The two heads of the Gry and Falcon families sat across from each other in the grand hall of the gry House. The atmosphere was calm, but tension filled the air.
luke Falcon began the conversation:
"I'll come straight to the point — something both you and I already know.
This marriage was promised by your ancestors and my younger brother (Duke's father).
When both broke the Half-Gold barrier and became full Gold Vampires, the vow was made.
Our family cannot break that promise."
Hearing this, james Gry drifted into his memories.
40 years ago…
He remembered the time when the Falcon family alone dominated the entire North Side. Even the East trembled in their name.
But now… that era was just a forgotten past.
The very thought of Duke's father sent a chill through his spine.
His wife nudged him, bringing him back to the present.
james said,
"Yes, there was a time when the Falcon family was a true powerhouse…
But times have changed. Now they're struggling just to survive."
Then he spoke softly:
"Look luke … that promise was made long ago.
The ones who made it are no longer in this world.

luke Falcon replied:
"But that vow was made in front of both families. You can't just deny it."
james responded in a low voice:
"You are my good friend, and our families respect each other…
But you tell me — do they even match?
My daughter is in the First Grade of Beta… she could become Alpha any day now.
She's the youngest in our family and on her way to becoming an Alpha before the age of 20.
How can I ruin her future?"
At that moment, luke placed a copy of the Holy Agreement on the table — a black parchment, sealed with a family crest.
Seeing it, james went silent… His wife looked at him anxiously.

Enter: hannry
(Half-Gold Vampire, james's father's younger brother)
A man who could become a Gold Vampire at any time.
As he entered, everyone stood up and bowed their heads.
hannry glanced at everyone, then motioned for them to sit.
He picked up the agreement, read it carefully, then looked at luke and said:
"If this agreement was made… then the marriage will happen."
james's wife protested:

james's wife spoke again:

And our daughter is already in Beta First Grade — she could become Alpha any day!
She's stronger than all four of our children combined.
She's going to become an Alpha before 20. How can you destroy her future?"
hannry shouted:
"Enough…!"
His voice held such authority that the entire room fell silent.

"You… You've become Gold from Half-Gold…?"
hannry changed his eye color — his Full Gold Eyes sparkled.
Seeing him, luke and his wife immediately stood up.
hannry said:
"Yes… I advanced to Gold a few months ago…"
luke just nodded and said nothing more.
hannry looked at james, gave a nod… and vanished into thin air.
Watching him disappear like that, luke couldn't help but whisper:
"Wow… it's been so long since I've seen someone vanish like that…"
james said:
"Now that uncle has given his verdict… we accept it too…"
But there was heaviness in his words.
He had thought that now that hannry had become a Gold Vampire, he might delay the wedding, maybe offer a new proposal…
But instead, he changed everything.
If hannry had said the agreement was null — luke would have had to accept that.
But what changed… that made hannry flip his stance?
Before leaving, luke said:
"Tomorrow, I'll bring Duke with me…"
james walked him to the door.
As soon as luke left, james rushed to the room where hannry was sitting.
He asked angrily:
"Why…?"
hannry smiled, gestured for him to sit, and said:
"luke is soon going to break the Silver barrier and become Half-Gold…
And you know what that means, don't you?"
james fell silent.
Soon, the Falcon family would have two Half-Gold Vampires…
And then hannry gave the order:
