Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Camelot

Global Chaos

Panic.

That was the only word to describe it.

The entire Earth Sphere was thrown into an uncontrollable frenzy just minutes after Valkiron City vanished under a blinding pillar of light.

Reports flooded in.

Communication lines overloaded.

Leaders shouted over each other.

Inside Earth Federation High Command, emergency lights bathed the war room in red. Dozens of screens flickered with live news, combat feeds, satellite data—and a single phrase pulsed across the largest display:

> "SIGNAL UNIDENTIFIED – THREAT CLASS: BLACK."

The Prime Minister, appointed less than two hours ago, had perished in the blast.

Valkiron, the city of hope and peace… was now a crater of ash.

Panic turned into paranoia.

Accusations flew.

Finger-pointing escalated.

Words like "first strike," "retaliation," and "Gundam" were whispered.

> "This can't be happening—"

"Who has that kind of power…?"

"Was it Mars? The Colonies?"

"No. It wasn't them. We would've seen it coming!"

Then, suddenly—

A new alert appeared.

Not one.

But six more.

> "Sir… we just confirmed simultaneous attacks. Six more unknown mobile suits… all at once."

The room froze.

The operator's hands trembled.

> "Locations—Seventh Colony… Rios City on Mars… Berez Capital… and—Eighth Colony. Multiple strikes… same time… same energy signature."

> "What…?"

> "Total casualties… unknown. But initial data shows—total annihilation."

Seven cities.

Seven attacks.

Seven weapons.

And then, the world held its breath.

---

The Crowned Broadcast

At 14:45 AE Standard Time, across every device—

Every screen, every projector, every communications system—

A signal took control.

Television. Holograms. Terminals. Military displays.

Everything went black.

Then a golden crest appeared: a sword piercing a sun, encircled by thorned laurel.

The image sharpened.

And a figure emerged—

A man, seated upon a high throne.

Dressed in white armor lined with gold.

A regal cloak over one shoulder.

And a crown upon his head.

He stared directly forward.

As if he could see through the screen and into your soul.

---

Arthur King Speaks

> "People of Earth.

Mars.

The Colonies.

I am Arthur King."

His voice was calm. Measured. Almost… soothing.

But it rang with an authority that made even hardened generals sit up straighter.

> "And today, you have borne witness to our return.

You cry out in fear.

You ask, 'Why?'"

The camera zoomed slowly as he stood.

Behind him, a vast golden chamber—a cathedral of light and steel.

> "This is not an invasion.

It is a correction."

He raised his hand.

The screen behind him lit up—showing seven images. Cities. Colonies. Fire. Destruction.

> "You pretend these places were symbols of peace.

But beneath their polished streets, behind their proud flags, festered the disease of corruption."

His voice sharpened.

> "Valkiron City—developing illegal nuclear propulsion systems in violation of interstellar law.

Seventh Colony—where genetically-engineered soldiers were being bred in secret.

Rios City—Mars's den of rogue AI development.

Berez Capital—home to the Syndicate Cartel funding endless proxy wars.

Eighth Colony—turning orphans into weaponized minds."

The silence was crushing.

He paused. Then spoke two words:

> "Grand Order."

---

The Return of the Forbidden

> "The Gundams…" someone whispered in the war room.

> "No. They were all dismantled. All destroyed after the Malaya Event. They were forbidden."

Arthur turned slightly, as if responding to the world's disbelief.

> "Yes.

We know of your little treaty.

The so-called 'Promise of Peace'.

But you lied to yourselves.

You did not destroy the Gundams…

You buried them."

He took a single step forward.

> "We dug them up.

We reforged them.

And now… we have named them."

The screen behind him shifted again.

Seven names, written in radiant white.

---

The Round Table – Seven Gundams

> "Gundam Tristan – Justice through speed.

Gundam Lancelot – The blade of purity.

Gundam Gawain – The king of silence.

Gundam Galahad – Shield of light.

Gundam Percival – Flame of absolution.

Gundam Bedivere – Phantom scythe.

Gundam Bors – The unyielding wall."

Each name was spoken with reverence.

Each name shook the hearts of military strategists who remembered the power the word Gundam once carried.

Nura's POV – Hospital Room

Inside a small hospital room, far from command centers and thrones—

Nura watched in stunned silence.

His body still ached. The medics had stabilized him hours ago. He was barely conscious when he was brought in. Now…

He couldn't breathe.

The image of the city—his city—burning.

The face of the man—Arthur King—so calm, so sure.

And the name of the machine that destroyed everything—

And even kill his parents.

> "Tristan…"

He whispered it.

He gritted his teeth.

His knuckles clenched the bed rail.

Blood seeped from his bitten lips.

> "Gun...dam…!"

---

Final Words of the Crown

Arthur turned one last time to face the screen.

> "We are Camelot.

And this is our message.

Peace… cannot be begged for.

It must be earned through cleansing."

He paused.

Then, with chilling certainty:

> "This is not the end of your world.

It is the beginning of a new one."

The broadcast ended.

---

Aftermath

The world erupted.

Earth Command spiraled into chaos.

The colonies fell into unrest.

Mars declared emergency planetary lockdown.

And everywhere—one name echoed in every whispered conversation, every terrified breath.

> "Camelot…"

And seven names… burned themselves into human history once more.

> Tristan.

Lancelot.

Gawain.

Galahad.

Percival.

Bedivere.

Bors.

The Gundams had returned.

And this time…

They were not humanity's salvation.

They were its judgment.
