Eighteen years ago, the Blood Creek Pack was attacked by a neighboring pack and lost half the lives of its members.

 

Xavier, the current Alpha of Blood Creek Pack, was six years old when this attack took place. He lost his family and close friends along with his best friend, Daphne, who he thinks died in the attack.

 

What happened when he goes back for revenge and finds out that Daphne is still very much alive? Also, she happens to be his mate and he just killed her adoptive father.

After the short dance with Xavier, I felt the need to step outside. I needed a breath of fresh air that moment and besides, I also wanted to use the restroom. 


Walking out of the building that was filled with so many guests, I could finally breathe a breath of fresh air. 


The sky was very bright that night and the stars were twinkling brightly in their numbers that moment. The moon in the sky was a crescent one but there were signs of the full moon coming out soon.


The land that surrounded the building was quite vast and one could get missing if care wasn't taken.


Heading straight to the path that led to the restroom, I saw two ladies standing by the doorway. They seemed to be lost in their discussion when I walked past them.


I pushed the door open to wash my hands.
