Jack is constantly thinking about the encounter he had with that man in fog and starts second guessing everything. Did I hallucinate or was there really a man inside that dense fog who saved me. "Is this a bad dream or what" to guess there is some place like this where people go when they're dead. That's when it hit jack, after coming to nowhere land his urges have been completely calm and the only time he thought about the blood and murders was when he first entered in nowhere land, sitting on his bed jack tries to understand who that man was and why he warned jack about silies and what does he know about silies that no one knows as jack mind was (processing his thought )he remembers the time when silies calls for elai and elai having that feared expression in his face. Jack is frustrated (lies on his bed). Man I really don't know what's going on here, what's real and what's fake in this place, where jack came from nowhere and now the things that he never wanted and was fighting day and night, the thing that he thought would kill him was nowhere to be found, the once bloodlusted Jack was probably gone away for forever and he still was not happy so what does he seek in his life. Jack (closes his eyes) trying to remember about the night he went to sleep and got in this deserted place of people riding in horses and killing souls with their guns and sword but his brain remembers nothing. Jack (swings his leg in the air) gets up goes to the window and sees lea training and elai watching her as jack's watches at elai thinking if there is something hidden in this young boy's eyes like some kind of pain all of a sudden a bullet comes through the window missing jack slightly
(What was that) lea shouts at jack what are you peeping like a perv and not coming for training well i was not peeping at you so don't get a wrong idea, Lea you know I missed that bullet in purpose right, talk big and I will make a hole in your head next time ok ok sorry I was just joking alright if you have time for joking around then come down for training and be useful to us. I am tired I just came out of the fog give me a day to rest jack shouts at lea and closes the window, what a loser we should have just killed him when we first met him. Man what's the problem with that girl always ordering me around like I am her servant, come fast for training, do this do that I can't wait to get away from here why can't I die for what regular people may have experienced death was supposed to be the time where you feel freedom and be happy, That's when jack gets an idea the man he met in the fog he should have an answer he might know something about how one can get away from here but remembering his experience in that place makes jack wanna puke.
Late night in nowhere land jack wakes up in the middle of night what's this noise coming from outside jack peeps out from his window glass(it's selies and he is holding Elai's hand and pulling him in the burned part of the town watching this scene from his eyes make jack sure that what that man talked about might be true their is something wrong going on with selies and elai and fears that elai is not safe. The sun rises in the dustbridge and makes the red and orange landscape shine you might say dustbridge was glowing but jack he couldn't sleep after what he saw last night, jack thinking whether he should tell what he saw to lea but he knows she would not believe him and kill him if he ever talks bad about selies and he can't talk to the town folks either or else they too will hung him down if he says anything bad as jack is only alive because of selies without him telling this people to leave me alone jack wouldn't be alive right now, (in a dilemma) where selies is his life force that's keeping me alive if not him then the town people wouldn't hesitate before killing him and not wanting to ignore what he saw jack can't decide, ignore it and a young boy lifes is in risk and talk about it and it would be his. Jack goes looking for lea and tries to ask about her about elai but he can't find her anywhere, Elai standing at the place where he always looks at jack and lea train is lost in his thoughts like something is eating him from inside his eyes are puffed out like he just ended his crying that face, makes jack can't ignore it he knows it all too well about the feeling of not being heard and thinking that he is all alone in this world. Jack calls for elai's name elai startle like he just got woken from his dream elai gets scared of jack and he runs away from the field leaving jack standing.
Don't get the wrong idea he ran because you are new to him, lea arrives behind jack, he just don't talk to new people's but I am not new its already been weeks since I came here well maybe he is afraid of you. Why would he be afraid of me? because of your face he must think you are scary even I will be scared to see you behind me calling me all of a sudden, what a joke! I wish there was someone to talk to me you know, why wouldn't anybody accept me in here, you know the reason behind it "that's because I am a gray soul" people here just don't know much about it so they are just being in safe side, well it's not my fault that my soul was gray and I have not done anything bad to anyone ever since I have arrived and still people are not sure. Well you did try to kill me on the first day and how many times have I already said sorry to you. You just have to wait and see and they will sure get the hang of you. why are you saying this kind stuff to me don't you hate me too jack asks lea well hate is a big word I don't hate you, if I hated you why would I talk to you, I know you are not a bad person and they will know too but ever since that man people have been on alert and just don't trust easily. Hey can I ask you something? What happened in that part of the town and who is that person you guys refer about???
