Chapter 4 - Rock Star Royals

The moon lady shook her head. "Like I said, he was trapped. But his mind is here... around you." She pointed at her.

Kelsey stared at her in awe. "He's unconscious and still has the power to travel to the future?!"

Just how powerful is her man? Kelsey smiled happily. No wonder the witches feared him, their Queen even killed her only prince. "What era is this? How many years did I travel into the future?"

"A hundred years."

"Jeez," Kelsey chuckled, holding the moon lady's hands.

"Close your eyes," she said gently.

Kelsey obeyed. Suddenly, she felt herself falling from the sky. She wanted to open her eyes, but it felt like they were glued shut.

"Precious?! Precious!" She heard a faint voice. Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked around. "See? I told you she's awake!" someone screamed.

"Go tell the Queen, the princess is awake!" The maids danced joyfully and beamed at her. Kelsey frowned in confusion and tried to sit up, but two maids dressed in black and white quickly rushed to her side and helped her. One of them poured warm water into an expensive silver cup.

Kelsey took a sip and sighed as the warmth slid down her throat. "Hey, sister! I've missed you soooo much!" a girl, younger than Kelsey but with strikingly similar features, said excitedly.

My sister, Emma...Kelsey thought, gazing around the extravagant bedroom in awe. It was lavishly decorated in a royal, princess-like style, everything glittered with silver. They must really be obsessed with silver.

"Honey..." a melodic voice called from the entrance.

A beautiful, elegant woman entered the room, dressed in regal queen's attire. She was young, tall, and carried a powerful aura. But what truly shocked Kelsey was her silver hair, just like the wolf lady's. Confused, Kelsey glanced at her own hair and saw it was black. Even Emma's hair was black. Then how...?

If not for the fact that the woman had the exact same face as her mother, Kelsey would never have believed it. There must be a reason.

The maids bowed respectfully as the queen entered. She walked gracefully to the bed and embraced her daughter with warmth and relief.

"I thought I'd lost you to that bitch..." the queen muttered under her breath before pulling back and smiling at her daughter's face.

"You've grown into such a beautiful lady," she said, giggling with the maids and Emma.

"You were just a little girl when you fainted!" Emma giggled beside her.

"Not that little! She was sixteen back then," the queen corrected, placing a kiss on Kelsey's cheek. "Do you remember anything?"

Kelsey only stared at them with a confused expression."I need a mirror," she finally said. Emma had mentioned she lost consciousness at a young age, and now Kelsey was desperate to see what she looked like.

The queen gently stroked her hair as the maids brought a mirror to her. Kelsey collected it, hesitating before lifting it to her face.

Her eyes widened in shock. Whose reflection is this? she thought. The face staring back at her was undeniably hers, but more refined, radiant. Her skin was smoother, her features sharper, and there was an unmistakable aura of royalty... mixed with something darker.

The witchiness from the future... it stayed with me, she realised. She looked powerful.

"How old am I? What year is this? " she asked suddenly, convinced this version of her body felt older than her past self.

"You're twenty-two, my love. You've been unconscious for five years," the queen replied softly. " And this is 2025." She added.

Kelsey frowned. Just five years? How...? Didn't I grow up in that realm?

Her head began to pound with confusion. The more she tried to make sense of it, the worse the headache grew.

Queen Mia chuckled gently and ruffled her hair. "You won't understand everything right away. The evil spell took parts of your memory, you will remember everything within three days." She kissed Kelsey's forehead before rising gracefully.

"Take care of my princess," she instructed the maids as they bowed while she exited.

Emma sat beside her, taking the queen's place.

"How are you feeling?"

Kelsey gave a small nod. "What did you say my name is?"

"Precious," Emma said with a smile. "Precious Stone." She added.

Kelsey, now known by her true name, Precious, was finally living the life of a princess. For the first time, she wandered through an extravagant palace that seemed to have been pulled from her wildest dreams. Everywhere she went, the maids and guards bowed in silent respect. None of them says any words to her.

She had grown up poor, under Cynthia's cold care, wishing for a life like this royal life. Who would have thought she was actually a princess all along?

"The funniest thing you ever did was fainting after a breakup," Emma said with a chuckle, shooting her a playful look.

Precious blinked. "Wait, who was my ex-boyfriend? What's his name?" Emma rolled her eyes. "He's nobody, Precious. Just a rich freak named Donald. He cheated on you with your so-called best friend, Princess Anastasia."

Precious's expression turned cold. Seriously? That's who I chose to trust? Two complete idiots, one as a boyfriend, the other as a best friend?

She clenched her jaw. She didn't need anyone of them in her life. "Well, thank God you woke up just in time!" Emma said, shifting the mood. "A new school just opened for the royal children, and guess what? Your name is first on the list. You're getting admitted this week. Mom registered you early."

Precious narrowed her eyes. "What's the name of the school?"

"Rock Star Royal!" Emma replied with a dreamy-eyed look. She clearly adored everything about the school, the royalty, especially the luxury.

Precious froze and furrowed her brows. "Rock Star Royal?" she repeated and frowned. That name wasn't new to her.

She knew that school. It was abandoned and dangerous in the future. Located in one of the most cursed, desolate areas she'd ever heard of.

She remembered that place. And now... she was about to go there?

But Precious wasn't smiling. That school was shut down in the future... completely abandoned and feared.

She had read about it and heard a lot about it. She had even walked past its ruins more than once in the realm she had come from. No one dared step near it.

The rumours said the walls bled in the dark. That the spirits of royal children who vanished there still wandered the halls. That a forbidden spell had been unleashed inside its library, trapping part of the school between worlds.

It was declared cursed. Beyond saving. And now... she was supposed to attend it?

"Emma... the school was shut down in the future," she whispered.

"Permanently." She added "They said it swallowed students and even the teachers disappeared. Everyone was too scared to speak its name."

Emma blinked, the joy slowly draining from her face. "What are you talking about?" she laughed nervously. "It just opened! Not even up to a year. You're just remembering wrong."

Precious sighed deeply. She wasn't remembering wrong. She remembered seeing her name written on several walls, it wasn't a coincidence. She didn't think much about it since her name was Kelsey. The government took the university personally, labelling it as one of the most dangerous restricted areas on earth.

She looked at Emma and asked, "Who is the owner of the school?"

Emma hesitated. "Some royal council... Mom said they can be trusted. But no one really knows who gave the final order.

" Of course they don't. Suddenly, a sharp breeze blew in through the window. Precious turned. The trees outside were still, not a single leaf moving. But the cold wind?

Then she saw a letter on her table, a letter that hadn't been there a moment ago.

A black envelope. There's no name or stamp to identify the sender, just her name written in silver. 'To Princess Precious Stone'
