Dark World
In the Dark World, power reigns supreme. Here, new powers are constantly born and destroyed. Currently, there are two known continents in the Dark World, which were formed around 1,000 years ago and still exist today. The Dark Hall was also established roughly around the same time. Before that, there were more continents in the Dark World, which vanished over time. Eventually, the last two supreme beings used their strength to split the Dark World into two parts. Remnants of the lost continents still exist in the Dark World, and exploration of these ruins is ongoing.
At present, vampires inhabit only 15% of the Dark World. The remaining 85% consists of forests, mountains, swamps, and untouched territories. Just as nature granted power to vampires, it also empowered other creatures to maintain balance. These beings have their own intelligence and powers. Vampires call them monsters. These monsters possess powers similar to vampires and grow stronger over time. They are categorized into levels, from Level 1 to Level 9, and as their levels increase, so does their strength and the quality of their blood.
Vampire families usually live far from each other; they don't like to stay in one place. There are cities here too. The Royal City, located in the center of the continents, belongs to the royal family. Each side has its own city governed under the royal family. Vampire families loyal to the royal family live around these cities and support each other during crises. In recent centuries, there has been a power imbalance in the Dark World, and the Dark Hall has also entered the race for power.
On the North side, there's a major city where the White Commander of the royal family resides. This family is known as the Copper Family. Many other loyal families live in this city. The city is located at the center of the northern region, with Sector A and Sector B on either side. The Side Hall is also located in this city.
Copper Family
This is the primary family that manages all royal family affairs. Its head is Elijah Copper, a "Nova Level" vampire, who holds the position of White Commander under the royal family. This city also hosts many other families with Half-Nova, Level 6 Wizards, and Top-Grade Vampires.
10:00 AM – Falcon Family House
Two carriages with six horses were stationed at the gate of the family house. The space inside the carriages was magically enlarged to feel like a luxurious room. Inside, all the children from the family who attended the academy were preparing to leave. Even new admissions were present.
In the main hall, everyone was gathered as Arthar addressed them before their departure:
Arthar: "Listen, family members. I won't beat around the bush — the academy isn't what it seems. We have many enemies there. Be careful who you befriend. The person you think is a friend might turn out to be an enemy."
The new children nodded. Their families had warned them too. Everyone knew the history of the Falcon Family. Inside the family, they were safe — but outside, the world was their enemy.
Arthar: "If possible, stay close to your family members. Understood? Now go, get in the carriage. You'll take the Side A route. Good luck to those being newly admitted."
Duke: "Brother, I have a question…"
Arthar: "Yes, Duke?"
Duke: "We have a magical portal through the Mirror to reach instantly — then what's the need for this carriage? It's a waste of time."
Luke (angrily, standing behind Arthar): "You think this is a waste of time? We're showing the new ones what the outside world is like. And you call it a waste, Duke?"
Arthar (calming Luke): "Listen everyone, we're sending you by carriage so you can observe the outside world, understand its dangers."
Luke (to Duke): "Got it, Duke? This will give you a new experience."
Duke (muttering): "Experience my foot... just exhaustion."
Luke (furious): "What did you say? Say it again, louder."
Arthar (reading the situation): "Everyone, go to your carriages."
Everyone left the hall and headed toward the gate.
Arthar signaled Blake to stay back.
Arthar: "Blake, you'll have to look after everyone in the academy. And here — this letter must be handed to a man who will accompany Veronica."
Blake put the letter in his pocket and walked out.
Luke: "You should have delivered the letter yourself. I don't trust that man."
Arthar: "Hmm... we can only hope he gets it to the right place."
Outside, Duke was grumbling and yelling at the family members about the carriage journey.
Luke (watching him): "When will this boy grow up? We're doing this for his own good — to help him overcome his fear."
Arthar: "Ignore him. You know how he is."
Luke (worried): "That's why I worry. The Academy Side isn't safe for him. Many sons of his father's enemies will seek revenge on him. I understand his fear and anger."
Arthar (smiling): "Fear? The boy who wanders the Black Market alone — you think he fears an academy full of kids? Really?"
Luke said nothing.
Arthar: "Don't worry. He's been to places in the Black Market even Blake wouldn't go alone. Every time I sent Blake to fetch him, he found Duke in places that scared even him. You really think academy kids can harm him?"
Then they looked outside, where everyone was boarding the carriages and setting off.
