The space inside an establishment rips apart, and a creature steps out of it. A certain man, wearing a dark leather jacket with a blue polo shirt and slacks is drinking from his mug.
It's sugary yet the coffee aroma fills his nose. He turns around and his eyebrows rise upon seeing the being.
"What brings you here?" he asked.
The being tosses a man tied by chains. "Evidence, officer."
"You still call me that after our department is secretly working with you, huh? My name is James," James crouched and looked down on the man tied by chains.
The being whose name is Sebastian turns his eyes around him. A flower scent fills his nose as he looks around him.
"I work alone but if it's an insult to disregard your name," Sebastian glanced over his shoulder, "I will call you with your name because you gave it to me."
James pokes the tied man's cheek, and a groan erupts from the immobilized man. James looks over his shoulder and raises his eyebrows.
"You haven't given me an answer." James looked into Sebastian's eyes.
"The name of that man bound by chains is Aldrin." Sebastian sat on a chair that faced James.
James' eyes turn to Aldrin. "Where is the mastermind of the attack?"
Aldrin stays quiet while staring at the wall. He turns his eyes to Sebastian and moves his head beside him, seeing James standing calmly.
"Just answer him!" Ivan kicked Aldrin's face.
"When did you appear?" Sebastian's eyes shifted to Ivan.
"I visited someone. I am already here earlier than you!" Ivan narrowed his eyebrows.
Aldrin tastes the iron-like taste of the blood falling from the cut on his upper lip. He spits on the ground which turns Sebastian's eyes toward him.
"Come on, the ground ain't that dirty but now it is." Ivan stepped towards Aldrin.
"Don't you dare make another step forward."
At the calm tone of Sebastian's voice, Ivan stops moving. Sebastian is also resting the tip of his sword on Ivan's throat.
"Are you protecting him?" Ivan turned his eye to Sebastian.
"I was just saving you," Sebastian replied, still resting his sword on Ivan's throat.
"I know you. If you go any longer driven by your anger, you might kill him," he said.
Ivan closes his eyes and grits his teeth before stepping back from the sword. His hands stop clenching as he takes a deep breath while opening his eyes.
Ivan looks at James. "Officer, bring me the files about the attack."
Ivan shifts his attention to Aldrin. "I think we might have something to connect the 'lines'."
A room with dark ceiling, walls, and floor. Multiple ceiling lights are giving light to the entire room with the aroma of lavender filling the atmosphere along with the cold wind from the air conditioners.
Ivan and Sebastian are standing behind James. In front of him is a tall brown shelf filled with folders.
"Aha, I found it." James pulled a dark plastic folder with a round red logo embedded on its cover.
He turns around and extends the folder to Ivan, and he takes it from James' grasp. After reading every page, Ivan looks at Sebastian.
"Found anything?" Ivan asked.
Sebastian takes the folder from Ivan's grasp, and Ivan blinks a few times before turning his head towards Sebastian.
Sebastian says calmly. "The case has been going on for 3 months already, and I will read the other information. Anyways, I just read the entire case in just seconds."
Ivan's eyes widen. "Seconds?! YOU'RE BLUFFING!"
Sebastian continues to speak, "If we connect the dots of the locations where the attacks have occurred, it will bring us to Bulacan and Pangasinan."
Ivan hums, his voice is rough. "We must make two teams that will head to separate locations."
Sebastian closes the folder, and he looks forward. "I can't use teleportation for both teams at the same time but I can teleport them to different locations."
James picks up his walkie-talkie hanging on his belt. He presses a button, and the sounds of stuttering can be heard.
"This is Brook 1, James. Summon our available pawns," James said.
Ivan slams his knuckles against each other with a wide smile on his lips. "I think what you mean to say is 'summon the knights'!"
Meanwhile, inside the bars imbued with blue electricity which is crackling, Aldrin is wrapped in chains as he is sitting on the corner of the cell.
He opens his brown eyes, and they look empty but a smile paints on his lips. Multiple armored men which seems to be 20 in number are standing in line.
Ivan is standing in front of them with his hands clasped on his back. "As the leading Guardian, we will split you into two groups of ten men.
"The first ten will go to Pangasinan, and the other second ten will go to Bulacan."
Meanwhile, Sebastian is standing beside James. Both of their eyes are on Ivan as he speaks.
Sebastian turns around and holds the doorknob but James rests his hand on Sebastian's shoulder.
"Stay for a while."
"The school needs me, plus, Ivan told me that they'll just use the mobile for transportation."
Sebastian pushes the hand of James away from his shoulder, and Sebastian holds the cold knob and twists it as he opens the door.
A dark space with no land to stand on, the environment feels cold. Amidst the sky, an unconscious man is floating while wearing a long white sleeve paired with dark blue pants.
His eyes open and they are green in color. Upon the opening of his eyes, green energy bursts from his body. The entire dark environment transforms into blue with clouds everywhere.
"Wake up."
The voice that spoke is smooth and calming. That voice is owned by a tall man with pale skin, and green eyes. His clothing is a large white robe with round green patterns wrapping around his sleeves.
"Nicholas, it's time you return to your world."
"You're that same man who helped me meet Gale," Nicholas said.
The man in the robe laughs. "You've guessed me right!"
"Why does it seem that we're in another world?" Nicholas turned his eyes everywhere.
"No, this world is the same but it's been like this after you fought Fig." The man in the robe flew a bit from Nicholas while putting his hands on the back of his head.
"Why isn't it bothering you?" Nicholas asked.
"Me?" the man smiled, "because I adapted to it. But now, let's switch on to a serious topic."
He opens his right hand, and on his palm, six lights of different colors appear. The cold wind touches Nicholas' skin as the light hits his face causing him to close his eyes.
Nicholas opens his eyes and sees six keys levitating on the palm of the man in a white robe.
"What are these?" Nicholas pointed the keys with his lips.
"These are your way of unlocking the other portion of your powers," the man suddenly smirked, "but it will not be easy because you need to choose between two choices."
"Choices?" Nicholas asked.
The man nods. "The world is currently in an impending doom with evil beings roaming after they have been unleashed from the opening of the portals of the balete trees."
Nicholas places his hand on his chest. "That wouldn't happen if Fig was killed early, right? Then, what is the other choice?"
The man in the robe pushes the keys towards Nicholas, and the young man catches them. A strange feeling wraps around Nicholas' entire form, and his eyes widen as he looks around him.
Six auras of giant beasts with different forms are standing behind him, and they all vanish into thin air.
"Those are the beings waiting for your arrival, Nicholas. Waiting for you to reclaim them," the man in the robe smirked.
"So choose, will you save the world or regain them first?" the man in the robe summoned a sword in his right hand, "but you can't choose both because choosing both of them will only tear you apart."
The tone of his voice suddenly shifts to an evil one. The hairs on Nicholas' body rise as he shivers shortly.
"I have Gale to help me," Nicholas inhaled deeply, "my choice will be final! I will help this world as I defended it against Fig."
"Then so be it." the man in the robe made the sword fall into pieces.
The entire world around them falls into silence. The man in the robe speaks once again while having the same sly smile.
"You are a menacing man." he disappeared.
Nicholas's eyes widen after he feels the slight wind touching his skin, and he looks on his left.
The man is already floating beside him with his eyes staring forward, and they look empty.
"You cheated. I told you to choose one but your kind-human heart led you to chose two impossible answers," he aimed his hand at Nicholas, "and for me to make you lose something... identity."
Nicholas eyes' widen and he coughs. Lines with green colors appear around his entire body, and the man flies closer to Nicholas and punches his gut.
Nicholas screams in pain as the lines all over his body shiver, and the light eats everything around them.
"I hopw you accomplish the prophecy. Until then, Nicholas." the man in the robe closed his eyes.
