as a compliment. "Thanks."

Then the matches proceeded in a similar fashion, without any changes worth noting, of course with the exception of Damian's match. Taking this as an opportunity to train other aspects of himself, he coordinated with Yaoyorozu, she creating big amounts of something akin to sand, though its molecular structure was simpler–more energy efficient she explained–and he manipulated the wind to create something similar to a sand storm throughout the building, making it impossible for the hero team to walk through it without anything to cover their faces with, much less to find them in the allotted time.

Once all the matches were over, All Might congratulated everybody for their efforts before making a run for it, making Damian shake his head at how much All Might pushed himself just to teach a class.

After Aizawa's afternoon class was over, everybody stayed to review their fights, though Todoroki left as soon as the class was over, Bakugo was the same. Surprisingly, Yaoyorozu stayed for a bit to discuss how they could've done things differently and when she received a message, she apologized saying she had to go, not without asking for Damian's number, seeing as he had done the same with a couple other classmates, though her blushing while doing it earned Damian some glares of envy from the boys, making him wince in mental pain. 'Teenagers man,' was all he thought of it.

Then, he felt someone approaching the classroom with the help of his spatial perception, so before Yaoyorozu had left, he said. "Yaoyorozu, wait," making her turn around as he slung his backpack over his shoulder. "I was about to leave too, let me accompany you."

And ignoring the death stares coming from some of the boys, he left with Yaoyorozu. As they walked to the stairs while making small talk, they came across the battered Midoriya with a cast on his right arm.

As their eyes met, Damian waved his hand casually at Midoriya, who jogged up to them, but before him or Yaoyorozu could say anything Damian spoke first, his tone casual. "You look beat up, man."

This made Midoriya flinch for a second as he tried to explain himself, feeling a bit guilty for having lost the 1v1 fight in spite of all the training they've done together. And Damian understood that, so he walked up to the stuttering boy in a cast and spoke with a careless smirk.

"Haha, I know what you're thinking, don't even sweat it, man. You don't owe me any explanations," then he put on his best All Might ear-to-ear smile while grabbing Midoriya by his shoulder before speaking again. "And you did way better than I expected after such little training, good job, Midoriya."

These words left Midoriya speechless for a beat, but after a second of silence passed his face morphed into one of quiet determination, he smiled as he clenched his fist, acknowledging that he had taken a step in the right direction.

But before the bromance moment could turn awkward, Damian spoke again: "Now why don't you go to the classroom? There are people who want to see you there," and before Midoriya could even nod his head, Damian came close enough for only the two of them to hear his words and said with that same kind smile. "Oh, and don't do anything stupid like talking about your quirk carelessly, or I will fucking kill you."

Being caught off guard by the not so friendly warning, Midoriya straightened his back while putting his healthy arm on his side, responding in a formal speech and loud enough to startle Momo: "Y-YES SIR!"

Patting his shoulder one last time, Damian nodded before walking away, and the poor Yaoyorozu who was unable to intervene in their short conversation was again caught off guard by the speed at which things were happening, without thinking too much she gave Midoriya some kind words of encouragement before catching up with Damian.

Once outside Damian walked Momo to the gate of U.A. where a suited up man was waiting next to a black Benz, after saying goodbye to her while ignoring the scrutinizing gaze of what he assumed was a bodyguard, he turned around as their car drove off to see Bakugo walking in a gloomy daze. They had bypassed him on the way out as the boy was moving at a snail's pace, some might say because he was still shocked about losing to Midoriya, others might mention the plot, Damian would say it was a boyfriend's intuition. And sure enough, Damian saw Midoriya running out of the school entrance doors talking about some 'Katcchan, wait!' But Damian was having none of this high school drama so he turned while doing a last 'kind' gesture to remind Midoriya of his words, he walked away.

"As the number of exposed politicians around the globe keeps increasing while the culprit behind these findings remains uncaught, the unrest of people grows while an increasing number of manifestations asking for answers from each local government has been on the rise. At this stage, people wonder 'What are heroes doing?' Letting this corruption go unchecked…"

Relaxing on his couch after a good bath, Damian was checking on the news while digging up information on the Shie Hassaikai, which he found soon enough, as while he didn't exactly remember where they were based, he had enough contextual clues to track them down. Though tracking their operations proved unusually difficult, it's like they digitally barely existed.

'Tsk. Not even in an alternate reality do old fashioned japanese folk let go of their love for analog paperwork,' he complained mentally while analyzing anything he could find. 'At least I already know where to go.'

[When are we going?] Asked Eva, who has been restless since Damian spoke about the situation with Eri.

'Soon,' said Damian with an eerie tone to his voice. 'I want to kill them as much as you do, but now is not the time. We need to wait until most of them are reunited so we can catch them all at once.'

Saying so, Damian synched live camera feeds on a laptop he had originally brought with him, though he couldn't get a clear angle on the yakuza manor itself, it was enough to watch any vehicles moving in and out of the surroundings–which in turn was enough to track down the people riding those.

Still, just to be sure, he would pay them a nightly visit to install some extra cameras around the compound. For now though, he resumed his training on the mystical arts manipulation, which had gotten some fresh ideas after seeing some of the quirks in class 1-A in action.

Two days have gone by as Damian's progress on all fronts remained steady and on a curious note, even though his home world had room for way crazier technology, it seemed like this world had way better publicly available tools to design anything, including games like the ones Damian was making.

Though it made sense when you thought about it, since most advanced technology is hoarded either by selfish geniuses like Reed and Stark, or kept under thigh control by imperialistic apparatuses like Wakanda or S.H.I.E.L.D., which reminded Damian again that no matter how nice the ideals behind each hero was, they were still originally 'written' by people whose worldviews were profoundly warped by living in the most imperialistic country of his previous world, though the Marvel version of the U.S. didn't fall too far behind the original if you asked him.

Suddenly, he was brought out of his inner ramblings by the voice of the girl next to him. "What a vulgar conversation."

Looking around, he again felt marveled at how uncanny it was to see dialogues that happened inside a screen repeat themselves in real life, making him chuckle wryly. Then he heard Eraser speak to the whole class.

"We're here. Stop messing around," which in turn elicited a "Yes, sir!" from the students.

Being the last to get off as he was seated at the back, Damian was soon greeted with the awe of his classmates at seeing a person with what looked like a space suit designed by a mangaka.

"Everyone, I have been waiting for you." Said the heroine called Thirteen.

As some expressed their love for her as a hero while others gasped in awe, Damian couldn't help but recall a certain video with the face reveal of this particular hero. 'She's strong, a true hero and supposed to be pretty on top of that, truly god has his favourites.' He thought while shaking his head.

[Says you.] Scoffed Eva.

Ignoring her comment, Damian got in tune with everybody, showing proper decorum for a respectable senior. "We look forward to working with you!"

Entering the huge domed building, Damian had to admit Nezu was not afraid of splurging when it came to training students, let alone the recreations of natural disasters/accident scenarios, this dome alone must have cost a fortune of its own.

"Wow, it looks like the USJ!" Exclaimed Kirishima in awe.

"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, etc. it's a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters," Said Thirteen while dramatically extending her hands as she spoke. "It's called the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint', or 'USJ' for short."

As everyone thought 'It really is the USJ,' Aizawa walked up to Thirteen and asked about All Might in a voice only the two of them could hear, or so he thought as Damian had no problem hearing their voices as he had already entered 100% mode the moment he stepped in.

After finishing their talk, Aizawa spoke again in a normal tone. "It can't be helped. Shall we begin?"

"Let's see… before we begin, let me say one thing… or two, or three… or four… five… six, seven(say that again)..."

"Everyone, I'm sure you are aware of my quirk, Black Hole."

"You've been able to use that quirk to save a lot of people from all kinds of disasters, right?" Added Midoriya while Uraraka nodded like a chicken pecking at grains.

"Yes, but this is a power that can kill easily," said Thirteen, making some people flinch at the unexpected answer. "Some of you have quirks like that too, right?"

Seeing the students react to her words, she continued. "In a superhuman society, personal Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated, so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance. However, please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step."

And with those words, even Damian was made to reflect. No, especially because it was Damian, he had to reflect on her words seriously, as his powers had the same potential for creating good outcomes as it did for creating disastrous ones.

Leaving his thoughts aside, he concentrated on her again, this time with a bit of appreciation in his gaze. "...This class is a fresh start. You shall learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You do not have powers so you can harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have power in order to help others. That is all. Thank you for listening." Said Thirteen, ending her serious speech with a funny bow.

And in kind, everyone applauded her while shouting words of approval.

Taking advantage of the high morale, Aizawa spoke again. "All right, then first-" but he was cut off by a black out on the lights lining the dome.

At the same time, a purplish black fog materialized in front of the fountain in the middle of the facility and as it expanded, a hand and the face of a maniacal freak covered in white hands could be seen clearly by Damian's enhanced sight.

With the practiced ease of a professional, Aizawa entered hero mode immediately. "Gather together and don't move! Thirteen, protect the students!"

Not understanding what was going on, the whole class looked confused, but then Kirishima asked while looking at the gate that now expanded enough to be seen by everybody. "What's that?"

Seeing a bunch of people walk out of the dark purple mist, he spoke in a confused manner, the severity of it all still not processing for them. "Is this like the entrance exam where the lesson's already started?"

As everybody tried to take a step forward to see more clearly, Eraser barked his orders again while putting his goggles on. "Don't move! Those are villains!"

This time his words really seemed to have taken effect as everybody flinched, becoming flustered at the sight of real life villains.

"Thirteen and Eraser Head, huh?"

On the other side, Kurogiri spoke while looking at the heroes. "The teacher's schedule we received the other day said that All Might was supposed to be here."

"...Where is he?" Spoke the eerily looking man with hand accessories. "I went through the trouble of bringing this whole crowd, too… All Might… The Symbol of Peace… I can't believe he's not here."

"I wonder if he'll come if we kill some kids?" Tilting his head to the side he spoke again, his tone dissonant with his words, as though he was talking about the weather and not about killing children.
