Fuuta blinked two or three times. Was it real? Yes, yes it was... Fuuta shuddered. That cold, hard stare was genuinely scary. He wasn't joking at all, even if the request—no, the order—was almost ridiculous in this situation. He looked at the others, searching for a clue about this alarming change in his brother's personality. Maybe he was bipolar; it was a plausible question. However, the others were as stunned as he was, everyone except Yamamoto. It was a very radical shift, especially after all the fury he had shown no more than five minutes ago! Yet, that face and those eyes… he was still very upset, there was no doubt about that. Maybe he just wanted to be distracted or for them to leave?
Unbeknownst to them, this was the closest thing to forgiveness without saying it directly. Tsuna wasn't in the mood to have a decent conversation without saying something hurtful. He wanted them to leave, at least for a while, so his best excuse was to just pretend that nothing happened. That, and he wanted to continue eating sweets. It had been a long time since he'd tasted ice cream of any flavor, for that matter, and frankly, he wanted to keep going. A guilty pleasure? Absolutely. He admitted it, but he still didn't think he could eat more than one cup. At least this way, he also got to avoid the fact that he hadn't eaten anything at all in... two days? He didn't even remember anymore, though that didn't matter much to him anyway.
To avoid disturbing Tsuna any more than he possibly was, Yamamoto immediately went to the store to buy the ice cream without arguing or asking. If Tsuna could kill with his gaze, they would all have been dead a long time ago. It was scary, but he had every right in the world to be angry. If he weren't upset, they'd be truly alarmed. It was totally normal for him to get angry; the only strange things were the explosive reaction and the fact that he activated his Hyper Dying Will Mode as if nothing had happened. In fact, he seemed not to have noticed. Maybe it wasn't as accidental as it seemed, but Yamamoto didn't want to risk his luck or make him uncomfortable—not if Tsuna might try to rip their heads off again. Yamamoto shuddered. No, he really didn't want to live that experience ever again. Tsuna was certainly intimidating when he wanted to be. He had already forgiven them, Yamamoto hoped and prayed, and the others wouldn't make a bad comment or do something silly and would have understood the message given between the lines.
"Tsuna-kun, I-" "I'm not going to clean up the little mess outside." Tsuna cut him off without any apparent emotion. He didn't want to hear it; he didn't want to know anything more about it, absolutely nothing. "I'll clean it up for you, Juudaime!" Gokudera practically jumped out of the window as he said that. If Tsuna had been calmer, he would have worried about him, but at that moment, the worst thing that could happen was for Gokudera to break his leg, so in Tsuna's mind, it was still a minor danger. Even so, he couldn't help but think that maybe jumping would have been safer, because the tubes and bars weren't exactly reliable for going up or down. But it wasn't his problem, not even a little. He didn't tell him that he had to be the one to clean up the mess after all, did he?
"Tsuna-nii..." Fuuta didn't like to see his brother like that, but he was better than before. "Have you eaten anything besides ice cream?" Anything to make him better. He wasn't doing well, and if he wanted to forget what had happened, who was Fuuta to oppose that? "Maybe-" "Tsuna-kun!"
When Yamamoto returned, he didn't know whether to laugh or remain silent at what he found. Apparently, Tsuna was still so exhausted that just that outburst had made him faint. Well, maybe it was the emotion. Even so, he has been sleeping a lot. At the thought, Yamamoto frowned, worried. It was too long to be sleeping. He hoped it would stop soon. It wasn't much fun without him, and besides the very strange acts he did, you could never get bored. On the other hand, this outburst was quite... explosive, as if he had thrown a lit match into a bottle of gasoline from a safe distance. Without a doubt, they had touched more than one nerve, so to speak. The part about him being feared was the worst, but... why? What was so special about that? He understood that anyone would feel bad, sad, upset, and even betrayed, but furious? It didn't make much sense to him, to say the least.
"How did this happen?" Tsuna was in his bed, as if he had just gone to sleep. "We don't know, he suddenly fainted and..." Kyoko stopped, a little embarrassed. "I was lucky enough to catch him and not fall with him." She wasn't very happy about it. It's true that Tsuna wasn't a heavy boy, but... "Ma Ma, just wait until I make up for lost time." And speaking of time... "Tsuna, wake up." She moved him a bit to try to wake him up, though... "Let Juudaime rest, you idiot!" Even Fuuta grimaced. The intention would have been noble if he hadn't left them almost deaf. Without a doubt, Tsuna must have been awake now.
"You are the worst alarms in the world..." Tsuna murmured, irritated, his ears ringing. He almost hit the ceiling in surprise. He would have done the same as the cats in the cartoons he saw many years ago: jump to the ceiling and hang there, omitting the part of hanging like a lamp, of course. "... What is the reason for the commotion?" Honestly, Tsuna didn't know why he was asking. "I'm very sorry, Juudaime! It wasn't-" "And my ice cream?" No, he didn't feel like listening to anything he had to say. So little he needed it, damn, it was perfectly deducible. He sat up quickly. He really didn't want to hear a peep coming from Gokudera, not now at least. "Here it is, I brought you a different one..." There was everything, except vanilla, lucky her. "... I don't know if you like it, but try it."
And that's exactly what he did. About five minutes later, everyone was being ignored. Tsuna was too happy with his ice cream to bother or give them the slightest attention. It was very strange; they had never seen him like this. What they were sure of was that he was going to run out. He ate a whole jar by himself! They just hoped that it wasn't going to make him uncontrollably energetic. Tsuna had been giving them attention, only he decided not to bother and delight in the taste. Swiss cake, huh? he thought to himself. I already know what I'll buy when I go to the store... along with: How the hell can they talk so much, it's just three people!
"What do you think?" It's as if Tsuna wasn't there. "I didn't know what to bring you-" "Delicious," was the short answer, and Tsuna threw the now-empty cup into the trash. "Maybe I'll get addicted to-" "But, Juu-" "It tastes very good. And no, I won't give you approval, you buy so I can steal from you." He stuck his tongue out at the end in mockery. He was just joking with the last part. "Okay, but Tsuna..."—a pause—"... ready to get out of here for a while?"
Leave? It's 5 pm. Where would we go at this hour? Still, Tsuna nodded slowly and was about to ask where the hell they were going when they pushed him amicably toward the door.
"Let's go then, your mom already knows, and the children will see us there," he said cheerfully. "Wait, you mean to tell me that they planned something without telling me anything about it and expect me to just say yes like nothing?" He asked seriously, not annoyed or happy, just neutral. "Ehhhh... yes?" Putting it that way... they hadn't thought about it. "We thought that-" "It's okay." "It would do you good-" "What did you say?" "I said it's okay, I'll go," he repeated patiently, slightly amused at leaving them speechless. "Juudaime, you are amazing!" I had already started to wonder why I didn't hear it, heh... but it's still quite irritating...
Kyoko frowned slightly. He looked lonely. "Tsuna-kun, that was a bad joke." To be joking, but with that seriousness it was difficult to say. "I'm sorry Kyoko-chan, but I couldn't help it." It was an honest question... they rarely ask my opinion before doing something, but after... besides, it's quite fun to cut their ropes sometimes... "It's fun, consider it my revenge if you want to." Very funny, even though I must feel bad because they almost never ask... nahh, I'm more than used to Reborn-san by now. "You..." They were speechless. They never, ever thought that he would do something like this, let alone take revenge for something so... accidental, for lack of a better word, even if that revenge wasn't even serious. "Well, let's go now... or do they want to stay here after all?" Sometimes it's better to just stay quiet and pretty... mostly quiet. Those looks are very funny but at the same time they make you feel like an idiot, which I'm not... I think... he thought to himself, starting to walk in a totally random direction. He had no idea where they were supposedly going, and he would not be mortified by it, not even a little. Upon reaching the corner of the street and not feeling footsteps behind him, a deep frown made its way into his features. Alright, enough of acting like fools... Time for Plan Z, because I'm not very patient... "Hey, look, a killer ball!" He shouted at them, ignoring that they were talking to each other about who knows what.
The effect was immediate and quite funny for Tsuna, who laughed slightly, but very strange for Kyoko, the only one who didn't understand or was saved, depending on the point of view.
"Juudaime saved it!" All Gokudera heard was: "murderer," and his bombs were ready to send flying whoever bothered his precious boss. "Where?" Yamamoto asked, taking the first thing he saw as a bat: a stick from the garbage. The only thing he heard was: "ball," and he was ready to bat. "Tsuna-nii!" The boy ended up behind his brother, scared but very curious. He only heard two words: "killer ball," and his imagination soared. "What are you talking about, Tsuna-kun? There are no killer balls..." Kyoko tried to ignore the looks they were receiving from the few citizens who had heard the commotion without success. The looks were very varied and at the same time had something in common: Are they crazy? The comments offered so little help, to say the least.
"I know," Tsuna explained patiently without looking at the disappointed gestures of the three boys. "But they moved fast, didn't they?" He summed up innocently, and the four of them realized with horror that Tsuna seemed to know them inside out, and boy, would he enjoy their advantages. "Well, what do you think if we walk?" He didn't like to be in the middle of the street waiting indefinitely. "Next, in this direction, Juudaime," Gokudera recovered as quickly as he could, and still with many question marks in his head, he began to walk beside him while pointing the direction and starting a fight with Yamamoto. Mentally, Tsuna grimaced and sighed. He couldn't complain; if they argued, it would be abnormal. And regarding the other two, they just had a friendly chat. Too bad he wasn't in the mood to talk. In truth, he wasn't in good spirits in general, probably because of what happened about an hour or two ago, but who could blame him? It was partly his fault for wanting to know what wasn't said to him up front, so he couldn't complain: he got what he wanted, the fact that he hurt him was just a side effect. And on the other hand, it was also their fault for doing that in their own house. Anyone would think they were stupid, but he didn't. In any case, they were very confident that either he wouldn't wake up or that if he did, it would be obvious. Unfortunately for them, it wasn't like that.
After 20 minutes of walking and occasionally making a gesture or noise that he was listening, which was half true, half a lie—he was hearing but not paying attention—they arrived at the cinema. Tsuna couldn't help but feel a little silly for not thinking about this. It was a bit obvious, but it never crossed his mind. Despite what had happened so far, Tsuna could only be curious, like a child seeing an amusement park for the first time, and consequently, he walked around the place, looking carefully at every place and corner like a tourist in a shopping mall, without saying a word. His behavior did not go unnoticed by the boys or by the newcomers to the group: I-pin, Lambo, and Chrome. The purple-haired girl, strange as it seemed, had a giant red stuffed animal in her arms, and she refused to answer where she had gotten it from, smiling slightly embarrassed and looking at Tsuna out of the corner of her eye, making the answer a bit obvious.
"Good night, boss..." murmured a soft and shy voice next to him, making him stop for a moment in his inspection. "Hi, Chrome, how's everything going?" he asked with the best smile he had at his disposal, which seemed to work in his favor. "I see you liked it..." he commented, referring to the doll, gaining a slight nod. "I'm glad. I'll have to find you others, don't you think? One alone is not enough, but that can wait." He added the last part, knowing that she would deny and deny. He didn't like to take a no on things like that, but he was more than used to it. "Will you come with me?"
"What do you mean it's not enough?" Gokudera hissed as low as possible, annoyed at the other guy. "Ma Ma..." Yamamoto tried to lighten the situation, but that only turned Gokudera on more, who didn't need many reasons to threaten the seller with his dynamics. Especially with Tsuna out of sight. "They increased a little, nothing-" "A little bit!" Yamamoto grimaced, poor choice of words. "And in just three days, we don't even have enough to buy just the tickets!" "Gentlemen, if you are not going to buy, please get out of the queue," the saleswoman just said in a bored voice. "Wait-" "Could you please talk to the manager?" interrupted another voice. "As you like, sir, please go ahead and talk about your business..." The lady replied carelessly, bored and following protocol. Lambo made a face, what a bitter and robotic lady.
Before Gokudera or Yamamoto digested what was happening, Tsuna gave a gentle thank you and disappeared through the doors before they could say "ah."
"Please, if you are not going to buy, leave the queue," he said in the same way. "Come on, the boss said to take care of the treats..." Chrome muttered softly. Kyoko could only laugh and pull both boys out of the queue. Tsuna as always came to save the day, or the night in this case.
Inside the room, Tsuna made himself comfortable in a chair and didn't wait for more than five minutes when the manager finally showed up. A rather annoying one, he commented, amused, in his head. I bet he makes easy money and rarely has to deal with customers... This time he had a touch of sadism, which was further accentuated in the following thought: It's time to remind him who the real boss is here...
"What do you want to talk about? You're just a kid, how come they let you in?" Oh, very good entrance, I like it... you make things much more fun, I love you... he purred in his mind, but on the outside, he looked serious and respectful. If the manager had been able to hear that thought, he would be scared, poor him.
"Excuse me, I didn't mean to bother a man as busy and important as you," he replied as calmly and respectfully as he could, watching with great amusement as his ego grew exponentially with each word that came out of his lips. "This won't take long, I promise." I really love you, you're such a good toy... "Okay, be quick, kid, I'm a busy man as you said," he said, proud and impatient to leave, sitting on the other side of the table.
"Well, you see, my friends and I are coming to see a movie, but we don't have enough money." "That's all. Without money, there is nothing, little one, goodbye." He got up to leave, but... "You have not let me finish, Mr. Williams Castellano." ...it will be so much fun to pluck your feathers one by one... Oh yes, you're so easy that I almost feel sorry for you, almost, dear toy...
The manager froze in his place. How the hell did he know his name? It was nowhere and he hadn't said it!
"Please sit down again, I'm not done." The tone he used was enough to make Williams obey with fear. Whoever that boy was, he was undoubtedly someone of authority. "Thank you." "..." "As I said, my friends and I come to see a movie, but we don't have enough money..." he paused entirely intentionally, enjoying watching his victim squirm and sweat nervously in place. "... and I wondered if he could use an account to pay..." Really easy, and really delicious... I didn't remember this being felt too...
"What kind of account?" he asked slowly. He felt like a mouse in a petty box with a cobra for company. The cobra aimed to open the box and swallow it whole. "A mobster, of course," Tsuna replied as if that was something common and something he should know, and that smile he was beginning to exhibit made him feel much smaller and smaller. "The account of my grandfather specifically, Timoteo Vongola."
That was a nuclear bomb, and something Tsuna enjoyed seeing: if he hadn't been sitting there, he would have passed out. He was a ghost about to go into a panic attack. He had insulted in more ways than one the grandson of the head of the most powerful mafia family in the world. He could end up dead, tortured.
"If I wanted to do something to him, I would have done it by now, so reassure..." Even if he enjoyed this very much, it wasn't so cruel as to make him believe that it would have some repercussions. "And don't worry about my grandfather, he won't do anything, he doesn't have to." "Don't you have to...?" That he does not say what I think that means, that he does not say- "Don't you know?" asked the boy with radiant innocence, false innocence but he didn't notice, looking at him as if he were a fool. "I am Sawada Tsunayoshi, the Tenth Vongola. Now, could we please address the issue of the account, my friends must be impatient..."
"God, this is the longest line I've ever stood in my life!" Gokudera complained, making the others laugh, but he was so upset with the fact that he had been in a queue for more than 10 minutes, and they were not even halfway there, that he did not mind the laughter.
"What a queue..." said a voice clearly impressed behind them. "Is there a premiere or something like that, and Chrome?" He asked more to himself than to them, looking around to make sure she wasn't hiding, and to see if he saw any signs that said: "Grand Premiere...," but he only saw people... and more people...
"Juudaime!" He had caught him by surprise, but apparently only him, because the others only laughed at him again, greeting their boss lightly. "I have no idea," What else was she going to say? A moment ago she was there, and not so little idea where so many people came from. That reminded him that they had not yet bought the tickets and much less...
"Ma Ma, she must have gone to the bathroom-" "Attention please, Sawada Tsunayoshi please go ahead." pause. "I repeat, Sawada Tsunayoshi please go ahead." Tsuna could only break out in a cold sweat, and grimace. Maybe he had gone too far... a little with the manager if I had done this and so quickly.
"Tsuna-kun, what did you do?" Were they in trouble, why did they call him out of all the people? "Nothing," he answered innocently, so innocent that it gave them chills. "Come on, choose what you want." I went too far, I only asked to use that account, not a star service... he thought, scratching behind his neck, a little nervous, a little embarrassed. But I couldn't help it, it was so easy and so much fun...
While Tsuna was in his world, the others were just looking at each other and at his friend, wondering what the hell he had done and what demons he had gotten himself into. The curious looks of the other people did not help so little, but for Tsuna these did not even exist, not because he was in his world but because he had already created a certain immunity—error, he had created immunity. Being the head of a mafia family of such caliber meant many events with many, many people... and the paparazzi, and the fans, the murderers, and even the employees of the mansion themselves from time to time... of course, the last years of his life had been quite lonely, but he still wouldn't lose that ability that Reborn had forced him to learn along with the rest of the world. Sadly, immunity or not, maybe no one could easily put a finger on him even if he was in his world, a small disadvantage for his enemies.
"Whatever they ask for," Tsuna said simply as he arrived before walking away to see a movie poster, one of many posters. "Well, order gentlemen," the saleswoman simply said, looking like she had seen the President himself... what the hell had Tsuna done? "Kufufufu..." Tsuna was not very surprised, but before the newcomer had seen him coming, he hugged him. "Someone is very fond tonight, Kufufufu..."
"Hello, Mukuro." He ignored the comment before releasing him. "What have you come to check? I know Reborn called you..." That's a very standard thing, it's to be expected, after all... "Not that I'm not happy to see you or anything, but your visits are usually not without purpose, I'm afraid..." I'm an enigma in their minds, am I wrong?
"Kufufufu..." This guy immediately saw behind the cover... "So what-" "Knowing if I am someone else using an illusion, a forgery or simply if I am being manipulated by some illusionist, person or apparently magical object belonging to the mafia whether known or unknown, for example," Tsuna did not feel any remorse, guilt and/or satisfaction when he saw the illusionist's face contort into a very surprised and confused one. "I see that the baby didn't joke..." he said it more to himself than to his companion. Internally, he was nervous. He was in front of a very dangerous being, his instinct told him so and he would not hesitate in that. However, even though this being in front of him didn't look much (or almost nothing) like the shy and fearful being he had met and loved to tease, he was certainly not being possessed or deceived, he was under his free will.
"Why would I joke? Reborn only jokes in the short term if he does..." and less for something like that... "Now dear friend... are you going to stay for a while? And don't start with possessing me or anything like that in front of the boys, or you will just clean up the mess they will make." Mukuro couldn't help it; he shuddered at such seriousness.
He was in the presence of a predator, and at the same time a prey—a prey because obviously he didn't want to do any harm, but a predator because if he disobeyed it, it would eat him alive if that intention to kill was an indication that he was serious. Although at no point did he say he would, his body language clearly said yes. It was the strangest combination he had ever seen, very interesting indeed, and as much as he would love the idea of seeing what else was hidden there, for that was not the Vongola he knew, no, not at all. He wasn't foolish enough not to see that his intentions were clear and would make him bite the dust if he disobeyed him and probably humiliate him in the process. It was too obvious that he would beat him, by his attitude at least, and although he would like to prove the opposite...
"And I forgot..." he began with a somewhat chilling smile. "If you say something to guys that makes them worry more than they need to, what I'll do to you in return won't be pretty." Internally, Mukuro clapped his hands in discouragement. The proof that he would make him bite into dust had been put in the air. "And don't worry, it won't be anything physical, I don't want to harm Chrome, but I just need a few words for everyone to see you in a new light..." Mukuro raised an eyebrow and shuddered at the innocent smile his companion gave.
"New... light?" This boy... "Yes... do you want an example? You like pineapple and small animals and-" "Enough, Vongola!" Your reputation! "-you use 250 grams of Frutiplot brand gelatin every day to make your hair look like a pineapple and stay that way, at least when you are looking for it." "I understood, Vongola," he said as curtly as he could, making Tuna laugh. But how the hell did he know all that?! No one did it except himself!
"It's a secret, dear friend," Tsuna commented happily. Mukuro was starting to have second thoughts about him. "So... let's go?" "Maybe another time, kufufufu..." Tsuna mentally purred, seeing the smoke. It's not that he hated Mukuro or anything... But he was in such a good mood that he couldn't help but play with him as he played with the manager, the latter was the one who gave him the good mood in truth.
"Chrome ready?" he asked kindly when the smoke cleared. "He asked me what Tsuna did this time..." Everything, absolutely everything had been free, and they didn't even have to queue. She hoped that Tsuna doesn't get upset about having chosen the movie without him. It wasn't his fault that it disappeared, again.
"I don't know..." Kyoko muttered, carrying a bored Lambo. "but... it should have been-" "Are they idiots or what?" Lambo interrupted, somewhat annoyed by the topic of conversation he had been forced to listen to for the last half hour, from the discussion of the candy (in which he threw a tantrum over chocolates) to the tickets. "Tsuna-nii is a Vongola," he said simply.
I-pin didn't say anything. She felt sorry for the salespeople who had to put up with them for so long, but they were really helpful and very, very patient. Only Fuuta, she, and Kyoko didn't make a fuss, nor did they blow anything to pieces like Lambo, even if it was unintentionally, it still blew up a wall and several candy machines. Fuuta just smiled, as amused as he was. They were being naive.
"What does it have-" "But Juudaime has no idea about-" "I have no idea about what, guys?" Tsuna jumped at the unexpected appearance of Tsuna, who laughed at them. Apparently, that would be or is one of his new hobbies: scaring them to death. "Well, can you tell me?" No one gave much importance to Chrome, who was following him closely, due to the joking behavior that Tsuna was exhibiting.
"Well... we were wondering what you did to get us treated too..." This was awkward. Those appearances and disappearances were not very pleasant with the scares they brought. "Nothing really," Tsuna shrugged. "I only asked that they use the grandfather's account, nothing else. I did not ask for special service or anything," he commented calmly, as if it were the most common thing in the world, leaving everyone cold, which he did not give importance to, still happy thanks to his little game. "Well, what are we going to see, what did they buy?"
Somehow they managed to answer every question, as he was curious what he missed. Lambo mocked Gokudera until he hit him and started crying, but for Tsuna, it was totally normal. Those two were never the best of friends. However, regarding the film, the only thing he got was: it's a surprise, so, with no other options, they ended up in the movie theater, joking and talking until the movie finally started. As always, it all started with propaganda that Tsuna didn't even bother to hear, instead deciding to start a chocolate bar. Unfortunately for those sitting near him, Tsuna had decided to melt the bar and spread the melted chocolate in one of the boxes of popcorn, leaving them only three options: eat popcorn with chocolate, manage to drink from one of the others, or not touch any popcorn. They don't know what they're missing, Tsuna thought, eating the little experiment. Crazy ideas sometimes gave good results; this was one of them. As for how he melted the bar, he surely used his flames, a conclusion that made them wonder when he learned to control his flames so well that not even Reborn knew about it.
The movie wasn't all bad, or so Tsuna thought. It was about a police chief who was trying to put an end to the mafia in that region, which was very ironic indeed. It turns out that the man had an eight-year-old daughter, a very beautiful one in his humble opinion, and his wife had died because of the mafia. Because she was taken hostage and he could not save her in time, so he only had his daughter left. Because of this, he was struggling to give her a better life, but unfortunately one day, he came home after a tiring day, only to find that his daughter had been kidnapped and find a note saying that if he wanted to get her back, he would have to go to the appointed place and give... his stomach twisted at that moment, he would have to give his life in exchange.
It wasn't necessary to be a genius to know what happened after that, but he still stayed to watch, ready to get up at any moment. He didn't want to see the end. He already knew how it would end anyway. The policeman arrived at the aforementioned place, and knowing that in the end it was all a trap, he had no choice but to murder all those present, or they would kill them both, and he carefully untied his daughter, but... She looked at him with fear, very frightened because of the sight and because she was only a girl. She pulled away with a loud bang.
"Don't get close, stay away!" "It's because we're afraid of you... You're a monster!" "Tenth... I always wanted to be your right hand, but now..." "... Tsunayoshi, I can't consider you as a friend, not after what you've done..." "You are extremely terrifying murdering as if it were the most normal thing in the world... if you're not a monster, you don't lack much to the extreme..." "Kufufufu... and I thought you were more than just a mafioso, that you wouldn't be the same as everyone else... you have broken your promise, Tenth Vongola..." "You are a murderer, a monster... You liked it, didn't you?" "You have become a man to be feared, Sawada Tsunayoshi."
Without thinking twice, he left the room without saying anything. He didn't need to see what happened next; it was too obvious: she wouldn't want him anymore. None of them noticed it because they were immersed in the movie; it had a lot of action. Unfortunately, if they had realized it, they would have another clue, but they didn't. It was something so sad, but it went unnoticed. No one noticed their absence until they left the movie theater talking and joking, and still...
"... it was such a spectacular thing when I kill them all that cool, right, Tsuna?" "..." "Tsuna?... Tsuna?" "He's not... where has Juudaime gotten himself this time?" He had already lost count of how many times he had done this to them lately, but he had hoped that he wouldn't do that to them just now. "Ma Ma, maybe she just went to the bathroom, she will come back," Yamamoto said. No matter what happened, he always came back to them, in one way or another, so he wasn't so worried. That, and the fact that Tsuna was strong, although he couldn't trust that, the mafia was a very cruel world. "The ending was kind of sad if you ask me..."
They continued talking about the film for a while, especially about the ending, because it was quite sad, or bittersweet rather, because after several years, the girl understood what her father had done for her and forgave him. During those years she lived with an aunt, leaving her father alone. That ending was certainly not the most appropriate, but it was realistic. I was just a child, could I react in any positive way to an event of that caliber?
"...I am sorry... I'm really sorry... It was my fault from the beginning for being so weak, I'm really sorry for not being able to protect them... for not being able to take care of them as he should, for filling his hands with blood unnecessarily... I'm so sorry for not being a good friend and a better boss... I'm very sorry for always being a nuisance and a complete useless... I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry... But even if you hate me, I'll do anything for you... ev"
"Huh?" The word slipped from his lips without permission. When he stepped out of the bathroom, he saw something unusual.
The boys continued their jokes and antics, causing various incidents without realizing it, all while hoping to run into Tsuna. This happened sooner than they expected when they heard his laughter. Curious as cats—and hoping they wouldn't suffer a cat's fate—they approached in total silence to see what could possibly be making him laugh so much. The manager, not a fool, had sent him to a quiet area away from the crowds after their last encounter. Now they saw why.
On a large television screen, typically used for advertisements, a familiar purple dinosaur was dancing.
"Well, gentlemen, chubby and pretty, chubby and pretty…" the song played loudly from the TV.
The family had no doubts. Tsuna wasn't going to move from that spot until the program was over. It was best to get comfortable and wait.
