Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1:

**An uncompleted storey building**

"S—save me! Spa–re me!" a faint voice pleaded, blood already spilt over his body, as he crawled on the floor weakly.

"So you want to be spared and still tried to kill me?" a petite lady whose presence spoke danger at that moment. The pistol in her palm gleamed with dark excitement as if it was eager to pop out a bullet into the man's skull.

"Please—I will tell you who sent me! Spare me!" he begged—his voice barely above whisper.

He laid weakly on the floor, his eyes doing the pleading instead of his voice.

"I already know!" a dark smirk appeared on her face. "I am not called Zhenya for nothing!" she declared proudly and before he could say anything, she had already shot him right in his skull.

She gave a faint hiss and rolled the dead body to fall from the four storey building to the ground.

His body parts bursted open—blood flowing like river.

"Another soul added to my collection!" she said with no flicker of emotion.

She brought out her phone and made a call

"Clean it up!" her voice grew more faint as she walked out of sight.

**Back to present**

Zhenya stared into the mirror at her reflection as she couldn't recognize the person staring back at her anymore.

The sharp jawline, short hair and eyes doesn't even try to speak the truth and show their true colours.

"I don't even know who I am anymore." she muttered.

She was now identified as a boy.

An unknown with a new name—Luxury.

Russia was her hiding place.

The disguise? It was already her lifeline!

That was her new identity and she has to play it well!

She sprayed her cologne, grabbed her essentials and took one glance at herself in the mirror with a sigh and walked out of her room.

Romeo was at the dining table and his brows raised when he saw Luxury and gave a warm smile.

"You sure you can keep up with this identity?" he asked, concern etched in his voice.

Luxury rolled her eyes a first response "You know why I am doing this? So yes!" she scoffed and sat down.

Romeo just gave a soft nod. He didn't try to push it.

Romeo had been her family since they were both kids. They had grown up and survived worse together.

Germany was behind them. Russia was for now.

"Eat up! Let me drop you off!" she said, patiently waiting for him to finish eating his food.

**Eagles University, Moscow, Russia**

Luxury's rode into the parking lot—her power bike roaring loudly as it was parked. Students turned. Some curious, some not curious.

She held the straps of her backpack tightly, putting the hoodie over her short black hair, which was damp and packed into a half ponytail.

You are not her today. You are him.

She whispered as a reminder to herself.

Her eyes scanned the building of the university—too intimidating, too elite.

A place her old self would have dreamt of and loved to be. But this wasn't a dream. This was survival.

Hide and seek!

Few seconds layer, two more bikes pulled up—Jade and Mikhail.

Gasps, whispers and giggles were heard. It all filled the air.

Mikhail's gaze snapped to Luxury. Her eyes met his. His cold hazel eyes which was unreadable.

He didn't blink or look away.

She could feel her herself taking a step back at his dead eyes, staring as if he could see right into her—into her soul and disguise.

He narrowed his eyes the way someone does when they are filing you for something later. She blinked away with feigned innocence.

Mikhail just walked away like a scheming devil.

Jade smirked as he walked over. "New guy?"

Luxury nodded. "Yeah! Third year transfer student." dropping her voice an octave lower.

Jade frowned. "How did you enter the school as a third year transfer?" he asked—a hint of confusion settling on his face.

Luxury heart nearly skipped a bit. "Ummm! The scholarship!" she said which came out more like a question as she scratched the back of her neck.

"That's really rare! It happens tho but not as a third year. Even second year is still hard!" he explained hoping to get another valid explanation from her.

Luxury just gave a nervous laugh.

"Maybe, it is luck!" she defended with a smile that did not even look real.

Jade narrowed his eyes and shrugged.

"Okay then. We are classmates. I'm Jade by the way"

"Luxury. But you can call me Lux."

The name sounded sour on her tongue. It was a lie but that's the only name she could be now.

"You're pretty feminine. You a girl?" he asked bluntly.

Luxury sighed. "Not again? I'm a femboy." she replied making sure she sounded offended by what he said.

She grabbed his hand and placed it on her 'empty' chest. "Feel anything?"

"Oh my God! I just let a random person touch my breast! Stay calm, Lux!" she shouted in her mind but she had to keep it cool on the outside.

Jade blinked. "Oh! Alright. Sorry!"

He apologized and Luxury gave a nod that it was accepted.

"Let's be friends?" he offered.

Luxury nearly shouted 'No!' but she remembered she was no longer the person without friends.

She force a smile and replied. "Sure, we already are!"

As they got to the class, whispers followed them.

~He's cute.

~What is Jade doing with a stranger?"

~Jade is so handsome!

~Jade, let me be in his shoes!!!

They both entered the lecture hall and parted ways as if they weren't just talking.

Jade went to his usual seat at the back.

Luxury sat with some students and they introduced themselves welcoming her warmly but she just replied casually

"You're a femboy, right?" Russell asked casually.

"Exactly!" she didn't know when she let herself a grin.

And they gave a light chuckle.

At the back, Mikhail leaned back on his chair as he cold gaze didn't leave Luxury

His hazel eyes narrowed —locked on the transfer student in front of him.

"Who the hell is he?" he muttered, his lips curving into something dangerous.

He didn't know her name. He didn't know her story, but something about that 'boy' made him curious.

He was very good at reading people but he couldn't try to pinpoint some certain things about Luxury. Which made it the first time he is unsure about his predictions and he hated unsolved things

"Fine... I will find out what you are hiding!"
