Cognito now has a space station. The massive conglomerate already had a spaceship headquarters in the form of Outer Haven and a lunar base in the form of Outer Heaven.
Cognito's work of super-science and engineering is ring-shaped with a radius of ten kilometers (6.2 miles). The ring itself is 1 kilometer thick (0.62 miles) and also 1 kilometer in height, mean two four- hundred-meter-long Outer Havens could be stored inside, nose to nose and still have two hundred meters of space between them.
The station walls are composed of layers of advance alloy, nano weave mesh, and additional Cognito-patented materials. The white plates that cover the surface of the station protect against heat, radiation, and space debris. They can also negate impact damage and self-repair any damage if needed. The windows are twenty centimeters thick (7.87 inches), protect against radiation, and resistant to damage, but also act as solar panels.
In order to protect the massive space station, there are multi-layered force fields that protect against metallic objects, high speed objects, projected energy, and heavy objects. There is also a field that protects against various forms of teleportation, including magic. Deflector fields keep micrometeoroids and space debris away, while thousands of space drones constantly cleaning up space debris.
Space debris (also known as space junk, space pollution, space waste, space trash, or space garbage) is defunct artificial objects in space—principally in Earth orbit—which no longer serve a useful function. There is a growing risk of damage or destruction of satellites, space stations and spacecraft from collision with debris in Earth's and the Moon's orbits. While most extraterrestrial ships have force fields and deflectors to clear their path, less advance ships and satellites are vulnerable.
Instead of the Space Station being powered by a single vulnerable power core, the Space Station is divided into modules, each powered by their own self-contained power source. There are three hundred sixty "micro-verse batteries", each with enough power to supply the entire ring and possessing surge protectors. Each of the three hundred sixty sections also possess computer cores which are networked together, which are linked to Cognito's own satellite network. A network of over a thousand satellites.
Inside the Gateway Station are gynoids doing labor, Star Wars style astromech doing maintenance, and cleaning robots resembling metal slimes keeping every surface clean and sterile.
"The Gateway station serves many purposes. The first is to monitor everything entering and leaving Earth's gravity. This means monitoring for everything from aliens to asteroids, including space debris."
There is an image of meteor caught is a force field bubble, floating in micro-gravity. Scans show the meteor's composition, while computers map out where it would have crashed (near Mexico City). The scans also show some sort of organism and the biohazard symbol. The meteor is then broken down by energy beams, reduced to particles.
"The second purpose is cleaning up space debris to allow further space travel. Earth doesn't need a case of the Kessler syndrome."
The Image shows spherical black-and-white robots gathering bits of trash - fragmentation debris from the breakup of derelict rocket bodies and spacecraft, small screws, and a screwdriver. These items are placed in nano-mesh containers like "space trash bags" before being taken in large "space trash trucks".
The Kessler syndrome (also called the Kessler effect, collisional cascading, or ablation cascade), proposed by NASA scientist Donald J. Kessler in 1978, is a scenario in which the density of objects in low Earth orbit (LEO) due to space pollution is high enough that collisions between objects could cause a cascade in which each collision generates space debris that increases the likelihood of further collisions.
"The third purpose of the Gateway Station is a shipyard where space vehicles can be built and maintained. This will allow earth to build their space forces for exploration and defense purposes. We can also repair and regulate ships that come to Earth, which is common among FTL races."
The image is of another Arcadia-class spaceship being built, one that resembles the Outer Haven. There are hundreds of astromech, gynoids, and other robots at work.
"The fourth purpose is to act as waystation for spacecraft, acting as border control for Earth and the rest of the universe. Spaceships can be scanned for banned items and illegal activity. The crews would also get medical scans for space illnesses and possible contaminants. It also acts like an airport for those coming from the moon or mars"
The video shows a green-skinned Ma'aleca'andran (Martian to Earthlings) and his bioship. He is in his full Martian form and he appears to arguing with a gynoid. One of the security robots' alerts Security and the Martian attempts to assault the gynoid and make its escape. He's quickly stunned. Several packages of white powder are removed from the bioship and text reveals it's a narcotic.
"The fifth purpose is scientific advancement. The station contains tens of thousands of sensors and is connected to a massive satellite network. Cognito has no only provided the world astronomists with space charts of the known universe, but have discovered stars and planets not on those charts. Scientific experiments can also be conducted in space with no danger to Earth."
The screen shows a new star and planets discovered and named by a young NASA hopeful. A boy whose only ten years old, so his face is covered. It then shows an Earth-size world in the Goldilocks zone of a star system. A space probe lands on the muddy surface of the planet and a flag goes up, showing a flag with the Earth on it. The text claims Cognito will terraform the world into Earth's first colony world.
"The sixth purpose is tourism. Cognito can show people the stars and I'm sure the rich and influential will be willing to pay."
Rorschach disguised as Weird Science Rick controlled by Dr. Genus switches the screen back to several world leaders and businessmen. These include US President Barrack Obama, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Joseph Harper, French President François Hollande, and Dmitry Medvedev representing Russia. There are many other representatives of other countries including Vlatava and Greater Bialya. As far as Businessmen, there is Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor, and Oliver Queen. The majority of these people have shocked looks.
"This is a historical day. The day humanity stepped out of the boonies of the universe and declared we exist and we matter."

November 23, 2012 – In addition to having a dedicated space station for public use, Cognito also found a new earth-like extrasolar planet. He sent his machines and claimed it in the name of Earth. There is a lot of politicians and scientists talking about Cognito. Just when you thought he couldn't surpass cleaning the world's oceans or building a giant crystal city in the arctic to counter global warming. He goes and claims an entire planet and begins to terraform it!
November 25, 2012 – A couple minor countries attempted to attack Cognito satellites with their own attack satellites, probably on the orders of there more powerful masters. They didn't stand a chance as everyone of Cognito satellites have shields and Gateway launched attack drones that attacked like wasps. The drones grabbed the attack satellites, "stung" them to disable them, and took them back to their "hive" to be devoured. Weird Scientist Rick even transmitted the video feed.
December 4, 2012 – I was enjoying some time with the girls, when Cognito announced the creation of the Star Academies, in with partnerships with Lexcorp, Wayne Industries, and Queen Industries. Academies for the intellectually gifted and savant inventors, institutions where they can get proper education and training for their future careers.
In other words, it's a school for mad scientists and crazy inventors. The academies teach them what they need to know along with morals and when they leave the Academies, they have jobs waiting for them. This means there are no people driven mad by the world not understanding their genius and becoming super villains because of their ego or need for money.
Neo's "Hunterverse" had one of these Academies with Gaige - The Mechromancer of Borderlands 2 - as a former student. She was a student until a rich bitch tampered with her Deathtrap robot and got "exploded".
December 3, 2012 – Cognito released more medical machines including the new Type-3 Bio-Scan Bed which could replace Ultrasound, X-Rays, and MRIs. I remember the times I underwent an MRI in my world and I'm glad no other person will hear what sounds like a canary dying over and over (chirp-thump).
December 8, 2012 – The Arkham Cleansing Incident. Arkham Asylum was attacked by a group of unknown mercenaries equipped with advance stealth gear. This occurred when Gotham's Bat Clan was busy with international league adventures. The doctors, orderlies, guards, and maintenance personal were rendered unconscious, but not physical or mentally harmed. As for the patients, they were altered. Those possessing physical deformities or scars were cosmetically altered too relative normal. Mental illnesses were removed along with associated memories, leaving amnesiac but completely safe and healthy people. Only the previous escaped patients of Arkham retain their madness. While some politicians complain about the law breaking and mental violations, the people of Gotham are grateful for the decrease in mental sickness.

"What has Cognito done now?" asks Black Manta
The Light's main topic tends to the massive conglomerate fueled by "the smartest man in the universe".
"This becoming Joke running." says Klarion
"Meow"
"They know what I mean, Teekl!"
Rorschach and Cognito wiped out the corrupted Dragons that ravaged China. Cognito then provided aid to the Chinese people, while the country itself fragmented. Currently, most of what was once China is a complete mess with the only stability being Hong Kong and refugee camps protected by Cognito's Iron Legion. Any would be Chinese warlord that attempted to take the resources of the camps have been annihilated in seconds with minimal loss of life for Cognito's forces. Not even one civilian in the camps has been killed, making the people look at the Legion as their heroes.
When the Light approached the metahumans of Hong Kong, the Iron Legion was there to reveal truths about their offers. They prevented any Meta from being taken by force, but allowed anyone willing to go with the Light. It's surprising how many Chinese meta would be willing to fight against weak-willed extraterrestrials for an immortal who was both Genghis Khan and Sun Tzu. It was the Iron Legion that actually told the Chinese metahumans the truth about Genghis Khan and erased the truth from the memories of those that refused. Even though the number wasn't what they expected, willing recruits can be considered better quality.
When Cognito created the massive nanomachine blobs known only as "Ocean Cleaners", Vandal and Ra's actually approved since it strengthened Earth's ecology. They allowed mercenaries of unaffiliated group to stage an attack to get information and quickly learned Doctor Genus wasn't just smart in science, but prepared for anything. There attempts to replicate the blobs have so far been unsuccessful, with one of the blobs destroying a middle eastern oil field before Black Adam destroyed it.
When Cognito created the massive crystal city Polaris to counter global warming, the Light was impressed. They were even more impressed by the barriers which annihilated Archer's mercenary unit. They attempted to send in spies, but instead of being attacked, they were invited in to look around and study as much as they wanted. This insulted the Light because it meant Doctor Genus didn't even consider the Light to be a threat.
One of the Light's men, a man with a history of mental issues who shouldn't have been on the mission, but was sent do a mis-file and being short on staff, cracked. He tries to shoot "Weird Science Rick" in the head only for the bullet to be caught by a force field and end up piercing the shooter's head. Rick didn't get angry, he just told them to "Take the garbage out when you leave".
An autopsy of the body later revealed the bullet, completely intact instead of fragmenting like it should have with words engraved on it. The real name of the soldier of fortune, his Light identification number, and exact time and place of death. At that point Klarion was laughing and the Brain was yelling "Connerie!" (Bullshit)
When Cognito created the Gateway Station, one of the first people he contacted was Lex Luthor and Queen Bee, even offered them along with other rich and influential a chance to see the place. He even sent a message to Lex Luthor's private email that the "immortal caveman was also invited". It was during a later visit by Vandal Savage that he learned Doctor Genus and Cognito can block Boom Tubes, they just let the Light continue their deals with Apokalips.
After much debating, the Light decided the Cognito Gateway station was a good thing as it made things more controllable. The routes Cognito makes to the universe would become paths for the Light to follow and expand upon. It's similar to how great explorers found routes in the new world, but it was the people that followed that conquered the new world.
"Did we ever figure out what that Martian was smuggling?" asks Luthor
"Cas'sia. The Martian equivalent of the spice cinnamon. It's harmless to Martians, but a powerful hallucinogen to humans and illegal to bring to Earth. I accidentally ate some back in the 1950s and thought I was Paul Muad'Dib for six hours." says Vandal Savage, with an odd smile, "That was the last time I ate Martian food."
"Wait. I thought Frank Herbert wrote Dune in 1965." says Luthor, not to mention Martian Manhunter didn't arrive on Earth until 1955.
"He did." says Vandal, "You should see what happens to a Martian that eats Oreos."
Klarion laughs as he remembers the disaster that was caused by that brand of creme-filled sandwich cookie.
Cognito is believed to be responsible for Arkham cleansing. The inmates were cured of both their mental and physical issues. The changes to physical bodies defy modern medicine with some patients regaining missing body parts and some have had their genetics altered. Harvey Dent looks as he did before the mob boss' acid scarred him and has no memories up to the point of the trial. Mary Louise Dahl was transformed from her perpetual child form (a result of systemic hypoplasia) into a beautiful adult woman, but doesn't remember her career after TV sitcom Love That Baby.
"We were pranked... Again." says Ra's.
Klarion perks up, while the others groan.
Recently, Dr. Genus of Cognito had taken to playing harmless, annoying pranks on the members. More than being annoying however, it also served as an underlying threat; that if he wanted to eliminate them, he could do so at ease and there was nothing any of them could do about it...
Vandal Savage (L-1) got a bunch of Chinese historical artifacts that should have been destroyed by the Dragon's rampage. Objects that once belonged to Genghis Khan, Sun Tzu, and some of his past identities. The containers were marked [Cognito Lost and Found]. There was also a life-size plastic nuclear bomb with the words "For Bear Killer who has everything"
Ra's al Ghul (L-2) got a giant birthday cake on his birthday (a day he had mostly forgotten) complete with 666 candles (he was born 1346). It was an absolutely massive hypoallergenic gluten-free cake with fondant and expert icing. It was big enough for every member of League of Shadows to get a slice. There was even a little plate for his grandson Damian.
Lex Luthor (L-3) got a collection of Superman Merchandise, over fifteen hundred Man of Steel-related items, which dominated every available inch of his personal, private, and work areas; even the carpets had been replaced. They even included a special Cognito Cable (interdimensional cable) DVD Boxset. He donated the merchandise to a Superman Museum, much to his hidden embarrassment, but kept the DVDs for useful information. The Death of Superman was very interesting, though it also made him wonder what he would actually do if the Man of Steel's death came to pass.
Queen Bee (L-4) got a life time supply of Cognito-brand baby supplies delivered to her home. Enough supplies that she could have multi-birth pregnancies over and over again until she hits menopause and still not run out of them. It's not like she isn't grateful for them, but it arrived in crates without warning and every single thing is yellow and bee-themed.
Black Manta (L-8 replacing L-5) ended up with submersibles filled with Cognito-brand nanogel cleaning slimes. The headquarters and his vehicles are sparkling clean and polished to absurd levels. Every single piece of trash and pollution was absorbed by the little slimes. Aquaman found his base because the sea life noticed how clean the area was and told him. He barely escaped with the message "You kept throwing trash into ocean, you need to clean up your act."
The Brain (L-6) received his lab flooded with ape plushies and monkey-themed valentines. Among the gifts was a life size painting of brain in a humanoid robotic body making out with an ape that looked like Monsieur Mallah complete with beret. Things have been awkward between them ever since.
Klarion the Witchboy (L-7) and Lord of Chaos thought he was immune to pranks. That is until Cognito sent Teekl a ball of otherworldly catnip. This catnip has hellish eyes and grinding teeth and whispered in dead guttural languages. When Teekl inhaled, Klarion spent a week tripping balls. Klarion wanted to buy more from Cognito, but Vandal managed to talk him out of it.
"So, what did happen this time?" asks Black Manta
"He apparently found Cadmus Kappa and altered the programming of the latest batch of clones." says the Brain, "Instead of the standard scientific or military background, they also added culinary, mechanical, and entertainment skills."
"So, we have a bunch of clones that in additional to their usual jobs are chefs, mechanics, actors, and entertainers?" says Queen, "That doesn't sound too bad."
"You have never seen four clones of Deathstroke do a quartet." says The Brain. "This also proves out computer security is clearly insufficient."
Suddenly, there is a loud beeping.
"What is happening?"
"Zut! There was an alarm at Cadmus Upsilon. Some sort of explosion combined with a sonic attack."
"Is the facility under attack?"
"I scanning the recordings. No. There was an accident. One of the subjects didn't react well to the new reality and released an explosion of... blood?"

January 13, 2013 – I went to a nice Chinese Restaurant with Jade in an actual Chinatown. It was a fun trip. Some teenager with a gun tried to rob the place, but Jade and me showed him our demon faces. He calmly put the gun down, politely told the cashier to police, and kneeled in a corner. The cashier and customers didn't react to our transformation or the reverse transformation. The Chef did give an extra order of Chinese orange chicken.
January 17, 2013 – I was visiting Lois in Metropolis, or I should say the girls wanted to see two-month-old Jonathan Kent. Oddly enough, Talia was there with baby Damian. I did mention in other timelines they become best friends. No trip can go without madness and a bunch "aliens" showed in battle armor. Me and the girls quickly tore them apart, revealing they were robot fakes made to distract Superman while the real criminals rob a business building. Their plan didn't work.
November 5 – Aqualina Capricorn debuted as Plastic Woman. With her elastic shape-shifting, she can make herself look like a human superheroine. She and Patrick captured a bunch of kidnappers and rescued the little daughter of a rich politician. The twist was the politician had always been anti-alien until Aqualina let slip she wasn't from America.
February 7, 2013 – While enjoying a little shopping trip, I ran into a young girl who turned out to a metahuman thief. She could teleport herself to any place she had been before or she could teleport others somewhere random. She tried to teleport me, but I grabbed her and caused her power to "glitch". We both ended up on Themyscira. The amazons attacked me thinking I was harming the unconscious girl, but after I proved immune to all weapons, I was able to explain things. Queen Hippolyta was interesting in meeting the man who destroyed all the cursed items and after a small bit of time Rorschach opened a portal so I could get back home. As for the little meta girl, she was an orphan running from an orphanage that didn't like metas, so I left her with the Amazons.
March 2, 2013 – Whispers of Angels. Around the world, there have been stories of a hacker making angelic imagery appear on televisions and computers. There governments have tried to trace and capture the hacker, but they have all failed. Even Cognito which now possesses the most advance computer network is unable to track down the "Cyber Angel".

I'm sitting on my couch watching "Soul Eater: Eclipsed Moon". I watched the original Soul Eater, but it ended with a rushed ending and that dumb punch of courage. This is an expansion following the manga, like Hellsing Ultimate and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I was about to watch the Mad Moon arc, when the image ripples and is filled with the image of feathery angel wings and a halo.
"What the actual... Wait a minute." I look closer at the golden ring with its runes. Runes which are actually code for Digimon, "Holy Ring"
When I say those words, the screen is filled with light and a small holographic figure appears on the coffee table. It's a humanoid woman with light skin and long pale blonde hair reaching her ankles. She is wearing a tight white dress with an exposed stomach and green heels. That mundane outfit is covered in armor. Her lower body above the knee is covered in green and gray armor with a jeweled cross symbol. Her upper body is covered in green-and-gray armor that makes her look robotic with large gears around the shoulders. The right gauntlet with feather-wing decoration is holding a weird golden lance and left hand is holding a green/gold kite shield with the image of unicorn complete with horn sticking out. On her head is an eyeless upper knight helmet with a cross and three metal animal heads decorating the top. The helmets pommel is long and red like a ponytail. On her back is four pairs of golden metal wings and one pair of feathery white wings near her hips.
"Ophanimon!?"
I watched Digimon when I was young and every chance I got. I watched Adventure, 02, Tamers, Frontier, Data Squad, and Fusion before they cancelled Saturday Morning cartoons. I saw clips from Tri, App and Digimon Adventure (2020).
"Help me, Ash Grey. You're my only hope." she says, sounding like a certain Star Wars Princess.
"What's the problem, little sister?"
The twist about Luke and Leia was it started off with them being the possible romantic interest, only for it to be revealed that they are twins separated at birth. This has led to few spoofs over the years.
"Months ago, the forces of Cadmus Upsilon began to invade other worlds looking for specimens for their cruel experiments. I and many others were captured, but I managed to escape to tell the world. The digital world of this Earth is unfamiliar and I looked for the brightest lights to show me the way. One light was an immense Halo in the sky, but I couldn't get pass their defenses. Then I saw your light shining like a star."
She must have tried to breach the Class 6 computers of the Gateway Station, but they were too strong. My cable box on the other hand as a Class 5 Computer Core by accident.
"Please help us!"
"Give me a second." I say opening my phone and call Neo.
"What's up, Ash?"
"Hey Rorschach, I just met a Holy Mother Digimon that needs us to stop Cadmus Upsilon's raiding of the multiverse."
"Give me a second. The Quest notice just came in."

"At least we won't have to fight all of them." he sighs, "It would be easier if we had to do was rescue CF. I would just portal in grab CF, and portal out leaving a bomb to take out the base."

Unlike Cadmus Alpha and Beta, Cadmus Upsilon doesn't have a mundane building on the outside. Instead, the entire fifty-two level facility is located underground with the surface containing a hidden entrance. The entrance is hidden so well, the group of heroes and vigilantes look like there standing in the middle of nowhere.
The Team for the Quest has gathered. If someone told me back in 2010 that I would be going on Quests against fortresses, I would have told that person they have the wrong guy. As I got used to my powers, I would begin to feel liberated. I have nothing to fear, so why not experience life. I decided never to join the public hypocritical bullshit of the superhero community or work for Batman's pathetic excuse for a black ops team. Now I joined my super-genius friend's anti-hero team to rescue people and slaughter villains.
Rorschach the Rick. My writing buddy from my original universe reincarnated with the powers of The Gamer. He worked as the vigilante Rorschach until he gained Rick-Sanchez-level intelligence. With a combination of stolen or rewarded resources, he's crafted himself a business empire called Cognito Inc. He's the leader of today's Quest.
Ash Grey the Doomsday. That's me. An unemployed Canadian fanfiction writer reincarnated as a nigh-indestructible monster born of mad science. I can tank any hit, burst through any barrier, and apparently, I'm an insanely lethal god-killing projectile.
Blackfire the Tamaranean. The dark warrior Princess of Tamaran and the traitor that brought down her world. If you own people plotted to kill you, you would betray them first. On Earth, she found herself liberated of pressures of royalty. She found freedom to explore her awakened powers.
Starfire the Tamaranean. The light warrior Princess of Tamaran and beloved of her world. She was loved by everyone, but she never saw the depths of her sister's sorrow. On Earth, they are not princesses bound by tradition and rules, they are sisters in blood and in battle.
Raven the Sorceress. The half-demon daughter of galaxy-feared Trigon the Terrible. She was trained to control her powers and trained to fight the forces of darkness. She got an obscene amount of training in the depths of Hell next to me. She is amazing.
Jade the Shadow Queen. The original was a bratty niece of Jackie Chan, who helped create a team to fight that world's supernatural forces. She was born of darkness and grew in the world of shadows to become a Queen. Now, she rules a place in my heart and stands by my side.
Priss the Voodoo Dancer. A clone of a beautiful dancer from New Orleans. Her mixture of extraterrestrial genes has her impressive psychic abilities. She has grown close to me and the girls. She even joined us on a trip to alien gambling world. She is soft spoken but not to extend of her fictional counterpart.
Max the Voodoo Fighter. A clone of a beautiful dancer from New Orleans. Her mixture of extraterrestrial genes has her impressive physical and shapeshifting abilities. She is very much like her "twin sister", but aggressive and blunt suiting her more physical traits.
"Why didn't you ask Maxima to join this Quest?" I ask Rorschach
"I did, but she is currently busy finalizing the settlement of the remaining stragglers and talking to politicians."
Other than the Eight members of the Team that will breaking in Cadmus Upsilon, there are eight other people that are helping us. Instead of entering the building, they are handling things on outside - preventing escapes of the bad guys and helping the escape of the victims.

"Several reasons. One of the biggest reasons is if the League made a move, the Light and thereby Cadmus would know. It's no secret that the Light knows who each League member is and they do monitor them. It's one of the reasons the League is reliant on the Team."
"Why not call Young Justice?" asks the elastic man, referring to the main team. The others being the Green Lantern dominated Emerald Knights, the Amazon dominated Bombshells, and the meta-clones of Gen 13 Team. There is also an independent hero team called Speedsters, mostly composed of those that dressed as a Flash during the Halloween Event
"Similar reasons. Gen 13 are the least monitored team. Unlike the other teams, you don't have any mentors among the League. You were never sidekicks and don't have memories of being heroes. This makes you more willing to listen to my orders." says Rorschach.
"I listen to the smartest person in the room and that is Rorschach." I say with a smile, "So, what's the plan?"
"First is preparation. I've already hacked into Cadmus Upsilon's system and looped the surveillance system, including the satellite imagery. That's why we can stand out here like a bunch of jackasses without setting off alarms." says Rorschach, "I've also disabled communications between levels and altered the codes on the locks so they will accept four 'ones' as a password to all levels and doors. They also now read all biometric data as acceptable."
"How did you manage that?" asks Caitlin, her scientist smarts aroused.
"Cognito appliances. This base has fifty-two levels that include a hundred and eight coffee makers, twelve food printers, and over a thousand cleaning robots, all made by Cognito." says Rorschach, "Doctor Genus makes machines and controls everything he makes. Just because someone else owns one of his machines doesn't mean he stops controlling it."
Rorschach draws his Portal Gun and points it at the ground.
A portal opens up and drops a cylindrical machine the size of an oil barrel before vanishing. Light traveled up its side before it fires a disk-shaped drone high into the air where it hovers. A red dome appears before crumbling to nothing. A second after the old barrier's destruction, a beam shoots from the machine and hits the drone, which turns the beam into another dome barrier. The iridescent bubble is only visible for a few seconds before becoming invisible.
"Cadmus's hybrid barrier is gone. This barrier will prevent Cadmus from sending or receiving messages. It also blocks teleportation and portals in and out, including Boom Tubes. Not even a Father Box will be able to get the Light's forces in here." says Rorschach, he then pulls out a small case from his Inventory, "Next is these."
He opens the case to reveal to reveal small patches. They are rectangular and translucent with circuitry patterns and a red spot in the center. They resemble the Cure-tech that Young Justice used to counter the Starro-tech the Light used to brainwash the League. He gives one to each member of the team, except for me, then to the members of Gen 13 and the Plastic Couple. He places it against his bare wrist and it glows before being absorbed.
"Cadmus Upsilon is experimenting with a Starro-tech variant to control its subjects and it's possible they would try to control you as well." says Rorschach, "This new Cure-Tech makes you immune to anything that uses Starro biomatter as a component"
"What about, Ash?" asks Grunge
"Thanks. I don't need it." I explain, "I'm immune to practically everything. My body would destroy it like it would destroy Starro-tech. Do you have enough for the test subjects? Wait a minute... anyone monitoring the Starro-tech will notice the loss of control"
"I have already thought of that" Rorschach, handing out plastic packs of Cure-tech patches. "Doctor Genus told the Light that he was making a Cure-tech that would render all Starro-tech variants useless, so they stopped research, development, and production. If I'm correct, Cadmus Upsilon only has enough Starro-tech 2.0 to equip a couple hundred subjects."
"Cognito talks to the Light often?" asks Caitlin
"Doctor Genus and Cognito has nothing to fear from the Light, and he likes to rub their noses in it. Vandal, Ra's, and Lex tolerate it because Cognito makes the world and humanity stronger."
Soon, everyone is immune to the combination of an alien bio-organism, nano-technology and magic.
He then pulls out a computer tablet makes a 3D image of the Cadmus Upsilon base. The hidden underground base is divided into fifty-two levels like the other bases, but forty-two levels above are separated from the remaining ten levels below.
"Cadmus Upsilon may be foolishly looting the multiverse and risk unleashing apocalyptic cosmic horrors, but they are not completely stupid. There is a multi-layered barrier surrounding the bottom ten, where the main target and the subjects are stored. It's designed too physically, magically, and spiritually severe those levels from the world." says Rorschach, "Any subject not under Starro-tech control will be located in the Iso Ten."
"I've equipped the Party with stun weapons. They are like the Daemonite-Busters, but they will allow you to stun subjects that are being controlled." says Rorschach, "Unfortunately, the eight hundred and thirty-two soldiers won't be talked out of fighting like the Genomorphs of Alpha or the clone soldiers of Beta."
"Why not?" asks Plastic leaning closer, which means his body is stretched out like silly putty.
"The Cadmus Beta soldier were clones of Slade Wilson programmed with memories of an advance soldier with a normal home life. Stable and reasonable. Upsilon Soldiers are programmed to be fanatically loyal to Cadmus and the Light with memories of a family being killed in a conflict between heroes and villains. These are the kind of people who would rush Superman wearing a vest of C-4 and Kryptonite."
Mentioning Kryptonite makes me drool a little. I don't have a digestive tract and still get cravings.
"What's worse these clone troopers actually have brain chips. The chips keep them loyal and obedient. So even in the event a clone goes against orders or is captured, the chip detonates."
"Their heads explode!" yells Grunge, "Not cool."
"Why didn't the Beta soldiers have those chips?" asks Caitlin, "If they are in some of troops, why not all of them."
"The Cadmus bases are semi-independent of each other with different policies for each one. Beta wanted stable, easy to control clones. Upsilon wanted fanatics willing to die for them."
"Getting Control Freak out is more important." I say, interrupting, "I mean Alex Sky."
"Control Freak?" asks Roxy, popping her gum, "Weird cape name."
"Control Freak was the name a villain in the Teen Titan series." says Starfire
"It's his counterpart in this world, Alex Sky, we are trying to save. He has the power with the help of a remote he created to summon anything from a television. Sci-fi weapons, magical items, McGuffins, and most importantly super powered beings. Those are the other subjects in need of rescuing."
"So, we are saving a villain?" asks Rainmaker, not looking happy.
"He was a villain in Teen Titans animated show." says Rorschach, "Here, he's just an innocent fanboy with a magic remote in this universe who watches too much TV."
"I was also a villain in the animated show. Always doing things to Star." says Blackfire, wrapping her arms around her sister.
"You were a villain in this universe and you still do many things to me." teases Starfire.
"You don't complain as much."
The entire Gen 13 team are turning red and according to Caitlin the group is oozing hormones. Plastic Woman wraps her hands around Pattrick's head, who is already covering his face in embarrassment.
Poor Starfire, she was corrupted by her sister.
"Sublime was the leader of Gen 13's rivals the Deviants under IO witch Ivana and my body was an apocalyptic monster that killed Superman" I add, "Nobody is the same as there fictional selves."
"Let's getting moving before the drugs wear off." says Rorschach.
"What drugs?"
"Hours ago, when I messed with the Coffee machine and Food Printers, I added some special ingredients. The soldiers and scientists will not be at their best."
Rorschach must have selected Easy Mode when he got The Gamer.
That or Difficulty Settings were irrelevant when you were Rick-Level Intelligent. Either/or.

As the eight entered the facility, they divided into smaller teams. Rorschach and Ash Grey went solo, going East and West, while Raven and Jade went North, and Blackfire and Starfire went South. The Kitaen sisters stay towards the center of the underground structure.
The reason they did this was to prevent the Cadmus soldiers and subjects from getting behind them or reaching the surface to attack Plastic Couple or Gen 13 who are on the surface.
The first two dozen levels where easy as enemy communications are disabled, all doors open with a single number of the keypad and the majority of the guards and scientists are sleepy from the drugs in their coffee and food. Some of them were even sleeping, when the invaders stunned them.
When they do find status chambers containing the ninety-six hundred, they electronically tag the chambers and BB-8 robots roll in to transport the chambers out through portals. They don't have time to explain who is in the liquid-filled containers as they only have a limited amount of time.
In cases where fights do occur, they are massacres.
The clone soldiers even with their skills and fanaticism are not match for the Eight. Rorschach's retro-futuristic arsenal can kill them in an absurd number of violently graphic ways that could only be animated on a digital streaming service. The soldiers can't even harm him due to the Dragon blood rendering him immune to physical weapons and shields and clothing dispersing directed-energy attacks. One clever soldier attempt to close the emergency doors, but an anti-metal beam liquifies the 10 cm wall of steel and the metal on the guard. The Guard collapses dead as the brain chip chemicals are released.
They can't harm or even slow down Ash Grey, with his thunderous blows shatter bone and liquifying internal organs. Attempting to use barriers to slow him down also fails, as he can tear down any physical barrier if he doesn't use one of his skills to disintegrate it. Force fields are even more useless as he can walk through them, not taking any form of damage, but sometimes burning out the generators.
When the soldiers encounter Raven and Jade, all they hit is illusions before blades of darkness pierce and cut them down. In the case of physical barriers and force fields, they can bypass them by travelling through the shadows, which thanks to the emergency light there are many. In the case of overwhelming numbers, Queen Jade simply summons a horde of Shadowkahn to "Zerg rush" them.
The Kitaens are new to combat, but they have been getting training. The soldiers lack any form of psychic resistance, so Priss's telepathy renders them unconscious or forces them to fire on comrades. Those that get to close are knocked away by moves she learned from watching Star Wars. Max's shapeshifting allows her to regenerate and resist attacks. She can also generate claws, spikes, blade-like fins, spine-covered tails, and other extensions of her body which she uses to lethal efficiency. The Central Elevator's barriers and fields were disabled by Rorschach, so the soldiers don't even have those to protect them.
On Level 24, the remaining scientists have begun to send up mind-controlled subjects. Rorschach's first opponent is a six-foot-six humanoid dressed in black-and-white metal power armor with numerous blue-white lights. Rorschach instantly recognizes Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark, the Marvel Comics hero known as Iron Man. The controlled hero is wearing the Iron Man Armor Mark 50, better known as the Endo-Sym Armor. During a time when Tony's morals were inverted, he created an armor from full liquid smart-metal based on the physiology of the alien symbiote (Klyntar).
Stark's repulsor beams each capable of slicing vehicles in half shoot at Rorschach, only to pass through a hologram. Iron Man scans the room for his target.
"Nice try, Stark." says Rorschach from everywhere, "You're one of the smartest people in your world, so you must have been taken by surprise. How did the Starro-tech get pass your defenses? Was it because of magical component or a technology more-advanced than your own? Not that I expect a mind-controlled person to answer."
Iron-Man releases a wave of energy, that reveals Rorschach's invisible form. Iron-Man fires more energy beams which are deflected by a barrier, before he goes in for a physical attack. The punch fails to impact with the Rick-Smart Gamer, instead it passes through Rorschach as if the super-genius was a ghost. The following backhand sends Rorschach flying down the hall, but Rorschach lands on his feet.
If this adventure was before the Day of the Dragons, he would have lost a huge chunk of his Hit Points from Iron Man's backhand. Most humans would have been torn in half by the blow of mind-controlled Iron Man, but not someone with a Gamer's body. After the Day of the Dragon, due to the blood of Golden Earth Dragon, his body became like steel and immune to weapons. He only loss the amount of HP he would have lost from a gunshot before the day (in the rare case he didn't have a shield).
He pulls out a retro-futuristic black-white gun from his inventory and fires an absurdly powerful beam. The first laser-like beam of unknown properties misses, but pierces everything in its path. It pierces every wall and goes kilometers through the ground, leaving a trail of molten metal and embers. The second beam hits its target, but Iron-Man's Endo-Sym absorbs the beam.
Now, glowing with power he rushes towards Rorschach and grabs the man, pushing him through a wall and holding him in a crater of another. Suddenly, Iron-Man collapses as the HUD is flooded with error messages.
"You should be more careful what you eat, Stark. The anti-metal beam at full intensity can ignite silicon and aluminum particles in dirt. It also messes up energy-absorbing tech." says Rorschach as he calmly gets out the crater, "The Cure-tech I left inside your body when I phased through should trigger any second now."
Iron-Man collapses unconscious.
"Now."
A BB Droid rolls in through a portal, looks at Stark in his armor, then fires blobs from an emitter. The black polymer blobs cover Iron-Man, both retraining him and securing him like a stretcher. The cocooned Stark is then lifted on wheels and pulled through a portal by BB.
Suddenly, Rorschach hears something above him, crawling in the vents. Part of his mind wonders why people in this universe would make air vents sturdy enough to crawl inside, when his and Spaceman's original world has things like service tunnels. It's a serious design flaw and weakness in security, as Detective John McClane proved in the first Die Hard movie.
Rorschach was only mildly surprised when tendrils of prehensile lilac hair wrapped around him before pulling him up into the vents.

I'm momentarily blinded by a crimson beam, like I had a barcode reader shone in my face. When my vision clears, I can only stare at the people before one of them tries to impale me with metal-coated claws. I notice my stunner has been damaged and is inoperable.
"I'm fighting the X-Men!" I say in surprise. You think I would be used to weirdness, but fighting some of my favorite characters still reaches my non-existent heart.
The one who blinded me with the optic blast is Scott Summers known as Cyclops for his eyewear, the team leader and most rule-abiding one. Those energy beams could mow down a forest, but all they do is interfere with my sight. After getting heat vision to the eyes, eye beams cease to impress me.
With a burst of speed, I'm next to him and snap my fingers next to his head. Adding a little destructive power to my finger snap won't match Thanos' snap, but it does create a shockwave. I once saw a badass magician called Tatsuya do this trick and I'm happy to watch Cyclops collapse.
The redhead with psychic powers is Jean Grey. She is capable of attacking a person's mind or attacking them physically with objects thrown by telekinesis. My Doomsday body possesses Psychic immunity, so she can't touch my mind and any telekinetic field that touches me dissolves. She left with shooting rocks and debris at me.
I catch and throw one of the larger pieces of concrete back at her. She has to concentrate to stop the project before it can hit. I get close while she's catching the piece of wall and punch the fragment. It violently explodes and there is a sound like metal beam hitting concrete pavement. The explosion is like a giant shotgun blast and fragments of concrete strike and pierce Jean. Her bloody unconscious body slides across the floor.
Storm is unleashing nature's wrath against me – wind, ice, and lightning. It doesn't stop me, but it does slow me down. My seven-foot-six battle form is very heavy, but the ice and hurricane force winds cause it to slide. The flashes from the lightning and the thunder in my ears is annoying. I have Kryptonian senses, so even if they don't harm, they do cause discomfort.
I'm struggling to catch the weather goddess, when I manage to whip an electrical cable around her. I pull her close, like I'm using Indiana's famous bullwhip, but I don't go in for a kiss. She may be very beautiful, but I would never kiss a girl who's under any influence. Instead, I stab her with needle thin bone spike, this one loaded with a sleeping toxin. It took a lot of practice and training to make a poison that would make a target sleep for days instead of shutting down their CNS permanently.
Rogue flies at me and delivers a strong punch, but only succeeds in hurting herself. It finally hits me what's strange about this group, beyond them being X-Men. I noticed early in the fight that they were the X-Men of Earth-11052 – 2000's X-Men Evolution. I recognized the unique goth outfit Anne-Marie wore in the show. In that universe, Rogue never drained Carol Danvers and got FISS superpowers. So, what Universe does this Rogue come from?
I grab her arms and release a poison gas breathe from my mouth directly into her face. It's the same toxin I used to Storm in a vaporized form, but doesn't last long in air. I also can't use too much or she'll stop breathing altogether. She kisses me trying to drain my powers, but that also fails. During my Hell trip, a succubus tried to drain me and learned it didn't work. She knew this for a whole ten seconds before Raven sliced her to pieces.
Normal poison won't work on my next opponents. James "Logan" Howlett, also known Wolverine doesn't remember his real name. The Canadian-born mutant lost his memories after he murdered his biological father for killing the man, he thought was his father. He lost even more memories when the clandestine organization Weapon X tried to turn him into a mutant-killing weapon. After they messed with his mind, they also add an adamantium coating to his bones including his bone claws. The beautiful woman next to him is Laura Kinsey, also known as X-23 and Talon. She is the original female clone of Wolverine created by evil fascist organization HYDRA. I'm actually a big fan of her and Wolverine.
They are probably the worst mutants to fight against me. There Adamantium coated claws can't pierce by grey hide and even if they could, I don't have internal organs to damage and I would instantly heal faster than they can. My nano-edge bone spikes on the other hand can easily pierce them avoiding the unbreakable bones. The bones are also so durable that the two can't cut them with their strength, despite the blades themselves being indestructible. Those bones inject toxins that negate accelerated healing factors, which is their main powers. I staple them to a wall and leave them to pass out.
Katherine "Kitty" Pryde, also known as Shadowcat, tries to leave objects in my body while she's intangible. It would be effective, if I hadn't already been harmed by phase-shifting. I adapt to what harms me and become immune to it, so when Kitty tries, she bounces off my harder-than-steel body like running into a wall. This means she also can't phase through my backhand, which knocks her unconscious.
Kurt Wagner, known as Nightcrawler, tries teleport me through the brimstone dimension, but that also fails. Due to my adventures and experiments. various forms of teleportation fail to work on. Only portals, opening in space themselves, seem to work. The blue-furred devilish mutant's attempts fail to shift me through dimensions and I toss him away. He hits a table with an audible crack of bone and collapses in pain. Everything tends to be fragile when compared to me.
Hank McCoy, also known as Beast, is different than I expected. Originally, he was just a muscular man with large monkey hands and feet, but a serum he used to suppress his mutation ended up turning him into blue ape-like being. It appears he had gone through a secondary mutation, now resembling a blue-furred feline humanoid. He is superhumanly strong compared to humans, but compared to me he's a teddy bear. I hug the furry scientist with crushing force until he passes out in my arms and toss him aside to prevent him from being frozen.
Robert "Bobby" Drake, the X-Man Iceman, possesses the ability to control ice and snow like many of this world's Ice-based villains. He also has the secondary ability to transform his body into living ice.
Attempts to trap me inside a glacier, but I've broken out of harder stuff. I rush forward before he can ice up the hall more than it is and strike the man. His living ice body shatters into fragments no bigger than ice cubes with the exception of his head and a leg. I'm not sure if he's alive or dead, but I do remember he once regenerated from a similar state.
Suddenly, there is a burst of fire and Jean Grey rises from the ground. The psychic flames take the form of a screaming falcon-like bird. This Jean Grey possesses the Phoenix Force - one of the oldest known cosmic entities, representing life that has not yet been born, as well as the forces of creation and destruction. I have to be careful or I'll be flung into deep space.
"Are you back to normal, Phoenix?" I yell to the psychic embodied by cosmic power
"I am restored." says Phoenix, then she lets the aura fade and returns back to being Jean, "I am no longer enslaved by these people, but who are you?"
"Ash Grey the Doomsday. No, I'm not related to Apocalypse, I don't have the lips." I say, trying to sound funny with her friends bleeding all over the place, "Give me a second and I can get your friends some medical help."
Portals open and BB Units roll in. Phoenix watches as they secure the unconscious X-Men and cart them through the portals. She almost bursts into tears at the sight at the state of her friends and family. Bobby is the worst, looking like a shattered ice statue instead of anything living.
"Boss Rorschach has a place set up for you and the other nine thousand victims of Cadmus."
"NINE THOUSAND!"
"Cadmus Upsilon has captured a man named Alex Sky and used him to capture over nine thousand six hundred subjects from other worlds for their research. Think Weapon X times infinity. Me and my Team are eliminating the soldiers and scientists, while rescuing those we can."
"I can... I can..." says Jean, before collapsing to her knees, "Dammit. My body was pushed too far while being controlled."
"Go with your team to the medical facility, Jean" I say, "If I can take on the X-Men, I can take on anyone. Also, Rorschach is smarter than Iron Man, Ant Man, Mister Fantastic, and Doctor Doom combined."
Jean is surprised by my absolute certainty in that fact.

3rd POV
Three kunoichi-shadowkahn are dispersed by the impact of a red-white-and-blue shield composed of vibranium-steel. It returns to the hand of his it's star-spangled master, a super soldier of World War Two brought into the modern era. He is Steven "Steve" Rogers, known as Captain America.
Three more shadow elemental servants are shot dead by his partner. James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes went through intense black ops training to become Captain America's partner during World War II. He was presumed dead, but later emerged as a brainwashed assassin with a bionic arm – The Winter Soldier.
Another four are killed by a beautiful red-haired assassin in a skin-tight catsuit. The beautiful Natalia Alianovna "Natasha" Romanova was raised to be the greatest assassin of Soviet Union – Black Widow - by the people of Red Room. She eventually became an Agent of SHIELD to do (morally) good or at least better than she had done for the Russians.
The fourth and final member of the group of mind-controlled Avengers is Clinton Francis "Clint" Barton, known as Hawkeye. A former circus performer and criminal-turned-hero. His speed with the bow surpasses normal human limits and the arrows range from simple sharp steel to trick arrows that can match anything in Green Arrow's arsenal.
Jet black tentacles emerge from the darkened shadows, but the heroes are already moving. Cap uses the edge of his shield to knock away tentacles, blocking strike after strike. Hawkeye dodges while using his very durable bow to push away tendrils. Black Widow and Winter Soldier use acrobatics and combat knives to cut through the manifestations of eldritch darkness.
"Impressive." says Jade as she appears from patch of darkness on the ceiling and lands between the four. The four open fire with their Cadmus Upsilon standard handguns, but the bullets fail to hit. As the four get closer, Jade sinks into a pool of darkness that then explodes into a mass of shadow tendrils. The four Avengers are thrown into the walls.
Black Widow tosses some small black spheres, which turn out to be flashbang grenades. The intense light causes the shadow tendrils to dissolve into smoke and vanish. The four then have to turn and grapple with four more Shadowkahn. Jade rises from the floor, away from them and places her hands on the floor causing it to turn black.
Raven appears with the back of her right hand pointed towards the four. On the back of her gray hand is a symbol glowing in white, the A symbol of Avengers. Four more glowing symbols appear, each one representing one of the Avengers - a blue shield, a white arm, a red spider, and purple bow and arrow. Those symbols merge with the Avenger symbol as she casts a spell.
The Avengers can't dodge as the blackened floor beneath them holds them in place. It's as if Jade used industrial epoxy to stick them to the ground. The spell casted on them makes their weapons brightly glow and freeze in place. Captain America's shield and sidearm, Winter Soldier's gun and arm, Black Widow's guns and bracelets, Hawkeye's bow and quiver.
"New spell?" asks Jade as her Cognito bracelet transforms into retro-futuristic ray gun. She aims and shoots all four Avengers in quick succession. Hawkeye manages to throw a knife, but Raven catches it with her telekinesis. Raven disperses the spell and the Avengers slump to the ground.
"It reads the opponent's 'symbol of power' and then holds that symbol in place."
"Would have been more useful against those other two – Iron-Man and Thor?"
Their boyfriend is a fanboy who likes to talk and has access to the best cable tv in the multiverse. They absorbed some facts over time. It helps when they themselves are "fictional characters".

In the Marvel multiverse, Dr. Reed Richards, Benjamin Jacob "Ben" Grimm, Dr. Susan "Sue" Storm and Jonathan Lowell Spencer "Johnny" Storm were transformed by an event. In some universes, they were on board a space ship, when they were exposed to radiation of a cosmic storm. In other universes, they were mutated when they entered the Negative Zone -a dying ancient universe.
In most known universes, they each gained different powers. Dr. Richards gaining a fluidic body of elastic rubber, able to stretch into any shape. Ben Grimm was transformed into a monster of solid stone with immense strength. Dr. Storm gained invisible force fields that made her as a transparent as air and would only grow stronger with her confidence. Johnny Storm gained the ability to generate and manipulate immense heat and flame.
In other universes, the trip resulted in different powers. A couple weeks ago, Alex Sky opened four portals to some episode of "What If?" and Cadmus caught four different examples.
In one universe, all four gained pyrokinetic abilities and attempted to heroes. A child burning to death during one of their adventures broke the team. Sue became a Nun out of guilt, Reed dedicated himself solely to science, and Johnny became Race Car driver with no fear of flame. After tragedies, only Ben Grimm succeeded and became the Avenger known as Human Torch.
Blackfire and Starfire are able to survive in the cold vacuous expanse of deep space, resist the intense surface heat of stars, and are the immune to radiation of stellar phenomenon. Ben's plasma flames can melt the special steel alloys and reinforced concrete of Cadmus Upsilon, but they do little against the two beautiful princesses. Ben is a skilled fighter, which has improved with his time on the Avengers, but he's no match for two trained by the Warlords of Okaara. Blackfire finishes him off with a video game inspired move that sends Ben flying down the hall.
Ben's unconscious body slides to the next opponent.
In one universe, all four gained plasticly powers and thought them silly. Reed used his powers to help around his lab, while Ben and Sue never used their powers. Only Johnny Storm became an entertainer under the name "Mister Fantastic".
Johnny never trained to fight as he was an entertainer. He studied business, acting and acrobatics instead of combat and tactics. The most physically stressing thing he has done is acting in a strenuous porn movie. Extreme heat and cold both have adverse effects on the superhuman's powers and he is also vulnerable to strong energy blasts. The Tamaraneans knock him down and then stun him.
In one universe, all four became deformed monsters with immense physical power. Unstable to live in human society, they were forced to live the rest of their lives on an island of monsters. One of most tragic was Susan Storm a beautiful woman trapped in a hideous mute form. When the portal was opened – the She-Thing was captured.
She-Thing shares the same powers as Theodore Sallis, the being known as Man-Thing (Marvel Equivalent to the Swamp-Thing). A malleable plant-based body with plant-manipulating abilities and an empathic ability that secretes acid in the presence of fear. In other worlds that would menacing, but since the Day of Dragons there has been a flood of people with plant-based powers and heroes (including Blackfire and Starfire) have trained in case they needed to fight a plant person.
It also doesn't help that separation from both the swamp environment of Monster Island and separation from the other members of her Four, her powers are rapidly weakening. After several barrages of starbolts and blackbolts, leaves her to collapse into dormancy.
In one universe, all four gained the powers of invisibility and promptly recruited as members of S.H.I.E.L.D., Reed being the Head of Laboratories. As an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., he went on many missions with his team and his powers grew. He became famed as SHIELD's "Invisible Man".
Reed is the most dangerous of the Four, as he is able to render himself, his gear, and his weapons invisible, combined with his intellect. He's able to shoot, move and shoot again. Blackfire and Starfire take a few hits, before Starfire spots a vacancy in the smoke (caused by the damage Ben Torch caused) and released starbolts that detonated in brilliant flashes. Despite being invisible, he has the ability to see his targets, which means he can still be blinded. While in pain, he was stunned by Blackfire.

"What the Fuck!"
Priss & Max have become familiar with video game terms in the Doomsday Bunker. While Ash spends most of his time building and destroying things in Minecraft, the other girls have given other games a try. With Rorschach supplying the best in the multiverse, they were bound to find a set they like. If they compared this Quest to a video game, they would say it wasn't balanced.
The two Kitaen sisters are fighting five males with spider powers. The five males all possess superhuman physical abilities, specialized for agility and dexterity, with the ability to stick on any surface. They all wear spider-theme costumes, but they are all unique.
The Peter Parker was a normal nerdy kid living with his aunt and uncle and getting bullied at school. Then he was bit by spider and got superhuman abilities. He originally intended to become famous and make money off his new abilities, but the tragic loss of his uncle due to his irresponsibility led to him becoming the original costumed hero Spider-Man.
After the death of Peter Parker's girlfriend Gwen Stacy at the hands of Green Goblin, Peter and Gwen's creepy professor cloned them. Professor Miles Warren calling himself Jackel created the clone to destroy the original. In the end, the clone became his own person and called himself Ben Reilly. Scarlet Spider has been dead before, but death in comic books is not finite if you're popular.
The most dangerous trait of the original and his clone is a precognitive "spider sense" that warns them of danger. Links with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him to evade most any injuries unless he cognitively overrides his automatic reflexes. This allows Pete and Ben to dodge everything from bullets to punches, even develop a martial art of their own that can compete with legendary masters like Iron Fist.
The third Spider-Man is actually the biological body of Peter Parker controlled by the mind of one of his most dangerous and brilliant supervillains – Doctor Otto Octavious, whose four bionic arms earned him the name Doctor Octopus. Even in Peter Parker's body, he's equipped with four flexible robotic spider limbs. Otto only became a hero due to the influence of Peter's memories and his ego demanding he become the SuperiorSpider-Man.
Superior Spider-Man has Peter Parker's body combined with Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius' multi-discipline genius in engineering. The spider legs he's added to his body are lethal weapons at close range and have additional features.
The fourth Spider-Man is from a cyberpunk future of 2099. Miguel O'Hara was once a scientist working for the (evil) Alchemax corporation, not knowing his Boss Tyler Stone was actually his father from an affair. He was a fan of the great hero Spider-Man and developed genetic imprinting technology. When his boss made him permanently addicted to a drug only the corporation could make, he used the gene-splicing to cure himself. An act of sabotage transformed him into the Spider-Man of 2099.
Miguel lacks the Spider-sense, instead he possesses accelerated vision which grants enhanced forms of vision, including the ability to track high speed objects. He also has talons, fangs, and organic spinnerets (so, he doesn't need to reload the web cartridges like the other versions of Peter Parker)
The fifth Spider-Man came from a Universe in which Peter Parker was a great Spider-Man. He fought against all manner of villains and died fighting super villains to protect those he loved. An African-American kid named Miles Morales was also bitten (due to his uncle's actions) and with Peter's death, took up the mantle of Spider-Man.
Miles' unique power is Venom Blasts – he can generate and manipulate a form of bio-electricity that his body produces, and can utilize the energy for multiple purposes. This includes destructive blasts, energy beams, charged punches, energy threads, and lateral repulsion that can act as thrusters.
The battle lasted less than ten minutes. Priss and Max are covered in bruises, cuts, and burns. There are even broken bones, including both possessing broken ribs and one of Max's arms is mangled. Thankfully there pseudo-Daemonite hybrid physiology grants them a regenerative healing factor. Max is also able to use her shape-shifting to twist her arm back into proper alignment so it can heal.
The only reason they won is because when Priss was backed against a wall, she was able to catch all five Spider-Men with her psychokinesis. She held them in place long enough for her sister Max to stun all of them. Even that wasn't easy because Superior Spider-Man (Otto) had some sort of implant, that while couldn't stop the Starro-tech, prevented him from being easily taken down. The bioelectric field of Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles) also interferes with the stun blasts.
"Are they still breathing?" asks Priss, looking down at Miles. He was blasted so many times, part of his costume was burnt away to reveal the African-American teenager underneath. BB-Units emerge from a portal to secure and move the patients.
"I think so. Considering how BS insane some of Cognito's tech is, it probably doesn't matter."
"It matters to me, Sis. I would rather not kill an innocent kid, even if he's revived a minute later."

3rd POV
Fire and explosions filled the halls of Level Forty-One, the air intermingled with a mix of blazing smoke and vaporized metal. The sprinkler systems only succeeded in adding steam to the mix, as Rorschach fought some of the most-dangerous opponents he'd come across in this world thus-far.
One is a powerful synthoid (synthetic humanoid) standing 190 cm (~6'3) and covered in a green and gold costume with a flowing cape. His face is red with gold eyes, a bald head, and a yellow gemstone on his ajna chakra. It's referred to as a Synthezoid, a term coined by Hank Pym.
The advance android shifts his density to fly through the air, passing through the falling debris like a ghost. He shifts density again to become super-dense, striking Rorschach's shield like a metal statue thrown by a trebuchet. As Rorschach slides backward, the synthazoid fires a brilliant yellow beam from the gemstone on its head. The beam goes through the shield and pierces the government-sponsored vigilante. "Rorschach" dissolves into photonic particles, revealing itself to be a hologram.
Vision was created by the omnicidal artificial intelligence known as Ultron. In some worlds, Ultron was created by the scientist supreme Hank Pym to be even smarter than Hank. In some world, Ultron was created by Tony Stark to help protect the world. In many universes, they created their son Vision for evil, only for Vision to choose the path of the Hero.
The other opponent is a beautiful Eastern European woman standing 170 cm (~5′7″) with green eyes, light skin, and long wavy auburn hair reaching midback. She's dressed in a sexy scarlet/black dress with a scarlet headpiece and red gloves.
She is Wanda Django Maximoff, better known as Scarlet Witch. She was originally thought to be merely a mutant with probability manipulating powers. Wanda has been stated as a probability manipulator of the highest order. In truth she is an immensely powerful being, capable of altering reality, probability, and magic within the cosmos. A result of her connection with the elder god of black magic – Chthon. If the scientists had any common sense, they would have kept her contained and unconscious in a medically-induced coma.
She gathers crimson mist-like energy between her hands and releases it as shockwave that fills the level. The chaos magic disrupts every physical law on every level. Debris and particles float into the air as gravity is negated. Lights explode as magnetic and electrical fields are both boosted and torn apart. Even the surfaces crack and shatter as the forces holding matter together are disrupted.
Rorschach appears as his cloaking tech is damaged by the chaos magic. As electricity rolls off his body, he throws black metal daggers at her, which she knocks away with waves of her glowing red hands. He continues the attack by firing energy blasts from his pistols, while his coat disperses a solar beam fired by Vision.
Scarlet Witch arcs the beams away from her, but Rorschach timed and positioned himself so the beams would hit Vision. Vision blocks the beams with his arms, only for them to ignite. He can't extinguish the flames and they are quickly spreading. Unemotional, Vision fires another solar beam from its head emitter, only for the yellow beam to hit Rorschach's damaged barrier creating a blinding flash.
Rorschach throws black metal shuriken at Wanda, only for her to stop them with a red barrier. The shuriken then beep releasing blinding light and sound. Vision steps in front of Scarlet Witch to protect her as her shield collapses, but Wanda is shot in the back. Rorschach used the black metal dagger from before to redirect the stun beams.
"On the same planet as a Lord of Chaos, you think I wouldn't plan for a little chaos magic?"
Vision charges at Rorschach. He pounds on Rorschach's barrier until it bursts, but Rorschach is holding a pure black handgun, one that looks like it shoots solid projectiles. Vision turns intangible to avoid the shots only for his back to be pierced. Suddenly, he's unable to move and collapses to the ground.
Rorschach walks up to the burning Synthezoid and extinguishes the flames with a blue spray. In the Synthezoid's back are the black metal daggers with glowing teal circuitry.
"Density shifting is a cute trick, but I have countermeasures for Martians. Don't worry, I'll fix you up better than ever." says Rorschach, "It will also give Cognito a chance to study the Horton Cells"
Horton Cells are synthetic replicas of human cells using plastic and carbon polymers, they duplicate the structures found in organic human cells. They are a very useful creation able to heal and awaken special abilities. Those cells are also used to create the synthetic tissues and organs of the synthetic humanoids.
"Are you OK?" a female voice asked from the vents he'd been in minutes before.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
"You're okay!" the voice said enthusiastically as a pair of red lights shone from the nearby vent. "Thanks for the cloaking device! Amazing tech! Ooh! And was that a Synthoid you were fighting? The other one reminds me of a Princess, but not a very nice one."
"Calm yourself, and try not to inhale the smoke," Rorschach said withdrawing a mask from his Inventory and lobbing it upward.
"You got it!" the voice from the duct said, a tendril of lilac-colored hair snatching the mask before retreating. "Where to next?"

L-0 - Surface Level
California
Same Time.
On the surface, the Plastic Couple and Gen 13, with the help of the BB-Droids move the chambers. The barrier that keeps the Light or anyone else from teleporting in, also interferes with Rorschach's portals. Instead, the Team of Eight portal the chambers and prisoners to surface level, then the surface team pushes the chambers and mind-controlled prisoners through the shields, so the BB-8s can call the portals to transport them to one of Rorschach's bases.
They are interrupted with the arrival of a couple of heavily armed military helicopters.
"ADVANCE!" the captain of the formation called out.
The weapons of the gunships target the Gen 13 members, only for a voice to ring out.
"FREEDOM, IS THE SOVEREIGN RIGHT OF ALLAMERICANS!"
"RETREAAAAAAT!" that very same captain called out, the other pilots screaming- "Every man for himself!" -as the Liberty Primes rose to attention.

Level 42 – Last level before Iso Ten
1st POV
In my time as Doomsday, I will admit I haven't fought many challenging opponents. Most of my opponents can't even scratch me, let alone cause me injury, and those that can injure me quickly lose that advance as my body adapts. The only real exception was 11Eyes, whose otherworldly nature allowed him to hit me with thousands of different attacks. Since then, I've been feeling like Saitama after Boros. Thinks are back to being boring.
I'm no longer bored.
*SMASH!*
I'm currently flying through any couple of Level Forty-two's concrete and steel walls. Most of the walls on this level have been destroyed and if the upper levels above weren't larger and reinforced, I'm betting it would have collapsed long ago. There are even holes in the ceiling where my opponents launched me back to Level Forty.
I'm not injured by the brutal attacks, but it's hard to keep your feet on the ground when you only weigh just over nine hundred pounds and your opponent hits with the force of nine million tons. I've managed to slow down my movement using whip-fist and dulled bone spikes.
I push myself out the broken concrete rubble and twisted rebar. Around me there are broken utility lines spray jets of water and electricity. I'm filthy from concrete dust, insulation, and other building materials mixed with water. I'm also soaked in green radioactive blood.
My opponent is a Gamma Mutate – people from Marvel universe who possess the "Gamma Gene" which allows them to convert gamma radiation into a mutagenic change. When exposed to enough gamma radiation they transform into super powered beings. In some cases, the change is permanent. In others, the change can occur when desired or under stimuli. Nearly all gamma mutates are characterized by green coloration.
The majority of Gamma mutates possess immense amount of superhuman strength and physical abilities. These abilities are combined with immensely powerful regenerative healing factor that surpasses Wolverine. Even if weapons could pierce their green hides, they can heal anything short of death.
"You may be the strongest there is, but that doesn't matter against someone who can't be Smashed."
Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was never the most mentally healthy person. He was savagely abused by his father nuclear physicist father Dr. Brian Banner, who believed his son was a freak and was insanely jealous of his wife Rebecca's love of her child, Brian eventually murdered Rebecca when she tried to escape with her son and years later Bruce smashed his father's head against his mother's tombstone. When he was exposed to immense amounts of gamma radiation, his alternate personality was given control of rage-filled monster. Over the years, there have been many versions of the Hulk dependent on his mental state.
Currently, I'm fighting a tall muscular emerald green Hulk standing eight feet tall (six inches taller than me). He has green eyes, green skin, and dark green hair. He's glowing a green aura of gamma radiation, but thankfully he isn't the World Breaker. His body is currently pierced by several of my toxic bone spikes, which I made barbed so he couldn't easily remove them. He's bleeding heavily and the entire level of Cadmus Epsilon is stained with radioactive blood.
Early in the fight, I made a mistake. I used my Abyss Roar on the Hulk and while it did burn off all of his skin and two-thirds of his muscle, it also destroyed my bone spikes which were inhibiting his powers. Thankfully, the new specialized toxin in the new spikes is working and Hulk is weakening.
This fight would have been a lot longer and far more destructive if I was fighting the Real Hulk instead of the Starro-tech-controlled Hulk. The Hulk's strength increases with his rage. This means Hulk would eventually get so mad he could punch me on Earth and I would land in a White Ghetto on Mars. I would be fine, but Mars would not be.
I glare at the Hulk and feel a weird sensation. My vision turns blue-white and Hulk is screaming in pain! I'm shocked and my vision returns to normal. Hulk's body is shaking, smoking, and producing an occasional arc of electricity. Hulk roars and attempts to attack again, but I glare and replicate the sensation. One again I release some sort of energy from my eyes, and I am amazed I can still see (even if the world is in blue monochrome). When I stop this time, after a good two minutes, Hulk collapses to the ground unconscious.
"Holy shit! I beat the Hulk! A brainwashed Hulk, but it still counts!"I say, a little overwhelmed, "Connor is not going to happy that I got heat vision before he did. That didn't look like normal red heat vision."
"It was radiation. Cosmic radiation." says Rorschach as he and others drop down onto my level. They were apparently waiting for me to the end the fight with the Hulk, a series of tennis ball-shaped drones swooping through the level and slurping up all the radioactive material like vacuum cleaners. "Heat Vision is the exclusively Kryptonian ability to project solar energy in an invisible radiation form and the form of beams of intensified heat from both eyes. You on the other hand are shooting high-energy particles, including a small amount of anti-matter."
"Cosmic rays are one of the weaknesses of the Hulk, they are like anti-gamma ray to him." I remember from marvel database.
"That makes no sense to modern science and barely any sense to Rick science. You must have adapted after being exposed to the Hulk's blood. You couldn't create cosmic radiation toxin, so your body awoke it as a vision power." says Rorschach with a custom tricorder, "Can you change your new vision? Switch it over to something different."
I look at the ground and my vision changes, but instead of blue-white it's green-white.
"Gamma radiation. So, you can switch between cosmic ray particle beam and a gamma ray laser" says Rorschach, "Apparently, Ash Grey the Doomsday has Doomsday Death Ray Vision."
"That's so Cool! Optical projections of cosmic and gamma radiation are so fascinating!"
I nearly jump when a young woman jumps out a vent and appears in front of me. A fairly short and stocky girl. She has olive skin, rose eyes, and long, lilac-colored hair that she wears in massive pigtails, which she can move and control at will like a limb (prehensile). She is wearing work attire, consisting of heavy gloves, steel-toed boots, arm covers, a welding mask with red lenses, and a pair of overalls worn like pants.
"Entrapta!?"
Entrapta is the princess of Dryl. She is one of the Non-Elemental Princesses on the Planet Etheria. She was a member of rebellion during the early series and later joined the Horde to research First One technology when she believed herself abandoned by her friends. In the end, she helped She-Ra and her friends save Etheria from the tyrannical Horde Prime and his army of clones.
"You know me? You must have watched that Princess of Power show that Rorschach... I mean Dad, told me about!"
"Dad?" I say looking at Rorschach.
"I adopted her. She's too precious to leave with anyone else," Rorschach said hugging the excitable genius and mussing her hair, the girl genius preening under the attention and only making a token effort to dislodge him.
"Cool" I weakly reply. It makes sense in a weird way. The best way to control a mad scientist is make them part of your family. Even Rick Sanchez is less out of control with a good Morty and Smiths (except Jerry, because nobody like that Loser). I do want her to stop going on and on about scientific theory, because we still have a mission.
"Did you know you and Hordak were in a romantic relationship at the end of the series? You probably taught him all about sex when you were old enough."
Entrapta instantly stops speaking and turns an interesting shade of red. Entrapta is incredibly hyperactive, cheerful, intelligent, bubbly, and cute, but she is still a teenage girl with poor social skills.
My inner monster giggles at her embarrassment.
"You know I'm going to have to make you pay for that, right?" Rorschach questioned.
My inner monster shrunk three sizes that day.
