Lilith's red eyes narrowed as she watched him carefully, trying to read his intentions while calculating her next move.
Then Adam lifted his right hand in front of him, curling the rest of his fingers except the first two; index and middle.
He had just held up a hand seal, and with that activated his Law.

Adam had long known that scribbling could perhaps present itself as a weakness, and had developed his power of Laws to suit just this need.
With his Law active, he no longer required the intermediary step of writing.
