"Mr. O'Brien, can you confirm what data was compromised?" one persistent reporter called out, shoving her microphone forward.
"Our priority right now is transparency and security," Axel repeated smoothly. "We're working with cybersecurity experts and will provide updates as we have them."
I nodded beside him, keeping my expression appropriately worried. "We take this breach very seriously and are committed to protecting our stakeholders' information. Thank you all for your time."
We stepped back into Axel's office after the press conference, the door clicking shut behind us. Axel locked it immediately, and we stood there for a beat, just staring at each other in the sudden silence.
