Chapter 87 - CHAPTER 87: UNFOLDABLE CONNECTIONS

CHAPTER 87: UNFOLDABLE CONNECTIONS (P2)

So finally…

the true backstory of Hanuri begins.

---

The Birth of a Being Too Beautiful for the World

From the very moment Hanuri was born,

she was different - painfully, dangerously different.

Her charm wasn't normal.

It wasn't human.

It wasn't divine either.

It was something far beyond that.

Her cuteness, her voice, her eyes…

all of it was so overwhelmingly adorable

that even as a newborn, she could melt the heart of a stone statue.

Her charm only kept growing.

Infinitely.

Uncontrollably.

But the biggest question was:

"Can someone like this live a normal life?"

The answer was already whispered by Zeltra in the previous chapter:

> "Bruh… just how is she able to be this charming and playful

after everything she did in the past…!?"

So now,

her past unfolds.

---

A Life Without Parents

Hanuri never knew her parents.

They died before she could even open her eyes.

All she had was an uncle and an aunt_

two gentle souls who raised her like their own daughter.

Her aunt adored her.

Her uncle cried softly whenever he held her,

feeling blessed just to see her smile.

But everyone in the realm sensed something terrifying:

The unfathomable aura buried inside her.

A power too vast.

Too dangerous.

Too impossible to understand.

Because of that…

Hanuri grew up with no real friends.

Except for Zeltra.

And later, a few people inside the Holy White Castle.

Everyone else feared her.

Feared her potential.

Feared her purity.

Even the one friend she had…

was blind to her true feelings,

treating her more like a cute little creature

than someone who simply wanted a normal friend.

But Hanuri kept trying.

Patiently.

Quietly.

Innocently.

She tried again and again

just to have someone who would love her normally.

Someone

who wouldn't fear her.

But patience doesn't last forever.

---

The First Tragedy

The fear around her kept building,

and one day… they broke her.

Her heart snapped.

Her emotions overloaded.

Her power exploded.

And suddenly—

Hanuri lost control.

Her tiny childlike body

floated above the icy realm like an awakening disaster.

She didn't scream.

She didn't speak.

She just existed.

And existing was enough to shake the world.

An icy orb of destruction formed unconsciously in her hands.

Her uncle, her aunt, and Zeltra all rushed to stop her__

But it was too late.

In one burst of uncontrollable power…

Hanuri erased an entire icy realm.

Gone.

Vanished.

Nothing remained.

Zeltra only survived by transforming her body fully into ice.

Hanuri collapsed.

And when she regained consciousness…

She understood what she had done.

She cried.

And cried.

And cried…

Tears of a child

who never wanted to hurt anyone.

Zeltra tried to comfort her,

but pain like that leaves scars even time cannot erase.

Somehow_

even the author doesn't know how_

Hanuri recovered just enough to keep living.

But the damage was already done.

---

Years Later - Azuren Realm

Hanuri and Zeltra began living in Azuren's realm.

A fresh start.

A new place.

A chance to breathe in peace.

And for a while…

it seemed like she might finally escape tragedy.

She even made new friends - real ones,

or so she thought.

Until that day.

---

The Second Tragedy

Hanuri was glowing with joy,

excited to hug her friends.

But the moment she wrapped her arms around them_

a knife pierced her.

Blood dripped from her mouth as she gasped.

Hanuri:

"U-ugh… wh-why… besti?"

Her "friends" glared at her with hatred.

Fake Friends:

"Shut up!

You're the monster who destroyed your own realm!

You think you can do it here too!?"

Those words…

killed her far more painfully than the knife.

Hanuri didn't speak.

Her body did.

Her power acted on its own_

instinctively protecting her,

striking back without her awareness_

killing them instantly.

And when Hanuri finally realized what happened…

She broke.

Completely.

She screamed_

a scream filled with agony, betrayal, and self-hate.

She ran.

Ran until her legs couldn't move.

Ran until her breath vanished.

Ran until the world blurred.

Blood-soaked clothes.

Shattered soul.

Endless guilt.

Eventually, she gave up running.

And became a floating, empty creature…

drifting through the blank sky

begging silently for death_

begging to disappear

so she could never hurt anyone again.

Then suddenly_

A blazing, pure flash of white light

appeared before her.

And the chapter ends.
