Chapter 21 - 021: Lady Alice Really Has Good Taste in Men

Lisa had just managed to calm down, but Klee's questioning instantly sent her emotions into turmoil again.

The shameful and awkward scene began replaying in her mind, making the usually composed and intellectual witch completely lose her cool.

"This, um…"

Although it wasn't really her fault, Lisa found herself at a loss for words under Klee's earnest and curious gaze.

How was she supposed to say: "While I was changing clothes, your unreliable father dragged me over here, and I was seen half-dressed, so I had to borrow his clothes to cover up?"

Lisa felt a headache coming on. Today was proving to be a witch's disaster day. She resolved to mark this date after returning to Mondstadt, so she could be extra careful every year from now on.

"Lisa was just eating some delicious food from this world, and it was so good and surprising that she accidentally spilled soup on her clothes. That's why Daddy lent her some clean clothes."

Even though his own thoughts weren't so pure, Ken still spoke gently and innocently in front of Klee.

She's just a child; there's no need for her to know too much detail.

"Oh, I see."

Klee blinked, grinning. "I thought Lisa and Daddy were really close, just like Mom and Daddy!"

Lisa: "..."

You adorable little thing, do you even know what you're saying?

"Ahem." Ken noticed Lisa's embarrassment and coughed. "Kids say the darndest things."

Kids say the darndest things… cough… Lisa took a deep breath, subconsciously avoiding Ken's gaze, and walked to Klee's side. Her emerald eyes landed on the computer in front of her.

On the computer screen was none other than a digital version of Klee.

Seeing the model that looked exactly like Klee, Lisa's eyes sparkled. "Truly amazing."

Even though Lisa had seen all kinds of knowledge in Sumeru and witnessed their unique knowledge reserves, she still couldn't help but be amazed.

Not just at the computer's wonders.

But also at the incredible detail of the game [Genshin Impact].

"Klee, can you find my character and show it to me?"

Lisa asked decisively.

She wanted to see just how detailed the information about her character was.

Klee didn't search right away, but looked up at Ken. After he nodded, she skillfully pulled up Lisa's character profile.

Lisa pursed her lips and, imitating Klee, scrolled through with the mouse.

At first, Lisa's cheeks were still a bit red, her mind occupied by embarrassment, but as she kept reading, shock gradually replaced her shame.

Because, in her character profile, not only was her little-known past written out, but even…

…her future was described.

"A traveler from another world?"

"Dragon Calamity?"

"I'll return to Sumeru in the future? And even explain to the so-called Traveler the real reason I left Sumeru?"

Lisa immediately caught these key points.

Her elegant figure trembled slightly, red lips parted, and her emerald eyes were filled with disbelief.

"Mr. Ken, we need to have a serious talk," Lisa said solemnly.

Seeing her own secret past so clearly written by Ken, Lisa was now fully convinced of his ability to foresee the future and know the past.

Which meant… Mondstadt really would face a disaster in the future.

"You want to ask about the Dragon Calamity?"

Seeing Lisa's expression, Ken had already guessed her intentions.

Don't be fooled by Lisa's usual nonchalance; if Mondstadt were in danger, she'd definitely step up.

"Correct. If possible, I'd like Mr. Ken to tell me everything."

Lisa crossed her arms, her figure—hidden beneath the white shirt—becoming accentuated again.

Ken didn't answer immediately. Instead, he sat down at the computer, took out a phone from the desk, and connected it to the computer.

Under Lisa and Klee's curious gazes, Ken copied the storyline about Mondstadt.

"This contains information about the Dragon Calamity and the Traveler. You can take it and read it at your own pace."

Ken handed the phone to Lisa. Though the witch was quite alluring, things should be taken step by step, and serious matters must be handled seriously.

The sooner the Mondstadt situation was resolved, the better.

After all, Klee was still in Mondstadt now—he didn't want anything happening to his daughter.

"This…"

Looking at the strange device in her hands, Lisa was a bit troubled.

Ken chuckled and went over to teach her how to use the phone himself.

The sudden close contact, the warmth and pressure of the man next to her, made Lisa's heart beat faster for some reason.

Luckily, the basic operations weren't hard to learn, or else she wouldn't have been able to concentrate under those circumstances.

Though she hated to admit it…

Lady Alice really did have great taste in men.

"Thank you. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask," Lisa said sincerely after learning to use the phone. Despite some complaints about how Ken invited her, now that she'd received such important info, her little grudge had vanished.

Ken raised his brows: "Then help me with the character voice recording."

"That's it?" Lisa was surprised.

Ken suddenly smiled and openly glanced at her chest: "Well… If Miss Lisa is willing, I wouldn't mind something more."

Lisa looked confused.

But when she followed Ken's gaze and saw her bosom, her face instantly turned red.

"!!!"

That sudden indecency even she couldn't really handle.
