Chapter 70 - CHAPTER 70: PASTERRATION OF THE CRAPTLE

Chapter 70: Pasterration of the Craptle

Kimsi, eyes gleaming like a curious child (almost like Anya), asked eagerly,

Kimsi: "Now now! I'm so excited to know! Pleaseee tell me! Even the readers want to know, Lord Azuka!"

Azuka smiled faintly, his voice calm but heavy with memory like a father recalling his younger, brighter days.

Azuka: "Alright, alright… so here's the story."

He took a long breath before continuing his tone growing deep, steady, and nostalgic.

Azuka: "A very, very long time ago almost three quadrillion years the Tower stood in a single sacred land. A realm of purity. Back then, things were peaceful… almost too peaceful. The Tower grew strong, filled with achievers and wanderers. Every floor had hundreds, sometimes thousands of challengers. Life was simple. I was the guardian and ruler of the 43rd floor."

Kimsi: "Whoa! So you were that powerful back then?"

Azuka (chuckling softly): "Yes. Things were going smoothly, until one day a sound echoed through the Tower. The sound of a gate unlocking… a gate that had been sealed since the Tower's creation."

Kimsi (eyes widening): "Even since the Tower was created?! How's that possible?"

Azuka: "That's what shocked me too. I didn't even know such a gate existed. Then… he appeared."

Azuka's voice turned cold the air around him almost chilling as he spoke.

Azuka: "A being walked through that gate holding an icicle wand, his clothes frozen like battle-forged ice. His navy-blue hair fell to his knees, and his eyes… gods, those cold glowing eyes could freeze the bravest soul. Then he said, in a voice that could shatter mountains"

Being: 'I don't care what you think of me. I don't care what you worship. I don't care what you try. From this moment on, I will make everyone fall.'

Azuka: "With that, he summoned thousands of massive ice shards… but didn't attack. It was as if he was waiting. Then I realized… he wanted everyone gathered in one place before releasing his storm."

Kimsi (tense): "Wait… everyone?!"

Azuka (grimly): "Yes. Before I could react, the entire Tower population had gathered on the 43rd floor ready to face him. But they never stood a chance. The shards multiplied thousands, then millions until the entire sky turned white with death."

He paused, his voice cracking slightly.

Azuka: "When it ended, everyone… was gone. Wiped out. Only the hundred Guardians remained. Then that being looked at us and said"

Being: 'I show mercy on you all. From now on, test everyone who enters this Tower. That is your purpose.'

Azuka: "We were terrified. No one even dared raise their head. We all agreed. Then… he called out."

Being: 'Oi. You with the frost-flaked eyes.'

Azuka: "I stammered, 'Y-Yes?' He said only this: 'Come with me.'"

Azuka smiled faintly, almost bitterly.

Azuka: "I followed him. He took me to a place I'd never seen before a frozen sanctuary beyond the Tower's understanding. There, he asked"

Being: 'Do you wish to become a legend like me?'

Azuka: "I didn't even speak. But… somehow, he heard my heart's answer. From that day, he trained me. He taught me the truths of the Tower, of realms beyond imagination. I learned his name Azuren Frostera, ruler of ten realms. He told me once"

Azuren: 'I destroyed them all because one day, someone will come someone who could destroy this Tower if more than 110 souls remain. I had to do it myself.'

Azuka: "I didn't understand back then… but I obeyed. I called him Master. Over time, I grew attached to him. He wasn't just my master he was my savior, my everything. But… fate doesn't let such bonds last."

His tone darkened.

Azuka: "One day, he said, 'We go to war.' I followed. On that battlefield, I saw horrors beyond anything I imagined. Realms colliding. Gods screaming. And amidst that chaos, he fought alongside a woman her aura, a storm of purple shadows. Together, they were unstoppable… until he appeared."

He clenched his fist, shaking slightly.

Azuka: "An entity… whose presence erased meaning itself. And before I knew it, Master Azuren"

Azuka's voice broke.

Azuka: "was gone."

He fell silent. Kimsi's eyes trembled as Azuka whispered the moment that shattered him.

Azuka (brokenly): "I thought… you could never fall, Master… Why… why you? You're the one who showed me light. The one who made me see beyond my frozen heart… and now, you're gone."

He dropped to his knees, whispering into the void_

Azuka: "Please… come back. Do something with your ice orb, anything! If you can't… I'll do it for you. I'll live by your words. I'll train. I'll carry your will. And if I ever meet that 'child' you mentioned the one whose name starts with F_ I'll train him to bear your power. And whoever killed you, Master Azuren…"

His eyes glowed with cold fury.

Azuka: "I'll erase them from existence."

The battlefield trembled as frost and rage fused into silence.

Azuka (narrating softly): "From that day… I locked my feelings away. Permanently."

Kimsi (stunned): "So that's… your past? Lord Azuka… I__ I can't even believe it. You… you went through that?!"

Azuka (sad smile): "Hard to believe, huh? But that's the truth."

Author's Note:

Hehe, that one was intense, huh? 🧊🔥

I know it sounded like a history lecture, but hey_ sometimes emotion is history. 😁

Next chapter? Let's just say… Azuka's ice isn't the coldest thing you'll see.

♡ Thanks for reading, my dear readers! Stay frosty and keep guessing love ya! ♡
