Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Clash of Mangekyō

Chapter 2: Clash of Mangekyō

On the outskirts of the Uchiha district, shadows flickered between rooftops. The night air was tense, filled with the scent of smoke, blood, and burning chakra.

In the silence, Uchiha Obito stood alone atop a water tower, his orange mask reflecting the moonlight. He gazed toward the heart of the Uchiha clan compound, his Sharingan glowing faintly behind the spiral eyehole.

His mission was complete. Everyone who needed to die had already fallen by his hand—or by Itachi's.

Now, all that remained was to rendezvous and vanish into the night.

But... Itachi hadn't arrived.

Obito frowned.

That wasn't like him.

Then—

Boom!

The sky lit up with an enormous explosion of chakra. Two titanic figures clashed amidst crumbling buildings, their chakra flaring like gods waging war.

"What the hell is that?" Obito muttered, eyes narrowing. "Susanoo…?"

No. That couldn't be right.

Only Uchiha Itachi should have had the Mangekyō Sharingan. His surveillance of the clan was thorough. No one else had shown the signs. No one else had the eyes.

And yet—there they were. Two Susanoo. One crimson. One azure. Fighting like monsters.

Obito's expression darkened, and without hesitation, he warped into the battlefield.

---

In the ruins of the Uchiha compound, two giants traded blows that split the earth.

BOOM!

A powerful punch from Raizen's blue Susanoo slammed directly into Itachi's skeletal crimson giant, sending shockwaves through the surroundings. Buildings crumbled. The very ground fractured.

CRACK!

Fissures ran across Itachi's Susanoo. He grit his teeth.

Across from him, Uchiha Raizen stood tall within his own Susanoo, now completely covered in armor that looked forged from molten rock and moonlight. Pale blue flames of chakra radiated off him.

"Die! OORAORAORA!!!" Raizen bellowed, fists raining down in a storm.

Each punch was faster. Heavier. Hungrier.

The air screamed as it was sucked into a vacuum around his assault, the sheer pressure distorting space.

"OORAORAORA!!!"

Each blow was backed by surging chakra and eye power, striking with such intensity that time seemed to tremble.

CRACK!!

Itachi's Susanoo faltered again. Shards flew like broken glass.

"No... I won't fall here...!" Itachi growled.

He stared into Raizen's raging form. Memories flashed before his eyes—his parents' final moments, Sasuke's terrified face, the elders of Konoha giving their silent nod, and the burden he'd chosen to carry.

For peace. For Konoha. For Sasuke.

"I've sacrificed everything!" he roared. "I carry my father's wishes, my mother's love, the future of my brother, the hope of the village!"

"I will NOT be defeated!!!"

BOOOOM!

In a surge of desperation and will, Itachi's eye power exploded.

His shattered Susanoo regenerated with terrifying speed, reforging itself into a sturdier, more complete form. It burned crimson, eyes glowing with renewed fury.

---

But Raizen wasn't done.

"Hahaha… That's cute," he sneered. "Let's see how long it lasts!"

"Twelvefold Chakra Drive—ACTIVATE!!!"

Raizen's chakra compressed into his fist like a black hole, pulsing with destructive force.

"DIE, UCHIHA ITACHI!!"

He struck. One titanic blow.

CRRRRRAAACKKK!!

Itachi's newly formed Susanoo withstood the punch for only a moment—then cracks spiderwebbed across it like glass hit by a hammer.

"No... no... this can't be!" Itachi cried out, pain surging through his bones.

BOOM!!!

The giant exploded. The force sent Itachi flying like a rag doll, crashing through stone and debris, skidding to a stop in a pile of ruins. Blood spurted from his lips.

"Impossible..." he gasped, half his ribs crushed. "I gave it everything… How is he so powerful…?"

He couldn't move.

His chakra was nearly drained.

His bones were broken.

And Raizen… was still standing.

---

Across the battlefield, Raizen advanced, his chakra blazing with a vengeance.

"Time to finish this."

He raised his massive Susanoo fist—one final blow to erase Itachi from existence.

---

"STOP!"

A swirling vortex opened beside them.

Uchiha Obito finally appeared.

His eyes widened as he took in the scene—Itachi, battered and broken, and Raizen, towering over him with an energy he didn't recognize.

Without hesitation, Obito raised his hand.

"Wood Style: Hell's Chaos!"

Thorned trees erupted from the ground, twisting upward like serpents, aiming to bind Raizen's Susanoo.

But Raizen didn't even flinch.

"YOU THINK THIS CAN STOP ME?!"

He flexed. The trees shattered.

Raizen charged again.

---

"Damn it!" Obito hissed. "This is worse than I thought..."

But the delay was enough.

Itachi's bloodied eyes snapped open. His Sharingan spun violently.

"Tsukuyomi!"

Raizen froze mid-strike.

His body stopped. His mind was pulled inward.

In the illusion world, time warped. Raizen found himself suspended in a crimson sea of moons and mirrors.

---

Back in reality, Itachi gasped, barely conscious.

"NOW, OBITO!" he shouted.

Obito didn't hesitate. He warped forward, creating a shadow clone to pick up Itachi's broken body.

His real body blurred into motion, phasing through Raizen's giant Susanoo like smoke.
