How Audrey made it back to the castle she'd never be able to tell.
But one second she was surrounded by curious Alphas of territories, her entire attention fixated on the star of her nightmares.
When she finally came around, Tristan was leading her through the entranceway of the castle. Deckard wasn't far behind.
Once in their wing of the castle, he helped her into a couch.
"Are you alright, Audrey?"
She nodded, looking around. Somehow the room felt almost on same level with the harshness of the cave. Foreign and discomforting.
Her voice was hoarse. Had she been crying?
"What happened?"
Tristan grimaced.
"I'm a little confused myself. You totally fazed out on us."
He glanced at Deckard for clarification.
"Am I saying it right?"
Deckard stood with his arms folded across his chest, face thoughtful.
"You called him a monster."
Audrey racked her brain but she couldn't recall something like that.
"I did?"
Tristan helped her out.
