Chapter 132 - Chapter 132: Conan's Tracking and Yukiko's Suspicions (1st Update)

Watching the female attendant pushing the cleaning cart, Conan slowly followed behind her.

He knew the members of the Organization were very dangerous, so he kept as far away from her as possible, never letting her leave his sight from beginning to end.

When he encountered pedestrians in the corridor, Conan would immediately hide behind them, concealing his figure.

During the tracking, he noticed the female attendant frequently looked back.

At this moment, he was very glad he was a child, otherwise he would have been discovered long ago.

However, after following for a while, she entered the elevator.

Conan frowned, but after a moment's hesitation, he ultimately chose to follow her in.

Seeing that she planned to stop on the seventh floor, he pressed for the ninth floor.

"Child, are you alone?" the female attendant asked with a smile.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm going back to get something!" Conan said, looking up, taking off his glasses, and wiping them with his clothes.

The female attendant reminded him, "Try not to wipe them with your clothes in the future; it will damage the lenses."

"Oh, is that so? I got it!" Seeing this, Conan stopped and put his glasses back on.

He put on a look of discomfort, then quickly took out a handkerchief from his pocket, covered his nose with it, and sneezed.

"Ah… sorry." Conan looked at the female attendant sheepishly, then looked at the handkerchief and said with a hint of distaste, "My snot came out… it's so dirty, I'll just throw it away!"

Saying that, he threw the handkerchief into the bag on the cleaning cart.

The female attendant saw it and opened her mouth, but ultimately said nothing.

Ding! Ninth floor.

"Bye!!" Conan waved goodbye to the female attendant and stepped out of the elevator.

He walked unhurriedly towards the room area.

Only after hearing the elevator door close behind him did he turn and sprint back, running towards the nearest stairs!

Conan was very glad he had wandered around last night and familiarized himself with the general structure of the cruise ship; otherwise, this tracking would have been troublesome.

Upon reaching the stairwell, he felt going down the stairs was too slow, so he simply jumped up, sat on the handrail, and slid down.

It looked very stylish, but in reality, Conan felt his butt was about to be cooked!

After reaching the seventh floor, he quickly went to the intersection near the elevator to hide, waiting there while catching his breath.

Ding!

Watching the elevator open, Conan saw the female attendant was still inside and let out a long sigh of relief, glad he had made it in time.

However, what stunned him was that the female attendant had no intention of coming out; instead, she selected another floor on the control panel.

It was only then that Conan realized the seventh floor she chose was merely a counter-surveillance tactic for caution!!

He had been fooled!

He quickly Ran to the elevator door and looked at the floor displayed on the screen.

Conan noticed the elevator stopped on floors 2, 3, 4, and 5 and couldn't help but exclaim, "This person… is indeed a professional killer! Too cautious."

"Luckily, I'm smart and hid a signal tracker in the handkerchief I threw into the cleaning cart!"

Through the positioning system on his glasses, he discovered the red dot moved when it reached the 3rd floor.

A smile played on Conan's lips, and then he sprinted to the third floor!

However, when he took the elevator to the third floor and found the location of the red dot, he discovered only the cleaning cart was left!

This made Conan realize he had celebrated too early!

Just as he was about to search around, a male attendant bumped into him and said to Conan, "Little brother, this is a work area… you can't play here! Hurry back!"

These words startled Conan, and he immediately sobered up.

He realized that if he were discovered by that killer, he would be finished!

He quickly said, "I understand!!"

Conan left in the elevator, feeling unwilling.

After returning to the dining area, he looked around but didn't see Baishi Hui, so he chose a conspicuous seat and sat down, waiting for him to return.

The cruise ship had already set sail, and there was no phone signal, so he couldn't call him.

This was the inconvenient part about being on the ship.

While waiting, Conan reflected on his tracking attempt.

No problem!

His tracking method was fine!

It was that female killer who was too cautious.

Thinking of this, Conan could only place his hopes on Baishi Hui.

And at this moment, Yukiko came over.

She asked curiously, "Shinichi, why are you alone? Didn't Ran come over for breakfast?"

"Shirashi was just called by the client to report on the situation… As for Ran, she's still sleeping!" Conan told a small lie, not wanting Yukiko to know about the two killers suspected of being Liquor Organization members.

He knew very well that if Conan's Mom found out, she would definitely keep a close eye on him immediately!

"Then what are their room numbers?" Yukiko sat down on the chair next to Conan.

To this question, Conan honestly replied, "Uh… that… I didn't ask, they're staying together."

"Staying together?" When Yukiko heard this, her voice couldn't help but rise by a few decibels!

She looked at Conan in disbelief; something this important, and you have absolutely no reaction?

Conan quickly motioned for Yukiko to lower her voice and said, "They're pretending to be a couple right now, so of course they have to stay together! Otherwise, it will arouse suspicion!"

"Mother, you don't need to worry, Baishi was busy investigating last night and didn't even sleep!"

"You don't need to think too much!"

Listening to Conan's words, Yukiko felt quite speechless; her son's thick skin was truly unmatched!

She said exasperatedly, "When a man and a woman stay in the same room, especially good-looking ones, something will likely happen! Opposites attract, don't you understand?"

In response, Conan said dismissively, "Ran isn't that kind of casual girl!"

Yukiko shook her head and said in a definite tone, "Precisely because she's a good girl, she's easily taken advantage of by bad people!!"

"Good women are always attracted to bad men!"

"You have no idea how much attraction a bad boy has for girls!"

"What's more, he's good at talking!"

"A girl like Ran, who has no experience, is too easy to be manipulated!"

After hearing Conan's Mom's words, Conan frowned slightly.

He disagreed with her views.

He had spent so much time with Ran and knew she was a traditional girl.

She wouldn't possibly do these things before they were in a relationship!

Conan shook his head and said, "Conan's Mom, I know Ran better than you! She wouldn't do these things!"

You understand Ran, but you don't understand women… Yukiko really wanted to say this, but she thought about it and gave up.

Saying that would only make her son dislike her, serving no purpose.

Besides… she really didn't know Ran very well.

It was truly inappropriate to guess about Ran in such a generalizing manner.

However, a woman's intuition told Yukiko… things might not be like this.

She secretly made up her mind, deciding it was necessary for her to test the waters!

And at this moment, Baishi Hui returned.

"Miss Yukiko." Baishi Hui came over with a glass of orange juice and greeted her, saying, "It's quite a coincidence… When I saw Conan just now, I thought I was seeing things."

"The captain is my friend… I was bored, so I brought him out to play!" Yukiko smiled lightly and then asked, "Is Ran awake now? I want to walk around the ship with her; I'm too bored by myself."

"She didn't sleep much last night, I estimate she won't wake up until the afternoon," Baishi Hui said, taking a sip of orange juice.

"Is that so? That's a shame." Yukiko first expressed regret, then asked, "Then where is your room? I want to leave a message for Ran."

Baishi Hui didn't hide it and told Yukiko the room number.

After getting the room number, Yukiko said, "The weather is nice now, do you want to walk around this cruise ship with me?"

"I want to stay with Shirashi!" Conan refused without thinking; his mind was entirely focused on the two Organization killers, how could he be in the mood to stroll on the deck?

"I didn't sleep all night, so I'll go back to my room to rest later." Baishi Hui still had to busy himself installing bombs; how could he have time to accompany her on the deck.

"Oh, it seems I'll have to go alone." Yukiko sighed, then she said, "If anything happens, leave a message in my room~~~ Then, goodbye."

Saying that, she waved goodbye and left the dining area.

As soon as Yukiko left, Conan impatiently asked, "Shirashi, how is the situation on your end?"

"They Ran!" Baishi Hui shrugged and said, "When I went over, there was no one… Looking at you, you probably didn't keep up either, right?"

"Yeah… I lost them." Conan sighed, then he organized his thoughts and said, "It seems… we can only focus our attention on Hatamoto Gozo."

"The real Hatamoto Gozo has been hidden by them… When that Hatamoto Gozo appears, he must be an imposter!"

"That's right." Baishi Hui agreed, saying, "Since that's the case, let's split up and look around; maybe we'll get lucky."

Conan agreed to the suggestion, and after agreeing on a time to meet, he left the dining area with full motivation.

Baishi Hui had no intention of looking for Hatamoto Gozo.

If he found the person, killed Vermouth, he would also have to prevent Conan from finding out it was him.

It was so troublesome; it would be better to just blow up the cruise ship directly and deal with Vermouth in the chaos, letting her body sink into the sea!

Although it would cause a big commotion, the advantage was that Conan wouldn't suspect he did it at all!

Perfect!

After blowing up the cruise ship, he could even take Ran on his yacht and "wander" at sea for a few days, completely making Ran his own shape without anyone disturbing them.

Simply perfect!!

However, before the plan began, Baishi Hui had to talk to the crew about the ship exploding…

This cruise ship couldn't just be blown up casually; if it were sunk in one go, who knows how many people would die… that would be too much sin.

It had to sink slowly, with enough time for everyone to escape.
