Chapter 1 - Arcane Warlock Wizard Tower

"The planar expedition has started 1.300 years ago, who can tell me the progress of our Wizard Alliance since then?" a mouth hovering in the air asked.

In the classroom, there were fifty-seven children listening attentively – although they had all heard the content many times before, this topic would always make the children's heart burn!

A boy in the front row raised his hand.

"Elios, you tell me" next to the mouth, there was also a flying hand pointing at the boy sitting in the front row.

He had white hair and violet eyes, a unique appearance among the many apprentices in the room.

Elios didn't hesitate and instantly replied "Since the start of the planetary exploration, the Wizard Alliance conquered a total of eleven planes, nine small ones and two middle level planes.

The resources from these planes were all transformed by the Alchemist Wizards, making them usable by many wizard branches, advancing the progress of many wizards.

In addition, the great speaker Arcane Light Roseville has reached the Sixth Ring Wizard Stage, reaching a new height. Various speaker followed from then on, among which are Blood Warlock Larios and Mother of Mechanics Vera.

Following many achievements, new Wizard Towers with different projects have been created by the Wizard Alliance.

Our Arcane Warlock Wizard tower, also known as the Trinity Enlightenment Wizard Tower, is one of these.

There was a great promise upon the creation of these towers – the first Wizard to reach the fifth rank in each Wizard Tower will receive the title of founder and headmaster of the wizard tower, as well as the official title of Speaker in the Wizard Council.

Currently, none of the newly created wizard towers has reached this, the highest being the fourth ring mage in the Fire-Earth Wizard Tower.

Our Arcane Warlock Wizard Tower's highest elder is at the third ring."

"That's correct, can you also tell me the difficulty of our wizard tower and why it hasn't reached the fourth stage when others have already?" the mouth continued to ask.

"Our Arcane Warlock Wizard Tower's lineage lies in the Trinity Enlightenment Meditation Rune – its goal is to achieve enlightenment in the three directions of [Body], [Magic] and [Soul], the three origins of wizard's power.

This idea is extremely difficult – although the promised power is said to be on par with the top wizards of the Wizard Alliance, to prove it correct, one has to have talent at least as high as the Speaker, Arcane Light Roseville himself – these were his words.

Other wizard towers like the Fire-Earth Wizard Tower have different directions. Although their promised power is less than that of top tier wizard powers, they have been rated as at least secondary power levels, with potential of reaching higher if other elements are added.

As for the issue of reaching the fourth stage – in the theory of Speaker Roseville, after every three wizard rings, there will be a major change and sublimation of life.

The fourth ring is the first hurdle and the seventh ring is likely the second.

To reach the fourth ring, one has to combine the foundational runes with the meditation rune and create a wizard platform – the combination of the three elements of Body, Soul and Magic has not yet been proved to be possible, as the three elements are extremely repulsive."

Although Elios said so much, in fact, he didn't really understand the depth of these things. This was just a general understanding taught by the teachers of the wizard tower.

"Good answer!" the mouth nodded, then continued with another topic.

The class continued for a few hours before it ended – all children instantly left the classroom and the whole teaching building.

They moved towards their dormitories.

Elios walked to a larger dormitory on the side. Behind him, a boy sprinted to his side, making a joke "The teacher really likes you!"

"Every teacher likes diligent students – if you put in the effort to learn all magic theory, you would also sit in the front seat!"

"Shoo shoo! Don't talk about learning, we just left the classroom! Alas, a whole class for over five hours every week, how can we stand this!" the boy complained.

Elios looked sideways – five hours, once a week… if it was his previous life, people might think this guy was just joking, or perhaps using a different time system.

Five hours weren't even enough to fill one day of school!

Elios shook his head and chatted with his friend. He was called Leo, and, just like Elios, he had a Five-Star natural meditation talent.

In the wizard world, there have been many ways to test the talent of students, and to filter out the apprentices among the mortals.

If you have meditation talent of 1, you can become an apprentice with an extremely small chance of becoming a formal wizard, a first ring wizard.

"Natural meditation talent" means to have been born with that talent – there are ways to enhance talent, but the higher your natural talent is, the easier and cheaper it is to enhance it.

Elios for example knew that as long as he reached the third stage, he would get a potion to enhance his talent to the sixth stage. If he reached the fifth stage and became a speaker, the seventh stage would be easy too.

As for higher, that wasn't possible – simply because there was a steep rise for the eight and final ninth stage of meditation talent.

He would have to find a way to enhance his talent on his own.

Of course he didn't care about this just yet – with his five-star talent, he was already above most people, even though this might not seem the case in the Arcane Warlock Wizard Tower… but this is only because the lowest requirement to join this Wizard Tower is to have three star talent.

On top of that, you would need high learning talent.

Elios not only had five-star talent, his initial learning talent was also extremely high, very suitable for the Arcane path.

If he was just a simple reincarnated, he might have chosen this path. After all, this was a proven and safe path!

But, he was not!

While they were talking, he had already entered the dormitory and entered his room, ignoring Leo who was still chatting behind him.

Although there was a teaching building and dormitory, in fact, they were all in the tower, never having left it!
