Chapter 77 - The Night the Moon Was Taken

When Sylene broke free again, he lunged toward Milton. Blood dripped from his nose; murky green eyes were wild. He roared like a beast ready to drag his enemy down even if it killed him, sending goosebumps through the soldiers and fighters at the scene.

His sharp claws slashed toward the old man's chest—but before anyone could see clearly, the attack was stopped mid-motion. A slash of blood marked Milton's chest, right where his heart had been—but not deep enough to kill.

The old general stumbled back, terrified. On the floor, the boy was held down—solely by General Julien.
