Chapter 445 - Chapter 445 : Unexpected Exclusive Eye Technique

It wasn't until the moment he stepped back into Konoha that Uchiha Hikaru finally remembered something he had overlooked. When he awakened the Rinnegan, his attention had been completely consumed by the mutated and evolved Susanoo—so much so that he failed to notice something equally important.

His Rinnegan's unique pupil technique had quietly awakened.

Hikaru still found this technique difficult to evaluate. Its name was absurdly long, and it could only be used on himself—like a Schrödinger's buff, unpredictable and unstable. Collectively, it was called The Sixty-Four Hexagrams.

Of course, it had nothing to do with the Hyuga Clan's Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. In his two previous lives, Hikaru had read about such things—but this was something entirely different.

The ability was divided into eight base chakra patterns—Heaven, Earth, Water, Mountain, Thunder, Wind, Fire, and Marsh—which combined into sixty-four variations. Each represented a different effect. Some strengthened him; others weakened him.

The most difficult part was that the effect was completely random, leaving Hikaru with no control. Like spinning a roulette wheel, it felt more like the gamble of a desperate man than a technique.

For example—if Hikaru fought Obito of the Six Paths, the fight would normally be 50-50. But if the technique activated the Heaven hexagram, the strongest one, his chakra and abilities would skyrocket with no side effects. He could tear Obito apart within minutes.

But if he drew the worst hexagram, it could cause chakra instability mid-battle, giving Obito an opening to shatter him.

Still, the hexagrams were never without countermeasures.

No matter how dangerous the effect was, there was always a way through it.

For example, the Wind-over-Heaven hexagram caused an initial backlash—rapid chakra loss and temporary suppression of strength. But if he survived the weakened phase and prolonged the fight, it would reverse violently, unleashing power beyond his limits and letting him defeat Obito instantly.

In essence, every hexagram was still a form of amplification—but some required suffering first. A surge born from the edge of death.

Despite the unpredictability, Hikaru was satisfied.

This pupil technique had an extremely high ceiling, and environmental factors meant that even the same hexagram could behave differently depending on the situation.

Thinking about this, he strolled leisurely through the village. Villagers on the street greeted him warmly as he passed. He lifted his hand in response like an old village cadre, a teacher acknowledging students in a hallway.

It was evening when Uchiha Hikaru finally returned home—and took Uchiha Saya to the Senju Compound for dinner.

Senju Compound – Dinner

At the table, both Hashirama and Mito immediately sensed the dramatic increase in Hikaru's chakra compared to a month and a half earlier.

Especially Mito—her natural Uzumaki sensory ability allowed her to feel the difference in his eyes.

If his pupil power before had been like a young lion growing its fangs, then now he was a fully grown lion king, changed beyond recognition.

Even Uchiha Saya, whose perception wasn't as strong, could feel something completely different about him.

"Hikaru, it seems your strength has improved a great deal in the last month and a half," Hashirama said, chewing on barbecue. He couldn't taste it—but he could still feel the texture.

Hikaru shoveled food into his mouth in large bites, speaking unclearly.

"Yeah… I've made a lot of progress recently."

"Obito and Black Zetsu are still hiding in the shadows. Who knows what they're planning."

"It's better to be prepared."

He lifted his cup and drained the cold orange juice, sighing with relief before glancing at Mito.

"Grandma Mito's cooking is still the best."

Mito smiled warmly.

"You always know how to talk sweetly."

"It's nothing special. Just ordinary ingredients."

"You've been training too hard. Don't push yourself like this."

"You don't need to handle everything alone. It makes us feel like outsiders."

She took his bowl and filled it again, adding a pile of dishes.

Even Saya nudged Hikaru with her elbow.

"Grandma Mito is right (。•́︿•̀。)."

"Lord Hikaru always isolates himself."

"Sister Tsunade told me you went alone when you searched for the Dragon Vein."

"And you trained alone again this time."

Hikaru went silent, awkwardly smiling.

"Well, training is training. If you get too comfortable, it's not training anymore."

"I'm just an ordinary person. Too comfortable and I'd never get up again."

At that moment, Tsunade and Shizune came home from work. As soon as the door opened, they saw everyone happily eating.

Tsunade strode in, not even bothering to change her shoes. She kicked off her high-heeled sandals, bare feet hitting the floor, red nail polish flashing under the light. She dropped into the chair at Hikaru's left, snatched his bowl and chopsticks, and began devouring food.

"You heartless bastard," she growled between bites. "I actually believed you and came back to be Hokage."

"One and a half months. Do you know how I survived it?"

"You dumped everything from the Ninja Association onto me and Shizune—even though you're the president!"
