Lights pulsed in violent colors across the smoky air, half naked bodies pressed together in a feverish rhythm. Wolves and humans alike tangled on the dance floor… hips grinding, teeth flashing, sweat glistening under strobe lights.
At one corner, a woman licked salt off a man's neck before another poured tequila into her mouth. In another, a group leaned over a glass table, sniffing thin white lines with greedy desperation.
Athena's breath hitched.
She had seen chaos in hospital emergency rooms before, but this was different. This was controlled madness, indulgence dripping from every move.
Sadly she never had the luxury to visit one of the night clubs in her own world. Too busy to pay her father's debt. Only lived off cheap beer for alcohol.
