Chapter 52 - 52

Under Qinuo's reminder, Tony had been constantly collecting evidence during this period, preparing to send Obadiah to prison.

However, some time ago, Obadiah actually handed over all the power in his hands, and with a pleading look, expressed that he only wanted to live out his later years.

Tony's heart was soft after all; after all, Obadiah had been acting as a father figure for so many years.

So, he took back the power and gave Obadiah a leisurely position, allowing him to truly retire.

However, he never knew that while he was relaxed, Stark Industries' employees, including Pepper, had been kidnapped.

Upon learning this news, he hurriedly flew over in his armor.

Unexpectedly, a large number of robots awaited him.

Each robot was loaded with weapons and a reactor; no matter how many he destroyed, new robots would continuously emerge from the factory below.

He wanted to directly blow up the factory, but there were still many innocent people inside, which put him in a dilemma.

Sweat continuously dripped from his forehead; his eyes were filled with anxiety and anger, yet he had to suppress it, continuing to deal with these robots, searching for a way to both resolve the crisis and protect the innocent.

In the factory below, a lithe redhead in a black combat suit silently infiltrated through the ventilation duct.

She was S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent, Black Widow—Natasha Romanoff.

Natasha stared intently at the robot parts being produced below, her expression grave.

"Infiltrated the factory, Fury, this place has become an armory; it can produce one robot soldier in ten minutes," Natasha said in a low voice, pressing the communicator to her ear.

Nick Fury's angry voice came from the other end of the signal: "Motherfucker, is Obadiah trying to start a war? Go find the hostages first, if not, blow up the Base."

"Understood."

Natasha responded, then found a hidden corner and carefully crawled out of the ventilation duct.

"Fury, was that call you asked me to make earlier really useful? We don't even know if that Demon King has returned from hell."

Natasha asked in a low voice, while vigilantly observing her surroundings.

"A few days ago, various flowers and plants grew around that Demon King's manor, which should be Poison Ivy's masterpiece, protecting the manor, but they all disappeared just now, that Demon King has returned, and given his relationship with Stark, he will definitely come."

Nick Fury said decisively.

When Qinuo appeared, S.H.I.E.L.D. continuously collected information about him; his abilities and attire were exactly like Superman in the comics.

Coupled with Pamela's abilities, name, and completely blank life.

Intelligence personnel speculated that the Demon King could travel through the comic World, and even take people with him.

"I hope so; these gadgets on me won't work against these iron lumps."

Natasha looked helpless; her original mission to infiltrate Tony Stark's side had turned into a hostage rescue before it even began.

Fortunately, she was only responsible for finding the location; the hostages would be rescued by the special operations team.

Natasha moved through the dim and intricate factory passages, and after a series of tense and difficult searches, she finally found the location of the hostages.

"Fury, I've found the hostages, we can act," Natasha said in a low voice, pressing her earpiece.

"Na...sha, quick..." Only the crackling static of electricity came from the earpiece.

Natasha's hairs instantly stood on end; years of combat experience made her immediately sense danger, and she left her original position without hesitation.

The next second, a light whip wrapped in dazzling electric light violently struck where she had just stood, leaving a deep mark on the ground and emitting a burnt smell.

"Look what I found, a lost kitten."

A mocking voice sounded, and an armor completely different from the mass-produced mechanical soldiers appeared in front of Natasha.

The material of this armor was clearly better, emitting a cold luster, with two long whips wrapped in lightning on both sides of its arms, crackling with chilling electric light, as if ready to deliver a fatal blow to the enemy at any moment.

Bang bang bang!

Natasha pulled out her pistol without hesitation and continuously fired at the reactor on the armor's chest.

Bullets whistled out, striking the armor and sending sparks flying.

When the bullets were spent, the armor in front of her sneered, "Finished firing? Then it's my turn."

Its shoulder slowly opened, and a miniature missile instantly ejected.

"Damn it."

Natasha cursed, turned, and ran desperately backward.

However, her speed was no match for the missile.

Instantly, she was enveloped by a surging flame.

"Ivan Vanko, what are you doing, using missiles in the factory? Do you want to blow us all sky-high?!" Obadiah's angry roar came from within the Whiplash armor.

"I encountered a kitten," Ivan Vanko's voice was dismissive.

"Stop doing stupid things; if you don't want your father to die, get to work immediately," Obadiah reprimanded him unceremoniously, his tone full of threat.

"Yes," Ivan Vanko's eyes were cold, filled with unwillingness, but he could only obey the order.

Then, he controlled the armor and turned to leave.

After learning that Tony had miniature reactor and Iron Man armor technology, he had always tried to seize it.

But then Tony became wary of him and investigated his crimes, causing him to never find an opportunity to act; at that time, the resentment in his heart grew even stronger.

Suddenly one day, his thoughts drifted back many years, remembering that there were others who also possessed reactor technology.

So, he searched everywhere and finally found that person.

However, that person was already half-dead with illness, but fortunately, his son was extremely talented and, like Tony, successfully miniaturized the reactor.

Thus, Obadiah began his conspiracy.

He first feigned repentance, handing over all the power in his hands, creating a false impression of having turned over a new leaf, but secretly controlling Stark's weapon factory.

Next, he threatened Ivan Vanko to build Iron Man armor for him, kidnapped hostages, and then lured Tony over, attempting to use this to show his powerful strength to this country.

Ivan Vanko came to the control room and saw Obadiah staring intently at the screen, which showed a scene of robots engaged in fierce combat.

"That's right, just like that, exhaust your energy, and then I'll crush you; this way everyone will know the power of my mechanical soldiers, and I will become the new arms king of this country, hahahaha."

Obadiah laughed maniacally, his laughter sharp and piercing, as if it would break through the walls of the control room.

His eyes were pitch black, like an endless abyss, without a trace of light.

Beside him stood a three-meter-tall, massive, bloated armor, exuding an oppressive aura.

Ivan Vanko stood behind him, looking at Obadiah's almost insane appearance, and a chill ran down his spine.
