Time passed.

Like marital life after marriage — faster, messier, and nobody wants to talk about it.

...

Dylan lay spread-eagle on the floor, sighing dramatically. Not a scratch on him, but somehow, his pride was brutally mutilated.

"Maybe we were too harsh… on him emotionally, though his skin is very tough!!"

Kafka's lazy voice drifted from the front lines.

"Harsh?" Silver Wolf scoffed, eyes on her light screen, blazing another empty soldier to bits. "He's still breathing, isn't he? All according to plan."

Kafka chuckled seductively. "Mmhm. True."

Despite the lack of any visible injury, Dylan 's spirit had clearly been drop-kicked into a black hole.

Why? Why had they both rushed over when he innocently asked where the toilet was... and emotionally assaulted him with a lecture on responsibility and timing?

It was tough being hot, misunderstood, and a vessel for a sentient cosmic core.

Covering his metaphorical bruises, Dylan sat up and glanced around. The wave of antimatter soldiers had mostly been cleaned out by now.

Just then—

"Huh? What?" Dylan blinked.

Then a warm current burst through his body, surging along his veins, seizing his breath.

The star core trembled violently in his chest—

BOOM!

He felt his body becoming increasingly hot and time slowing down

His muscles swollen real time until his shirt couldn't hold his pecs muscles and tear down

His muscles re-formed like 3D prints on steroids.

Kafka turned around just in time to see him with no shirt and his muscles exposed to the air

She was sure at beginning he was just little taller than her

But now she is barely at his chest level

Silver Wolf, eating her snack bar, squinted: "Wait, was he always that..veiny...and tall?"

Kafka's lips curled into a faint smile.

"Our job's done. The train folks will be here soon. Let's bounce."

She gave Dylan a final seductive glance.

"We'll meet again. Don't disappoint me."

...

Time passed again.

"Hehe~ Wake up~ or I'm giving you artificial respiration!" chirped March 7th.

Dylan : So that's the legendary 'CPR tease'...

He lay perfectly still.

After 2 minutes of steamy CPR

Dan Heng crouched beside her. "Did you finish?."

March 7th: "Mmhmmmmm....."taking her tongue out of his mouth"..he is conscious using his mouth!!!"

As she was trying to slap him

Dylan sighed.

Suddenly, his eyes popped open.

And while standing up towering his frame on March 7th she felt weak and intimidated….not in a bad…..more convinced herself it was just a medical act nothing much

And she remembers how she didn't resist his tongue moving....

"Why didn't you continue mouth-to-mouth? This is textbook medical negligence!"

Until he said this line and she slapped that goofy grin out of his face

Later, they met Himeko

She looked at Dylan 's flushed cheeks. "Oh? What happened to his face?"

March 7th: "Antimatter monster kissed him. Probably tongue, too."

Dan Heng: "…"

Himeko extended a hand. "Hello, I'm Himeko. You are?"

Dylan was momentarily dazed.

That smile — it shook something deep in his neurons.

"Dylan . I've admired you… for a long time, Captain of the Huberian."

Himeko tilted her head. "Huberian? That's… an old name. How curious."

March 7th rolled her eyes. "Ignore him. Probably brain damage from all the emotional trauma."

Dan Heng explained: "He was… targeted. Star Core Hunters inserted a nucleus in him. Kafka and Silver Wolf defended him for hours."

Himeko gave him a new, appraising look.

"Star Core Hunters… protected you? Fascinating."

She smiled politely.

"Are you... one of them?"

Dylan 's heart thumped. If she found out he was technically carrying enemy tech, they might disintegrate him. Not that he was scared of her, but that train may be dangerous after all — an Aeon owned it.

So he puffed up his chest with righteous indignation and said:

"No! They stuffed it into me while I was unconscious! Violated! I'm a victim!"

March 7th's jaw dropped. "They WHAT?! Into a living person?!"

She ran up, touching his abs. "Do you feel weird? Any… transformations?!"

Dylan grinned confidently.

Standing near the station window, arms crossed behind his back like a sage:

"Mutation? Bah. I'm built different. A mere star core? No match for this superhuman physique."

March 7th sniffed. "Still smells weird though."

Dylan coughed. "About that… had a little emergency. Fixed it in the corner. Clothes might need a wash."

He looked around seriously.

"Anyone got paper?"

Silence.

Everyone stared at him.

Himeko blinked. March 7th looked scandalized. Dan Heng stepped slightly away.

Dylan : "Ladies and gentlemen. It's no big deal. Really."
