Chapter 29 - 029: Mona’s Figure Is Petite—I Should Help Her Out

After a moment of reflection, Ken fixes Mona's clothes.

He had to take off a bit earlier to check her, but only removed her little capelet.

After tidying up, Ken feeds Mona some warm sugar water.

"Mmm..."

Unconscious, Mona seems to feel the warmth and sweetness, letting out an involuntary whimper.

Her long legs, wrapped in black stockings, rub gently together.

Seeing Mona like this, Ken can't help but sigh—MiHoYo from his previous life really knew how to make money.

Every five-star character had their own charm.

Just seeing them makes you want to pull for them.

Now that these characters exist in real life, it's a true test of his character.

"Good thing I'm upright enough."

Ken praises himself silently and puts the system-rewarded Calla Lily Seafood Soup in the microwave.

Mona is weak now; greasy food wouldn't suit her, but seafood soup should be okay.

"Mmm... smells so good..."

Whether it's the sugar water reviving her or the aroma of the soup, Mona lying on the sofa murmurs in her sleep and slowly opens her eyes.

"Huh?"

The moment she opens her eyes, Mona blinks in surprise.

Instead of the dense green canopy of the Whispering Woods, she sees a pale gray ceiling and a spacious room with a very different design.

"Where am I?"

Mona instantly becomes alert, supporting herself weakly on the sofa, a guarded look in her light green eyes.

She remembers fainting in the Whispering Woods and seeing a strange door.

Warm light from the door had lifted her up.

Then she lost consciousness.

Is this the world behind the door? But it looks nothing like Mondstadt, Inazuma, or Fontaine. Mona feels uneasy.

Most importantly, there's the smell of seafood soup in the air.

And is that Calla Lily...?

If she weren't so weak, she'd want to divine her fate immediately.

"Awake?"

A gentle, clear voice like a mountain spring comes from behind her.

Mona whips around and sees a man standing not far away.

He's fair-skinned and tall, wearing a white shirt and black trousers. His black hair is neatly trimmed, making his features even more handsome.

Especially his refined, unworldly aura—like a pure Cecilia flower from Mondstadt's hills.

"Who are you?"

The moment Mona sees Ken, she instinctively looks down at her clothes.

Noticing the star-shaped button on her little capelet is off, her expression instantly becomes wary.

Her clothes... have been taken off!

"Don't get the wrong idea. My name is Ken. This is Blue Star. I only touched your clothes because you fainted and I needed to check your body for injuries."

"Miss Mona, welcome to Blue Star."

Ken smiles kindly, not bothering to explain too much.

Mona is different from others—her master is friends with Alice, and she's good at divination, so she's undoubtedly more informed.

Sure enough—

When Mona hears she's on Blue Star, her expression is incredulous but not overly shocked.

She'd heard her master—the old lady—mention this place before.

Of course, her master only heard about it from "Miss Alice."

But to have come from the Whispering Woods to Blue Star after fainting from hunger?

Seeing Mona's bewildered look, Ken directly calls out little Klee.

"Mona?"

Seeing the pale Mona, little Klee is surprised for a moment, then immediately runs over.

Mona's eyes widen in an instant.

The great astrologer Mona feels, for the first time, that her brain can't keep up.

Five minutes later.

After hearing the whole story from Klee, Mona is even more shocked.

"Ken... Ken is your father?"

Mona's eyes are wide round. She feels the world is just too magical.

In fact, Mona's master is also a witch—the old lady she refers to.

The old lady and Alice are old friends, sometimes rivals, sometimes allies.

Mona came to Mondstadt to help her master find Alice's heir and retrieve a very important top-secret chest.

Thus, Mona found Klee in Mondstadt, and after retrieving the chest, Mona accidentally looked at its contents.

Inside was the old lady's... her master's... diary from her girlhood.

If she returned after peeking at that, Mona was sure her master would kill her... so she decided to settle in Mondstadt for a while.

Because of all this, Mona and Klee became friends, and she'd sometimes drop by Klee and Albedo's for a meal.

But until now, Mona had never heard a word about Klee's father.

Even the old lady had no idea who Klee's father was.

And now, she's met him just like that?

Mona blinks and mutters,

"My savior... is Klee's father?"

After finally making sense of everything, Mona feels like things have gone beyond what an astrologer can predict. She's stunned for a long while before calming down.

"If I remember right, that does seem to be the case."

Ken jokes, a little surprised at the confusion of the timeline.

But since Teyvat isn't the game, it's normal for the timelines to be a little off.

Ken doesn't dwell on it. Instead, he checks the soup in the microwave.

Hmm...

Mona's figure is quite petite—as a kind soul, he feels obliged to help her out.
