An immense amount of spiritual pressure erupted from Aizen's body. The space where he stood became brilliantly illuminated, like a balloon with its outlet blocked and the pressure inside rapidly expanding. The surge of reiatsu rose like a violent hurricane, shaking the air and sweeping across the battlefield, lifting the clothes of Urahara Kisuke, Kurosaki Ichigo, and the others.
Urahara Kisuke pressed down on the brim of his hat. "If it were so easy to deal with Aizen, that would have been nice."
From inside the cascade of reiatsu, Aizen emerged fully covered in the white "evolution shell." This was the second stage of his Hōgyoku evolution, far stronger than before. Even previously, Captain Aizen's strength alone was enough to overwhelm several Espada, the entire Gotei 13, and the Visoreds. With ease, Aizen removed the shackles from his wrists as if plucking fruit from a branch. Urahara Kisuke drew his blade and rushed forward, with Kurosaki Isshin following right behind him. Even with the two of them together, they were still completely outmatched by Aizen.
"Everything you do is meaningless," Aizen said coolly.
"Yeah… really?" A clear, confident female voice echoed above his head.
"Shunkō: Raijin Senkei!"
"What?" For the first time in the battle, Aizen's face betrayed shock. This was an ability outside of his knowledge, one that even his vast intellect had not anticipated.

The skies were clear, and the wind was calm.
Shihōin Yoruichi stood before Yuta, her brow furrowed in doubt. "Matsumoto Rangiku and Rukia have both developed their own Bankai. What about me? My Shunkō feels like it's reached its end. I've already combined Kidō and Hakuda…"
Hideki Yuta shook his head lightly. "No… you're still far from the limit of Shunkō."
"If Shunkō is equivalent to a Shikai release, then you also possess something equal to a Bankai-" he paused and looked directly at her.
"Shunkō: Raijin Senkei."
Yoruichi never forgot that day. If the two of them had not been sparring in the sky, all of southern Rukongai might have been reduced to rubble.

Behind her, lightning manifested as six magatama-shaped nodes rotating in a circular formation. Each spark of thunder that leapt across the ring held crushing destructive potential, able to shatter anything in its path.
Yoruichi released a bolt of lightning several tens of meters thick from her hand, sending it crashing toward Aizen below.
Boom. Boom. Boom.
The impact leveled entire sections of Karakura Town as buildings collapsed into dust within several hundred meters of the strike.
Kurosaki Ichigo's eyes widened. "What is this power?"
Urahara Kisuke tilted his hat down as he watched the destruction. His gaze then shifted sideways, toward Yuta. He knew this ability's refinement bore Yuta's influence.
Kurosaki Isshin darted backward from the shockwave of destruction. "This is insane… that could have hit me!"
Yoruichi herself stood momentarily stunned at her own strength. The dense thunderous reiatsu felt overwhelming. To mortals, thunder was a symbol of heaven's terrifying judgment: impossible to resist and absolute in its destruction. Her Shunkō embodied that unstoppable essence.
Thunder rolled outward in waves, even surging toward where Yuta and the others observed. Lilynette stood directly in the path of the cascading reiatsu, frozen as the wave bore down on her.
Without hesitation, Yuta raised his hand and nullified the incoming pressure before it could touch anyone. Lilynette's gaze flickered up at him and lingered, momentarily struck silent by his calmness as he shielded them.
Yuta turned his eyes back toward the battlefield, analyzing her form. The Raijin Senkei was formidable, a technique embodying the qualities of a level ninety Kidō of the lightning attribute while granting unparalleled offensive power. But unlike Kidō, it required no incantation to release its might. In addition to its destructive bursts, it enhanced Yoruichi's shunpō speed and Hakuda movements to extraordinary levels, creating a flawless combat state.
Coyote Starrk exhaled sharply. "What kind of form is that? It's terrifying."
From within a barrier, Tier Harribel thrashed at the glowing chains restraining her. She had seen her three Fracción nearly swallowed in the tidal wave of thunder and fought desperately to reach them.
Yuta spared her only a glance and snapped his fingers. "Don't struggle. The more you resist, the tighter the chains will bind you. As for your three subordinates-they're safe."
At his command, Apache, Mila Rose, and Sung-Sun were relocated instantly by a spell of teleportation Kidō, appearing behind the barrier where they would no longer be in danger.
