Thera and Orion had just arrived moments ago on the Moon's surface.
And Thera had just finished recounting the events in Eden. She explained how she and Orion had attempted to retrieve the Holy Grail, how Lilith had caught them, and how they'd been exiled.
When she fell silent, Gaia with a concerned expression said,
"That was dangerous, Thera, what if she had done something worse than simply sending you both away?"
The tone of Gaia's voice was firm but not harsh.
Thera sighed and then replied. "I had to try."
Umgadi spoke then. "Lilith will bring about the end of the gods without even knowing it."
She turned her gaze toward the distant stars. "That's what saddens me most."
Thera looked past her sisters toward Adam's body still lying to the side.
"No progress on waking him?" she asked.
Gaia shook her head. There was a brief pause before she spoke again.
"I intend to get the help of the Dragon of Creation."
