Heat rushed to Lara's cheeks. She quickly shifted away from Thornak, smoothing her creased blouse.
"I'm sorry," she called out to him, clearly embarrassed.
Thornak gave a low chuckle and adjusted himself, settling back into a more proper posture. "You are simply jealous," he said calmly.
Kaelith chuckled."You wish."
A little while later, the carriage stopped in front of the Duke's mansion.
Dorian and Wanda were waiting by the gate. They looked relieved to see them.
Thornak helped Lara down from the carriage.
"Welcome back, Your Majesty. My lady," Dorian said, bowing his head.
Wanda gave a small bow as well. "The sorceress Rosly is waiting for you," she said softly.
The group exchanged quick looks.
"We just came from meeting her," Kaelith said.
"Yes," Rhylen added as he stepped into view. "She mentioned having a potion that allows for faster travel."
Thornak let out a slow breath and shook his head. "Alright then," he said. "Next time, we go by foot."
