Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: The Birth of a World and a Lost Destiny

The dense energy wave that flowed like a cosmic storm, with unimaginable speed, should have been Zego's end. Yet, a miracle occurred. The wave did not collide with him, nor did it shatter him. It simply passed through him, as if Zego were not there at all. It was as if he were a ghost, a shadow within a vision that lacked any physical substance. Zego was utterly bewildered, the fear that had frozen his blood now replaced by an overwhelming confusion. What kind of insane event is this? he screamed in his mind, but no sound escaped. He couldn't move, couldn't shout, couldn't even feel the touch of the wave. He was a helpless spectator, a spirit trapped within a cosmic theater.

The fear returned, this time not from the energy wave, but from the realization that he was so powerless, so insignificant in this cosmic scheme. He was a witness to a drama far beyond his comprehension. The energy wave continued to spread, a ripple that emanated from the giant planet that was the center of everything. That planet was the source of all destruction and creation. Zego stared at the massive planet, a globe shrouded in an incredibly dense and pure energy, far more powerful and dangerous than any star he had ever seen. The planet was the heart of this universe, a heartbeat that pumped life and death to all corners of space.

The continuous energy waves released from the central planet struck the other planets around it, pushing them away into a stable order. All the planets, compelled by an unimaginable force, began to orbit the giant planet as if it were their center. Zego watched this, speechless. This was a demonstration of pure power he could not fathom. The law of gravity, as he knew it, seemed to be rewritten before his eyes. He could not comprehend this, but he could feel it. A sense of awe and horror mingled within him. Every energy wave that touched the other planets created a vibration that reached his consciousness, telling him that this was no illusion, but a reality far greater than he had ever imagined.

Suddenly, the giant planet shone brighter than before, blinding Zego with a light so pure that he had to "close" his eyes, even though he had no physical eyes in this vision. The light pierced through everything, revealing the core of that world. There, at its center, was a horrifyingly dense energy, a power so great that it even bent the space around it. Space rippled like water, twisting and curving around the core of that world, a core that held control over everything. Zego felt as though he were looking into a black hole, a bottomless abyss of emptiness where all natural laws became irrelevant.

In an instant, Zego was suddenly pulled to another place, to a point farther out in the universe. From here, he could see the entire system of newly formed planets more clearly. All the planets that had been pushed away were now spinning around the giant planet as if it were the center of a complex cosmic dance. Zego still couldn't understand this, but he could see it. It was a new order, a creation born from destruction.

From a distance, Zego watched as the giant planet suddenly stopped releasing energy waves. This abrupt halt felt like a chilling pause in the middle of a cosmic symphony. Then, the universe seemed to fast-forward time with a speed that exceeded the very concept of time itself. Eons passed in the blink of an eye. Zego witnessed how the other planets moved incredibly fast, their orbits becoming blurred lines of light. He saw how planets that were once just lumps of rock now showed signs of change.

In the midst of all this, the giant planet at the center showed the most noticeable change. Its surface, still filled with hot land, produced immense heat, making the planet like a second star nearby. Meanwhile, on the distant planets, signs of life began to appear. Zego witnessed an incredibly rapid evolution, from single-celled organisms to more complex creatures. This was something his sanity could not process, something he was unable to comprehend even though he was witnessing it right before his eyes. Slowly, the planets transformed into homes for these creatures.

Various races of living beings appeared there, from races resembling dragons that flew in lava-filled skies, races made of living crystal in ice deserts, to races with wings like angels that resided in golden mountains. Zego quickly "circled" to see what races existed. He observed their rapidly developing civilizations, magnificent cities built from materials he didn't recognize, and the epic battles that unfolded between them. But on all the planets he saw, there was no human race. They were all strange races, which he had only ever heard of in ancient stories he thought were just myths.

However, of all of them, there were a few planets that were the closest and largest of most of the others. A total of ten planets caught Zego's attention. These planets had an aura different from the rest, stronger and purer. But the strangest thing was the location of these planets. They were lined up in an unusual formation. Zego tried to move away to get a clearer view, and he gasped. It was true. They seemed to stretch out like a constellation pattern, a formation that was familiar to his eyes, but with a much deeper meaning.

Are these planets related to the 10 ancient sacred beings? Zego asked himself in his mind. The question just came to him, a strong premonition he got from the sight before him.

Suddenly, the heat emitted by the giant planet at the center diminished, like a torch running out of fuel. This dimming of the heat not only affected the central planet but also caused the other planets to gradually lose life. The civilizations that had developed so quickly now faded, magnificent cities became ruins, and the diverse creatures slowly died, enveloped in darkness and cold. Zego felt a wave of profound sadness, as if he were experiencing the death of every single individual who had lived there.

After the heat had vanished from the surface of the central planet, Zego could see all its land clearly. It was a heartbreaking sight, a universe slowly dying. But there was no end. Slowly, the central planet formed a very powerful protective energy shield, coating its entire surface. The energy rippled and swirled, creating an impenetrable barrier. All the remaining life energy from the dying planets, all the auras, all the powers, all the essence of every race, were forcibly pulled toward that large planet.

Zego witnessed an incredible sight: strands of light, like rivers of energy, flowing from the cold planets towards the central one. It was a horrifying harvest of energy, an act that drained the life from the entire system to fill one place. And in that process, in the midst of all that gathered life energy, a new life energy suddenly appeared, one that was stronger and purer than all the others.

It was... a spark of life. A small, pulsating light, floating in the midst of a vast ocean of energy. It was the core of everything, a new beginning born from the end of all things.
