In Karakura Town lived the Ishida family, the last Quincy family in existence, however this family was reduced down to two members Uryu and his father Ryuken. Currently the duo were underneath their family mansion in a secret training room. The space had several large holes scattered about and Uryu lay sprawled out on the floor.
His sweat mixed with his black hair, his burnt fingers twitched and sent a jolt of pain to his head, his clothes clung to his body as his father starred on without a shred of empathy for his son.
"That concludes your training, you've regained your Quincy powers, as part of our deal you are no longer allowed to have ties to the shinigami." Ryuken pushed up his glasses, his son struggled to his feet, their relationship was strained, he knew that for certain. Despite that his heart wavered whenever he would leave their home.
"Ha..h..yes Ryu-"
"That's great to hear! Shinigami may be off the table, but I am sure you can make an exception for a trio of aliens, correct?" Uryu's mouth nearly hit the ground as behind his father stood an older gentleman in a lab coat, he was the same height as his father, he had the same hair color as Uryu himself however at the side of his head grey hair started to overtake it.
This man held in his hand a gold pocket watch in his right, and waved at Uryu. In the first time in many years the young quincy saw his father be visibly shocked his father who had just dispersed his bow summoned it to him again. The shadows in the blue room training room retreated as a fleury of blue sparks appeared in the hands white haired Quincy's hand.
Soon the Ryuken held his bow, a string drawn as an arrow of reishi took form he pointed the arrow at the man before him.
"Who are you?" Ryuken asked in a clear tone so that even his exhausted son might hear and answer, instead he was answered by the intruder before him who responded in a casual tone like he was not being threatened with the possibility of having an energy arrow go through his head.
"Oh put that thing down, I'm not here to cause you any problems in the slightest. I simply came here to pick up Uryu." This caused Uryu to raise an eyebrow and for his father to glance towards him for answers only to receive a shrug.
"I have no idea who you are, but you trespassed into my home so I hope you can forgive me for this."
Ryuken's arrow flew at blistering speeds that surpassed that of any shot a human could accomplish. The Quincy thought the man before him would simply try to catch the arrow or merely let it strike him in order to show off his power instead he disappeared.
Not just from his line of sight, but he seemed to disappear from reality altogether, as a quincy he could sense the movement of spiritual particles in the air so when a person moves he could sense them being disturbed and know their location. With this man, however he felt nothing, it was as if he slipped out of reality itself to avoid disturbing the particles in the air.
"As I said before, all I am here to do is ask for your son's help."
'Again?' Ryuken heard the man from behind him this time he stood next to his son who also seemed bewildered by his sudden appearance.
He made his bow vanish, and sighed.
"You said you wanted my son to help a group of what was it...aliens? Is that correct?" Ryuken tried his best to seem ok, he even put his hands in his pockets and slouched a tiny bit. The odd man nodded with enthusiasm.
"Precisely! Those three are off fighting a particular group of hollows as we speak. Their presence forced these three friends of mine to join in the fight to push them back. I came here to help inform the young Ishida over here that two of his special human friends were on their way to that spot as we speak." A light shone in the young Quincy's eyes as he realized who the stranger referred to.
Ryuken gave a tired sigh where there were hollows there would be soul reapers.
"Ugh, fine you have my permission to take my son with you. This matter involves your human friends so it does not violate the terms of our agreement. Might I know your name, stranger?" Ryuken's eyes narrowed on the ever pleasant man.
"Ah, yes introductions, it slipped my mind. I cannot remember my original name, however everyone simply refers to me as Professor Paradox." He took a slight bow, then grabbed Uryu's wrist and made him stand.
"W...what's the situation like? Should I not get my equ-?"
"Oh, there's no need to worry that all of that can be handled before we arrive at our destination." Those were the last words Ryuken heard before his son and the professor vanished in a blue light.
"Hmm, Professor Paradox."
...
The massive spiritual pressures burdened Orihime and Sado as they approached the source they passed by a street with little to no people then they stopped as a blue light flashed in front of them.
There stood Uryu in his casual attire and a man in a lab coat.
"Uryu! Where have you been?! Your powers they're not back yet-?!" Sado put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down, the big eyed auburn haired girl took a deep breath as her tall friend asked the quincy.
"You got your back." The quiet young man received a nod in return.
"Also there is no need for you two to worry about him, this man is our ally." Said man magically spawned a bag of gumballs in his hand which he offered to the bright haired girl and the taller teen both of whom accepted with a tad bit of hesitation.
"Yes, children and speaking of sides, it's time for you three to join your friend by his, please do me a favor and explain everything to him if you would." Before the three teens could refuse they were taken away by a blue light, thus they and the spiritual pressure they felt disappeared.
Paradox stood there on the sidewalk of an empty street, the sun's light was obscured by the presence of several clouds thus the bright colors of the shops and buildings became muted. As behind him a purple light shone which finally caused his pleasant smile to disappear.
"You really know how to make trouble where or whenever you go, I believe I told you on more than occasion that time is sacred and should not be meddled with.." Paradox looked behind him and there stood a man with a black helmet with faint purple circuitry, he wore a dark long coat over onyx armor. His arms were protected by gauntlets that had the same faint circuit pattern as his helmet.
"Eon." Paradox said the man's name with pity laced in his voice.
"Again and again time walker, but that is neither here nor there. The pressing issue is your meddling in my plans." The man's voice was distorted due to the filter in his advanced helmet. "After all, my actions are saving a good amount of people from suffering a less than fortunate faith."
"Is that true, am sure that you are aware of what tampering with this world's timeline could mean. For those who seek to protect it the pain they must go through is vital for their development." Paradox felt anger at his inability to directly intervene, but he calmed down as he remembered who his foe decided to send to this world.
"Of course I am well aware, that is why I sent Tennyson here and I can assure you there is no need for you to worry about that confined king and that executioner. I have given them both what they most desired, and for once I am on the side of justice, I want Sosuke Aizen to fall." Paradox tilted his head a tiny bit.
"And what reason do you have for that?" Worry began welling up within the time walker, he faced Eon on multiple occasions through multiple worlds and histories he was not particularly on the side of the manipulator.
"Ha, where is the fun in me telling you that? There is nothing for you to worry about, I have no plans of harming any civilians." Eon disappeared and the rays of the sun shone on the city once more.
Paradox stood there on the sidewalk, his gaze was to the sky as he thought of what his allies were about to face.
...
The two groups found themselves above a forested area that was left to the wayside as the forces collided.
Rook was locked with the masked Espada, the alien wielded an advanced spear while his foe bore a trident.
Great winds swept up from beneath the both of them and soon they disappeared to the west.
Gwen felt the anger and confusion that radiated off of her two foes, two energy hands blocked their war scythe and claw strike. She still sat on her disk of blue energy, her eyes went over to Kevin and Ichigo.
"I'll leave you boys here to play, see ya!" Soon after a blue tornado that was formed not from the act of taking control of the surrounding wind, instead Gwen's mana tore space to create the powerful winds that sent her and her foes north.
Kevin formed a diamond sword from his right arm and coated it with nero-shock energy and the pink haired mad man's own energy; the benefit of his power is the seamless combination of certain aspects at will. The mad man attempted to lock with their blades, however he received a surprise in the form of a numb left arm.
"Huh, is there something going on with the air here? It feels like I'm on a dozen energy drinks!" Kevin commented as the pink haired man simply switched which hand held his blade.
"You are right about that meaning we are in...Oh...no. Hmm, oh well it really doesn't matter, all that does is get you back home with me!" The mad man switched tactics and began firing his dark pink energy blasts at Kevin, whilst he retreated to the west. Kevin just held out a hand and absorbed them. He was fundamentally untouchable by this guy the way he was.
However he took the bait and followed him west, thus the only people left were Zommari and Ichigo, who were on the losing end of their exchange.
Zommari knocked him away.
He closed the gap between them. And delivered a powerful strike to Ichigo's lower ribs.
'Crap! No, don't panic, calm down and anticipate his next move.'
Ichigo brushed off the pain, readied himself and reengaged.
Zommari thrusted with his blade. Ichigo dodged left, he went for a raised slash to Zommari's arm.
The man moved out with no effort.
"Slow." Zommari tried to deliver a kick to Ichigo's chest. He failed.
Ichigo created an unbalanced foothold beneath himself so that he would avoid the strike.
Zommari intended to destroy his ribcage entirely with that attack, he was even slightly impressed by the soul reaper's instincts for combat.
Ichigo straightened himself out, wrapped his sword cloth to his arm, then launched. Zommari side stepped, the blade followed.
He raised his katana to block, the large knife-like sword was pulled back, and he received a powerful slash to the chest.
The substitute Shinigami gained distance only for a slash to barely miss him. There were two of him.
'Clones?! He can clone himself, great. I couldn't sense his spiritual energy. The way he moves is different from the shunpo soul reapers use.'
Options were weighed and Ichigo used his trump card.
"Bankai!" A massive column of blue spiritual energy was released, the violent winds swept through the forest below, trees toppled and wildlife was forced to evacuate.
This change did not go unnoticed.
...
In the Squad six barracks two soul reapers noted the change in Ichigo's spiritual energy.
"Rukia do you think-"
"Trouble that's for certain. Let's go!"
