Chapter 193 - 183

Chapter 183

As Tier Harribel finished speaking, a massive waterfall surged forth. Its shape twisted unnaturally, resembling dual forms pressing inward from both sides. The cascading flow spread across dozens of meters, pushing to entrap Yuta between two collapsing walls of water.

Facing Harribel's assault, Yuta raised his hand calmly and spoke.

"Bakudō #1: Sai."

In an instant, Harribel's arms were forced behind her back by invisible spiritual pressure. Yuta followed with another gesture, summoning a barrier of light that sealed her inside its walls.

"Just stay quiet for a while," he said in a level voice.

Harribel attempted to respond, but Yuta extended his hand again. Chains manifested from every side of the barrier, binding tightly to her arms and legs. To silence her further, a strip of reishi formed across her mouth.

Though she struggled, the seal held firm, the barrier remaining steady against her considerable strength. Harribel's eyes narrowed in disbelief.

She was an Arrancar of Vasto Lorde origin and had only grown stronger since her evolution. With Resurrección, her power had reached an even greater level. Yet the boy before her had restrained her effortlessly with the simplest forms of Kidō. Her strength could not tear free of his bindings, while his spellwork flowed out casually, as if invoked with thought alone.

The precision of his control implied a mastery far beyond ordinary use. The realization unsettled her.

Coyote Starrk, standing nearby, observed carefully. His gaze sharpened as he compared what he had witnessed. Shunsui Kyōraku's style revolved clearly on his dual-blade technique, but the boy in front of him moved with layered Kidō usage and seamless binding arts. The depth of his knowledge and versatility was difficult to predict.

The memory of the earlier "Garganta" Yuta had used still lingered in Starrk's mind. That ability had always belonged solely to Hollows, a spatial tear unique to their nature. The fact that a Shinigami could replicate it raised questions that unsettled even him. If Yuta could reproduce Garganta, could he also replicate Cero? The idea sounded excessive, but the thought wouldn't leave him.

Yuta turned his head slightly toward Starrk.

"Mr. Starrk, would you refrain from interfering for now?"

Starrk tilted his head slightly and replied without resistance. "No problem. I'm not the type to get too serious anyway." He had originally intended to exchange casual blows with Kyōraku, but he had quickly realized that the captain was fighting in earnest. Watching Yuta now confirmed that nothing here was turning out as simple as he had expected.

"Starrk! Why are you just listening to him?" Lilynette shouted angrily, her small frame tense with frustration. "He even stole my sword! We can't just let him get away with this."

She rushed forward, trying repeatedly to reclaim her weapon from Yuta's hand, but each time he pushed her away before she could reach him. Forced into awkward rolls upon landing, she steadied herself on her hands and feet before glaring back at him. A beam of Cero condensed at the corner of her eyes and fired directly toward Yuta.

"Hmph! Just because your arms are longer doesn't mean anything. I can still hit you with Cero!"

The crimson energy drowned Yuta for a moment, and Lilynette smirked at the sight of her own attack engulfing him. Yet her pride dissolved quickly when Yuta raised his hand and brushed aside the swarm of energy with a wave. The Cero disintegrated instantly into harmless fragments of light that scattered into the air.

"Your Cero is too weak, Lilynette," Yuta said while casually tossing her weapon in his palm.

For him, who had faced the power of a Cero Oscuras, the standard Cero carried little weight.

Lilynette's eyes widened, and her voice rose in disbelief and anger. "Give me back my sword! And don't call me 'little Lily'-I'm already an adult!"

Every time she lunged for her blade, Yuta pushed her back with minimal force, sending her tumbling away again and again. She landed with flexible movements, her body bridging from head to feet with startling agility, but her repeated falls left her dizzy and disoriented. Her vision wavered until she struggled to focus on his form directly at all.

Frustration welled in her voice as she shouted, "Damn it, give it back!" Tears glinted faintly at the edges of her eyes.

Yuta finally raised a hand. "Bakudō #1: Sai. I'll return it."

Light wrapped tightly once more, forcing Lilynette's hands behind her back and binding her legs together. He tossed her sword ahead of her on the ground.

Helpless, Lilynette dragged herself forward on her stomach like a caterpillar as she glared at him. "You'll regret playing with me like this! I won't forgive you! Hey, Starrk, pick it up for me!"

Starrk didn't move, his eyes already shifting to the next moment unfolding across the battlefield.

Baraggan Louisenbairn stepped forward, his voice low and harsh. "Hehehe... is the little game finished? Then it is time for you to die." His hand rose slowly. "Respira."

Black mists of his ability poured outward like rotting air itself. Wherever the cloud passed, stone and steel decayed into dust as if aged thousands of years in seconds.

Even Starrk's gaze tightened slightly at this. As Primera Espada, he rarely gave outward signs of concern, but he knew too well what Baraggan's ability meant. In a direct clash of pure attributes, few could compare to the inevitability of Respira.

The battlefield ground crumbled under the slow advance of Baraggan's power as Yuta faced the encroaching black air directly.
