The walls of the pack house felt like they were closing in on me. The weight of everything that had happened over the past few days,Stella's betrayal, the rogue attacks, Paul's warnings, and the ever-looming threat against me,left me feeling suffocated. I could barely catch my breath.

I needed space. I needed air.

Without even thinking, I slipped out of the back door and into the woods surrounding the pack house. The cool evening breeze greeted me like an old friend, the scent of pine and earth filling my lungs. The trees were tall and dense, casting shadows on the forest floor as I walked deeper into the wilderness, away from the noise and chaos. I didn't know where I was going, but I didn't care. I just needed to be alone.
