The weekend passed quickly as Shinra spent his time focused on his latest hobby: oil painting. Despite being a student and having peak human talent, his interests were often passing with his daily life. He might suddenly decide to pick up painting after catching a glimpse of an art show poster. Or he might just decide that it was time to start learning an obscure instrument, because he enjoyed its sound for a moment while getting coffee one morning.
As he placed his documents bag over his shoulder, he took one last glance at his apartment behind him to make sure he wasn't forgetting anything. The entire apartment was clean and well organized, while it focused around grey colors and blends of his own design. Small elephant decorations adorned the counter by his kitchen and the his newly painted oil painting he called [Brighten] was hanging on the wall. It was a picture of the sunrise drowning under water, with humans standing upside down underwater.
He hummed once before leaving and locking the door behind him.
*Vrroom*
His sports car engine roared as he drove out of the parking garage and headed towards the school grounds. Today was supposed to welcome 3 new first years, with one of them being Gojo Satoru.
*Fwoom*
The engine died down as his car pulled into a parking space just outside the mountain gate entrance to the school. Shrina stepped out of the card and leisurely walked into the barrier and up the stairs. He noticed some occasional staff members who would glance at him when they thought he wasn't looking.
'Fear, huh.'
That's right. These extra 'staff' were placed directly by the higher ups in the building where he worked. Openly keeping an eye on him, the soon to be 'special grade'. After all, with the last stunt he pull on the higher ups council member Tsukishiro Jūbei. It was only after they realized how terrifying his technique could be from his consequences that they finally settled down and stopped trying to use him as a healing tool. As one of the few jujutsu sorcerer's who can use RCT and the talent to apply it to others, they had wanted to lock him up for their own use, much like another girl they had.
It was only after, Tsukishiro, the head advocate for this idea contracted severe paranoia due to his cursed technique and was permanently hospitalized in a mental institute that they took him seriously. Perhaps they realized, that he was already beyond their control and it would just be better to compromise.
"Ah, it's sad for them." Shinra glanced at the recruited common people with no cursed technique being forced to act as groundskeepers for a school of insane sorcerers.
Just because these people had more cursed energy than normal they had been semi-drafted into jujutsu society by the bureaucracy. It's much easier to threaten someone as a wanted cursed user if they didn't obey their demands. Not to mention, they were weak enough that they couldn't do anything about it.
Born strong enough beyond ordinary people, but weak enough to not have a cursed technique.
*Sigh*
'Maybe things will change with the Gojo heir? Everyone always says his very birth changed the world. But it's obviously a scheme to kill him with praise.' Shinra thought to himself.
*Squeak*
The door hinges on the entrance to his 'office' were old enough to squeak loudly each time he entered.
Shinra paused and just stared at the squeaky door hinges for almost a minute straight.
"Hello, Shinra."
His attention shifted from the annoying door hinges and glanced at the new comer.
Teacher Yaga.
Yaga's face was blank, but he couldn't hide the tension in the corners of his eyes from Shinra. Not to mention the stress bar above his head was a quarter full. He could basically guess his thoughts off this.
"Teacher, its good to see you."
"Hmm."
Silence passed between them and some sweat formed on Yaga's forehead. His eye twitched slightly, and he turned to leave after a minute of silence.
"Teacher, I'm going to replace the door hinges of my future office."
"Hmm, go ahead."
Shinra watched Yaga walk away in a slightly hurried manner.
'Perhaps, he wanted to ask me something. But... am I really that intimidating?' He touched his face unconsciously.
Of course, Shinra didn't know that he really was intimidating. Especially for a teacher who was supposed to be the one teaching him, but he was already a college graduate in both medical and psychology. A monster with immense talent that would scare any teacher away the moment they saw him in order to save what little pride they had as an adult and an instructor.
*Click*
He closed his office door behind him and began to organize his desk. Most of the documents he was carrying were actually references to cursed energies effect on the human body. He had some slight interest in the differences from a sorcerer and a normal human being. After all, people seem to treat them as the same species, but their natural abilities are completely different. He finished organizing his documents for reviewing the next stages in his research document and he planned to look at this as soon as he got here, but now... now he was too focused on those annoying hinges to focus on that.
He opened up his laptop computer and searched up welding techniques and hinge designs. Usually when he was obsessed with something like this, he liked to start from scratch and completely build something new to replace the old one.
