Xavier's POV
I helped Zara into the vehicle after the pack's nurses were sent to check on her injured feet.
I also made sure to see to it that the bastard who dared to touch her got punished.
"I'll be back shortly." I told Zara who sat in the vehicle and was watching me closely.
"Are you going back to him? Please, don't cause any more scenes, let's just leave quietly." She pleaded and I could see the fear in her eyes.
The fear of her knowing that somehow in the depths of my heart, I relished the thought of tearing him into pieces, limb by limb for daring to cause her pain.
"I won't go to him." I assured her before shutting the door gently after her.
She nodded and watched me walk towards the Alpha who had started to head in my direction.
"I'm really sorry that this happened to your date Alpha Xavier." Alpha Benson, our host, pleaded with me.
