Chapter 57 - The Hole

Kim Young Stares at me.

Kang-Dae is on his knees.

Seo-Hwan didn't blush.

A-09 has disappeared.

I look at my watch.

It's flashing.

[ACTIVE LINK]

That's all.

I hold the cube in my hand and put it back in my pocket.

Alright .

– Hum~ Seo-Hwan launches.

Analyzing me with his eyes

– What do you plan to do now, Ki-Moon?

I don't answer and look away.

"How do we do it?" said Kang-Dae.

– I don't know. Murmured I

I slowly raise my eyes towards him.

He looked at me in turn and held out his hand to help him.

– hang on

Then I pull him towards me.

The tremors decreased and the other symptoms began to stabilize again.

Kim Young is not speaking.

She looked at me expressionlessly, sweat dripping down her face.

I smile.

I look around me.

The screens are still there, floating.

Our faces are frozen there.

Like death photos.

The players were crowding around me

– That's how it's going to play out, I said.

"You're naive," Kang sighed, walking away.

Seo-Hwan Moved forward .

– a small loss for the survival of all.

– But we have no choice.

Kang-Dae clenches his fists.

– Ki-Moon…sorry

And he steps back a little, just behind the group, and turns around.

- you too .

I glance at my watch.

I see it clearly and slip the second one into my underwear, which I then cover.

I look away.

I was completely covered

– Damn it, it's inevitable, I said.

And I'm squeezing the cube tightly

"Now," ordered Kim Young, pale.

A low rumble went through my throat.

The first knife blow, undoubtedly the hardest, almost made me drop the cube.

A second blow in the back,

Something more discreet.

A tear all the way up to the hip.

With just one movement, my legs were already trembling under my weight and blood was flowing from my nose.

– Ha!, collapsing, my vision blurred

Seo-Hwan catches up to me, stares into my eyes.

And delivered the final blow

– hein ?

Nothing happens.

A slight smile appeared on my lips

Then Seo Hwan slipped into my hand

– Hein… ?

He looks at his hand.

You sang, yes you sang

"Seo?" said Kim Young, moving closer.

– what's happening

He looks up at me.

– Ki-Moon…

– ki-moon….?

I say nothing and let it flow and collapse.

A trickle of blood is running from his mouth.

Kim Young backs down.

I remained motionless for a moment and followed Seo Hwan.

The screens are changing.

A name disappears.

KI-MOON : DELETED

– already, I murmured.

My voice is trembling.

Collapsed beside him,

Seo-Hwan looks at me like I'm a monster.

– the bastard…

he murmured, clutching his abdominal wound

Kim Young looks at his watch.

Her eyes widened.

She moved closer and bent down beside me, removed my watch, and searched my pockets, retrieving the cube in the process.

"We need one more..." she sighed.

I look at Seo-Hwan, my consciousness wavering, and let myself go.

[END OF GAME, FAILURE TO SET UP THE NEXT CHALLENGE]

The ground is shaking.

My body slips and is carried away.

Silence.

Kim Young was staring only at his screen.

She wasted no time and moved away from the group.

The screens go dark.

The area is calm.

Two died.

The game continues.

I let myself get carried away

I lower my eyes.

My hands are trembling.

No one must know.

Not yet.
