Luis was quite curious about the ivory tower, so Maria directly took Luis's hand and started walking around.
Luis joked, "Holding hands like this, aren't you afraid your boyfriend would get angry if he saw?"
"Pfft, this lady is single and alone right now."
"That ex-boyfriend was a total scumbag, we broke up ages ago. Wherever he's disappeared to now, I don't know and frankly, it's more peaceful this way."
There wasn't much worth seeing in the new campus of the sports school; it was just one sports venue after another, with very little in terms of scenery or cultural atmosphere.
