walking to him with indifference but “…madness flickering in his pale irises, like a storm he couldn’t contain.”

he blocked the remaining words from his mouth with his  because he knew what he was going to say having heard it thousands of times.

I know it's been almost three months since the last update, and disappearing like that wasn't fair, especially to those of you who have been patiently waiting, checking in, and still holding space for this story. I'm really sorry for the silence.
