Synopsis
> She loved him in silence… while he loved someone else out loud. Alice, a stargazer turned astronaut, spent years hiding her heart from Adrian — the charming CEO who saw her only as a friend. She watched him fall for another, break her silently a thousand times, yet smiled through every scar. When fate pulls her away, she chooses strength over sorrow — leaving behind the boy she could never have. But the universe has its own way of telling love stories… By the time Adrian realizes it was Alice all along, she's already promised herself to another. And just when destiny gives them a second chance… the stars take her away — forever. Now, all that remains is a shattered man sitting outside a church, whispering to the heavens: “So this is karma... please remember your last promise.”

Chapter 1 - So this is your karma...

It was Sunday. The sun was bright, and as always, a large crowd had gathered outside the church.

People came and went, laughing, praying, lost in their own worlds —

But not him.

He sat on the edge of the stone path, covered in a torn jacket, tangled hair falling across his eyes, his skin tanned and cracked like it had forgotten the touch of light…

and his eyes… they were lost somewhere far beyond the Earth.

Two young people stood nearby, watching him silently.

"Lisa… do you really believe he ended up like this just because he lost someone he loved?"

She rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on. That's ridiculous."

Jack turned sharply. "It's not ridiculous. Rubbish is only for those who've never truly loved. That man—he made love his whole life."

Lisa crossed her arms, unimpressed. "Still, I don't believe it."

They glanced again at the man—dirty, broken, alone—and despite her words, something in Lisa's chest pulled.

He wasn't drunk. He wasn't shouting.

He just… stared at the church door. Waiting.

Jack's voice was softer now. "If you can't love someone truly, Lisa… at least don't mock someone who did."

She sighed. "Fine. I'll believe it… but only if he admits it himself."

Jack looked shocked. "What?! Are you out of your mind?"

Lisa smirked. "I want to talk to him."

Jack hesitated. "Lisa, no. That's too much—"

"Are you seriously saying no to me now?"

"…Fine. Let's go."

They stepped closer to the man.

His jacket hung loose, his face shadowed by dirt and time. His eyes had sunken deep with sleepless nights, and his lips trembled—like he was still waiting for someone to say her name.

Jack knelt down gently. "Excuse me… sir?"

The man slowly lifted his face, and his voice cracked like dry wind through autumn leaves.

"A-Alice… have you seen her?"

"Where is my Alice...? She said… she promised…"

Lisa and Jack froze.

"I… I was waiting for her… she said she'd come back to me…"

He looked up at the sky. "She went to the moon… but she never came back. Can you tell her? Tell her Adrian is still waiting…"

Jack, moved beyond words, reached out and gently hugged the man.

"I'm so sorry… but please… will you tell us? Who was Alice?"

The man began to laugh — a broken, empty laugh —

And then, just as suddenly… he began to cry.

"My Alice…" he whispered. "She promised to marry me… to return… but she left... and the sky swallowed her up."

Jack handed him a bottle of water, speaking softly.

"Please… if you can… start from the beginning. Tell us everything…"

And slowly… painfully… the man began to speak....

The story begin's....

Scene: NASA Headquarters

Bright digital screens glow. Scientists move swiftly, tension lacing the air.

Sofia (firmly):

"Sir, we'll need to clear the payment for the new rocket parts first. Only then will the suppliers dispatch them."

NASA Manager (nodding):

"Understood. Process the payment immediately. We can't afford any delay — the satellite launch depends on it."

Sofia:

"Yes, sir."

---

Scene Shift: Shingwa Tech Corporation – Main Office

Tall glass windows bathe the sleek office in natural light. Employees rush about as the tension grows.

Lina (knocking, entering Adrian's cabin):

"Sir, payment confirmation is on the way from NASA. But before that… your grandfather has requested a meeting."

Adrian (CEO, dressed sharply in a dark suit, sipping coffee calmly):

"A meeting? Hmm… strange. Why would Grandpa suddenly want one?"

Lina (hesitating):

"I'm sorry, sir… I'm not sure. Maybe you should speak to him directly."

Adrian (leaning back in his chair thoughtfully):

"Alright. I'll handle it. In the meantime, prepare the product assignments. We might need a few samples for early evaluation."

Lina:

"Right away, sir."

She leaves with a stack of files.

Adrian (to himself, slowly spinning his chair):

"A meeting… now? What's going on?"

Scene Shift: Alice's Apartment – Morning Chaos

Alarm buzzes. Papers scattered across the table. Laptop still open. A cup of cold coffee rests beside it.

Alice's Roommate (calling from kitchen):

"You do realize you're leading the entire team today, right?! And you're still not ready?!"

Alice (running out with tangled hair and her jacket half-on):

"I KNOW! I know! Just five more minutes! The universe hates punctuality!"
