But for Orion, whom Falad was unaware of, Thaddeus was the best option.

But they had to be quick; apparently, they were under partial surveillance, and they couldn't afford to be caught.

This was part of why Orion had to get into the capital. The infiltration group had done their best, but their hands were partially tied. Though they'd managed to manoeuvre and find out a lot, it still wasn't enough.

The point was that the risk was there, and Orion hated uncertainties.

He aether stepped like a phantom in the night, doing his best to conceal himself and his movement. He'd managed to analyse and construct a means of breaking past Thaddeus' Spatial Veil, and although he's was a far cry from Thaddeus' innate ability, he still picked up one or two things about concealment, it was part of his future projects, he planned on working on.

He moved closer to the wall; from afar, he could see signs of patrol around the perimeter; they weren't there during the day, but they were now at night.
