Just four months after her father's death, bade papa was transferred to Bihar. They moved.
In eleventh grade, Lily joined a flying school and started going for coaching classes.
From the outside, she looked like a chill, happy girl. No one could guess the grief she carried inside. She laughed easily, made friends, and hid her pain well.
It was in coaching that she met him — Amrit.
He was one of her instructors, at least ten years older. At first, they were just teacher and student. But soon, he became the only person she could pour her heart out to. With him, she could cry without shame. She could talk about her deepest wounds.
For the first time since her father's death, Lily felt she had someone who stayed.
