Chapter 175 - Chapter 175 Levi's Training Class

The next day.

As the sun rose, the Pokémon Summer Camp continued. Today, Li Wei was going to teach them a breeding class.

This was Professor Professor Rowan's suggestion last night.

Last night during dinner,

Professor Professor Rowan suddenly said, "Li Wei, those children really like you."

Li Wei was startled, then replied, "Because I already knew those children before."

"I have a suggestion: why don't you teach them a class tomorrow? I think they'll be very happy."

A class isn't long, 45 minutes.

While Li Wei couldn't completely set aside his work at the Breeding Center to be a Summer Camp teacher, he did have time for one class.

"But I remember there's no breeding class tomorrow morning, right?"

The Summer Camp's curriculum is usually quite fixed; the second day is always for the children to command their Pokémon in battle.

"There's still time for an extra class. The children's battles won't last very long."

Li Wei thought about it and agreed. Many of them hadn't even fully recognized Pokémon or memorized the type effectiveness chart.

It would be considered a success if they could even smoothly call out move names, so the battles wouldn't last long at all.

So Li Wei agreed.

Since he was going to teach, Li Wei wanted to do his best. He prepared the lesson overnight.

After all, there was already a Teacher Steven as a shining example. While he didn't dare say he could rival Steven, he still wanted to do his best.

The children were gathered on the lawn, each standing or holding a Pokémon beside them. They were eager for the upcoming Pokémon battles.

Yesterday, after a full day, with the help of Professor Professor Rowan or the Summer Camp teachers, the children had finally gotten along well with their Pokémon.

Looking at the children's innocent faces, Professor Professor Rowan smiled and said, "This morning, we have an extra special breeding class. Let's give a warm welcome to your special teacher, Li Wei."

At first, the children were a bit unenthusiastic, as they preferred Pokémon battles over breeding classes.

But as soon as they heard the teacher was Li Wei, the children from Meria's Home erupted in enthusiastic applause.

The children from the other two orphanages also knew Li Wei,

After all, Li Wei had won the Youth Breeder Competition and had over 350,000 followers on his account.

The children were very excited that Li Wei could teach them.

Amidst the children's applause, Li Wei, dressed in a work uniform, made a grand entrance carrying a toolbox, accompanied by a Dragapult.

"Hello everyone, today, my partner and I will be teaching you a class."

"First, a question for everyone: Does anyone know her name?"

"Dragapult!"

This name was incredibly familiar to the children from Meria's Home.

Li Wei clapped, "Correct answer! Dragapult, say hello to the children."

"Grrrooo ~ ~"

Whether it was Li Wei, Professor Professor Rowan, or the children, they could all hear the high-pitched tone in Dragapult's voice.

Professor Professor Rowan, Li Wei's family, and some of the staff were watching Li Wei's class from the outermost perimeter.

Seeing this scene, AuntRui Sui sighed:

"Xiao Wei used to only be able to help with odd jobs, but now he can teach at Professor Professor Rowan's Summer Camp."

Rui Xi nodded, "We took the Intermediate Breeder exam together back then, but now he could be my teacher."

What Rui Xi envied most about Li Wei was his learning ability; it felt like he learned everything incredibly fast.

Especially after eating the Corn Tower Li Wei made last night, she found it hard to believe Li Wei was making desserts for the first time.

But Rui Xi, who had worked at the Breeding Center for over half a year, knew very well that Li Wei had indeed never made desserts before.

Li Wei didn't know they were discussing him. Time was precious, and he needed to get on with the class.

"Pokémon, just like us humans, need to eat, sleep, bathe... only then can they stay healthy and strong..."

"What do you usually eat for meals?"

"Rice!"

These children weren't completely ignorant, especially after having interacted with Pokémon for a day yesterday.

This greatly reduced the difficulty of Li Wei's teaching.

"But Pokémon don't eat rice. Or rather, rice has no nutritional value for them. They have special Pokémon food."

"Who can tell me some regional specialty Pokémon foods? You only need to name one!"

The children raised their hands eagerly.

"Poffin!"

"Energy Cube!"

"Poké Curry!"

"Berry Juice!"

Because the children had watched live broadcasts and videos of the Youth Breeder Competition, they could answer this question quickly.

Li Wei didn't plan to teach them how to make Pokémon food; that would take too much time, and it was part of Professor Professor Rowan's later curriculum.

Li Wei only needed to convey some basic knowledge to them through interaction.

"Excellent! Now, who can tell me what effect Poffin has on Pokémon?"

This question was slightly more difficult; even some Trainers who had set out on their journeys weren't sure.

Li Wei provided them with the answer.

"Having solved the problems of food and water, for basic necessities, only housing remains."

"The Poké Ball is where most Pokémon live, and they also sleep inside it at night."

Saying this, Li Wei opened his toolbox, displaying the rewards he received from the League: a box of special Poké Balls.

"Different Poké Balls have different special effects..."

Li Wei only introduced the relatively common Great Ball and Ultra Ball, as the children wouldn't remember too many.

Rather than throwing all the knowledge at them at once, it was better to have them remember a portion.

Li Wei's main time was spent elsewhere. "Everyone prepared food for their Pokémon yesterday, right?"

While he said 'prepared,' in reality, most of it was done by Professor Professor Rowan and his assistants.

But the children did participate.

"Yes!"

"Then, in this class today, let's learn how to give our Pokémon a cleaning and grooming session!"

"Okay!"

Li Wei, of course, wasn't teaching them the kind of grooming that involved bathing, but rather a relatively simple waterless cleaning, only requiring tissues, brushes, and combs.

Professor Professor Rowan had naturally prepared these tools.

Li Wei looked at the waiting Summer Camp teachers, "Please help me distribute these."

Li Wei's demonstration model for the children was Dragapult. "Everyone, just follow my movements."

"Remember to be gentle, and definitely don't use too much force."

"Yes, take your time. Mightyena's fur is relatively stiff, so you can use a bit more force."

Li Wei only demonstrated once before he began to circulate among the children, primarily checking on the potentially more dangerous Pokémon.

It must be said that the human physique in the Pokémon world is quite invincible; taking a Thunderbolt head-on isn't a big problem.

This was also why Li Wei dared to let the children handle them personally.

Of course, it still hurt.

After the class ended, the children excitedly discussed the lesson content.

Professor Professor Rowan clapped his hands, "Children, take a break. We're about to prepare for Pokémon battles!"
